Volvo 850 ZV Switched to Mass or Plus?
Hello, I want to retrofit a radio remote control to the existing ZV on my 850 (Bj. 96). Now I just don’t know if the ZV is ground-controlled or plus-controlled, depending on the two cables are hung either on plus or on mass. Can someone help me? What is this rectangular “thing”? The one cable that goes on the starter, is something wrong, because the voltage drops rapidly from the battery pool to the cable. Is it about a fuse? K1100LT Retrofit seat heating – Who knows?
Hello all, I would like to retrofit a two-part and two-stage seat heater at my K 1100 LT. I had thought that I would install two toggle switches like it is for the handle heating in the front panel in order to be able to operate the seat heaters. I am not sure if I have to switch between a relay and how to secure everything. Maybe someone also has experience with seat heaters and may also be able to tell me which manufacturers provide good quality.

The disaster continues: Lexus never again, anger to the end
After reporting several times about the worst of all Lexus workshops (Leipzig), we actually thought that with the desired return of our leasing RX400h, the nightmare would be over. Far from it, Lexus still seems to go a bit more: because of imaginatively thought-out flaws (the DEKRA reviewer told us proudly and fairly naively that this workshop is his most important and long-standing client…) one more rebuttal of more than 4,000EUR on the leasing payments. The best thing: also because of an allegedly unreported accident damage, which had allegedly been repaired even badly. And the rims are damaged! I have so far returned in my life 3 Volvo SUVs, an Audi A 6 and a Porsche 997 as a leasing car, in a comparable condition. What Volvo always said so nicely at handover: “We can hardly expect our customers to bring the car back in a new state of condition…” OK, Porsche is still something else, but just to the contrary: “Because of the scratch before we risk the whole set of the legal charges,” the Lexus customers will at least be able to tell us that the biggest customer about the rest of their business.”
