Subject 2.2 TiD. I always use the Mobil1 SynthS 5W-40. Today I got oil again, as soon as changes are announced again. I noticed that the canisters have a new, rounder shape. I of course immediately looked at the small print. And look, it has now printed the GM release (GM-LL-B025). The other Normans were already correct and the oil was suitable before. Only as information for oil refillers or self-screws.

V50 experience with cruise control
Hello, with my V50 MJ09 I experienced the following on Friday as well as yesterday: I drive about 50 km to the highway, want to activate my cruise control there, “Cruise” lights up, but with “+” or “-” I can’t program speed. I stay in a parking lot, switch off the engine, start new and cruise control works. Yesterday a similar game: I drive on the highway with a working cruise control, take a pee break, then continue and cruise control does not function again with “+” or “-“. Stay back – motor off – on: funzt. Has anyone ever had this? Please for explanations *g* Pope

Picture of the new V30
According to the Swedish Teknikens Värld, a five-door version of the C30 will soon appear called V30. Here is a picture of the cover of the magazine. Since I have no access to the article, I can’t say anything about the supposed timing etc.

New iPhone 3Gs doesn’t work with high performance?
Hello you, my 2G iPhone works perfectly with the USB port of the high performance system of our V50. A friend had his brand new iPhone 3G with him today, but his iPod function was not recognized. Does someone already have the iPhone 3Gs (not the 3G) and can contribute experience values? Thank you, Phileas

Buy new tires….some questions
Require 4 new tyres and a few offers in the meantime, but there are still some questions unanswered. At the moment I drive the Continental SportContact 2 brand in size 205/50R17 93W. I was very satisfied with this tire so far, also the mileage is fine for me. As a new purchase come into question: – Continental SportContact 3 – Michelin Primacy HP The Volvo workshop offers the tyre with the name 93W, the tyre dealer says that also Speedindex V and Lastindex 89 would be allowed. This would have no disadvantages, only advantages with the price. I am now unsure why Volvo does not draw attention to this variant. The Volvo offer is also about 25% higher than with the tyre dealer. Volvo wants me to sell Michelin Primacy, which would increase the final price by another 50 euros. Who has had experience with one of the two mentioned tyres and can tell me something about it, among other things also because of the km performance, comfort and rolling noise. The tyre dealer tells me that the Michelin would offer more comfort, but is really fit?

XC60 and 2 phones via Bluetooth
Hello Volvo fans, intend to order a Volvo again after a break (had already 3). Then I drove one to the test yesterday. Class car! What surprised me, however, is that I can only have one phone active via Bluetooth. That would be really bitter with a vehicle of this class. That can cost other manufacturers already in cars less than half. Maybe again to use: Drive a lot (about 35,000/year) and that with companies and private phone. If I are called, no matter on which device, I expect that the hands-free device will indicate the call and I can accept it. Was I just too stupid to activate that or is it actually not in the XC60? Greeting to the round Note: have found nothing about the search function

V60 (CC) – is there no more diesel?
My first question here in this area – is there really no more diesel? In the configurator (.at) I can no longer find a V60 with diesel. Since I was with a Volvo dealer today because of a spare part for my 20 year old S60 with the legendary 5 cylinder diesel, I noticed a V60 CC. And since you get older and I probably want to get out in 20 years also rather higher than with my current one, I think the next car should perhaps be a V60 CC. Only, apart from that the CC, and the SUVs are even more disproportionately expensive, I can no longer find one with diesel engine. Complete price list is also not downloadable on the website (will be available shortly), in which I could look. Who knows more exactly? I still have diesel and how long still? Oh yes, please don’t stone. I know that in DE rather the petrol fans are represented. But here in AT the tax is calculated after kW. And diesel is significantly cheaper overall (Sprit costs a similar amount, consumption is clearly lower). I have never been an infinite diesel fan, but I have been looking for the S60 years.

Considerable susceptibility to error with the VOLVO XC60 Plugin Hybrid ?
Hello Together, short to me: I’ve been looking for a used XC60 Recharge 2020/2021 for a long time. It would be my first own Volvo. I know the company through my parents, who always had a Volvo box truck during my childhood. So there is a certain emotional connection. I imagine driving the XC60 as a hybrid mainly electric in the city. We should soon get a wallbox in the garage too. Before that I telephoned with a dealer who has the XC60 as mildhybrid. He has argued very vehemently against the plugin hybrids of Volvo. Supposedly, the constantly causing problems, extra costs and computer crashes etc. In summary, he thinks that the plugin hybrids are completely underdeveloped. I already realize that he wants to sell his own car and therefore argues so. But his vehemence and drastic remarks have already made me a little unsure. Therefore, I wanted to ask here anecdotically how the experiences with the plug-in hybrids are, especially if you want to be on the road with a lot of full electric and beautiful weekends?

Cooling water loss in the Turbo or AGR range (D5)
Volvo V70 D5 (185ps), Built 2007 Geartronic 6-speed Aisin TF-80-SC, 180 tKM Good evening together, my Volvo loses quite a lot of coolant. About 0.5 liters per hour when the engine is warm. No loss is apparent or much less when standing. No loss is apparent from above. Today the lower engine cover has been taken down. You can see that the coolant runs down the transmission and has to step out in the area of AGR or Turbo. Where exactly the liquid leaks can’t be detected without further notice. One should probably take air to the filter box, hoses to the vacuum pump or turbo heat protection. Questions: Is the turbo cooled by coolant? (To know if the liquid leak is possible in this area.) Are there typical flaws in this area that could be closed to the D5? (in order to order spare parts before starting the operation or simply prioritizing the search.) Greetings, Bond
