Smart won’t start, despite the new battery.
Hello together, lately I have used public transport and after about 2 months of service I wanted to start the Smart again. However, there was only click noise when starting. I assumed that the battery is all and replaced it with a new one. After that you hear the typical noise when starting the engine again, but still it doesn’t start. I am layman and don’t know me. Hey, guys, maybe you can help me!
I have 2 problems at the moment! 1. My steering cracks when driving straight ahead or when loading and unloading by playing with the accelerator pedal in the first and second gear! Think that’s maybe the spring… 2. But what really worries me is that my engine oil suddenly gets hotter than usual! Original water temperature indicator shows everything normal and my retrofitted oil temperature indicator (adapter oil filter) suddenly goes up to 90°C without me kicking it!A few days ago I was glad if I got it at 80°C!So warm it just got in the summer when I kicked it and now we have winter and I ride normal! Do you have an idea?
