  • Sprinter W906 219 CDI makes a funny noise

Hello, for 2 days my Sprinter has been making a strange noise after the gas take away or tossing gas pedals. The noise comes only with operating warm engine. I did a short video where it is quite good to hear, starting from minute 1:25 starts with the noise I thought he was the turbo, therefore also this view at the video. The service consultant of Mercedes thinks that it is definitely not normal, have an appointment for tomorrow 1.10.15, there is the workshop master again in the house. • grip driver side a column (mb-code 75)

hello people, have another question. mb would like for 2 grips (a-pillar re. and li.) incl. installation 301€ incl. VAT. grips incl. mounting material for both sides cost 131€ without VAT. the installation is too expensive for me as early renter and you can certainly do that yourself. for consequential damage I have to we ourselves, because the retrofitting of the daimler ag is not tested or released. can someone please tell me, however, how I get the covering of the a-pillars and whether it is no matter at what height the grips are attached, or is there exrta predestined for it? thank you for your informations ??

  • Are helpless, blower air does not arrive – problem with Crafter and Sprinter

We are on the road with our Sprinter 319 from 2014 with womo construction and have, like with our predecessor car, a 2006 crafter the same problem: After a operating time of 2-3 hours the blower noise changes and there is no air out of the openings. Blower runs audible and air cools (ventilation slots are ice cold) After a short turn off of the blower then it goes again for half an hour, after a longer break it goes then again for 2-3 hours. When we went 3 years ago with the crafter in the workshop, wanted to calculate 2 full working days (extension cockpit kpl ), but can not tell us if you would find the error. Without climate with dog in Croatia is not possible, therefore we ask for a tip. That must be a known problem? Thank you Dear greetings Jörg + Sandra

  • Don’t jump on after repair in the workshop

Hello I brought my Sprinter into a workshop because he jumped badly. The workshop changed the light plugs better but it didn’t, then they disassembled the whole engine and now he starts up and goes out again after about a minute. The workshop is by the way already over a month and I can not use the car. Can I sue the workshop somehow or have the car repaired at the expense of the workshop where else ? many thanks

  • Cracking when starting up in EP 3

Hello people!!! Have been having problems with my CTR for a long time. Every time I start there are funny cracks. The cracking comes defensively from the front. Feel it also a little in the steering wheel! It is always only when driving. Or when I walk off the gas and then step on it again. Was already in the workshop, they found a defective rubber bearing from the engine mount then, but that was not it! Who could help me there?!!

  • Question of conscience: Purchase of a V50 from “rental car return”?

Hello are considering whether we can buy a V50 D2 (first registration 03.2011; approx. 20000km) with good equipment and good price from a larger car dealer or rather leave our fingers off it. Problem1: Vehicle comes from car rental company (eurocars); Problem 2: Vehicle probably has a fall/track problem at the front left: tires on the outside very badly driven. Fixing the latter could still be agreed within the scope of the purchase (incl. new tire?). However, the past of the car can no longer be eliminated. The car would have a quiet life here (throughout 10,000 km/year with reserved driving). How would you decide?

  • Clashing coupling

Hello, I’ve been driving a V50 D2, built in 2011 with around 25,000 km of mileage since a few weeks. Up to one point I’m completely satisfied with the vehicle: I’ve also noticed this well-known “crack” during gear change or load change. Here in the forum there are already some posts about it, which I have already read carefully. However, various tips were given. Adhesive the drive shafts (which is probably quite controversial), special grease up to the replacement of the clutch or even the gearbox. The posts are mostly already a bit older, so I would be interested in whether there are new experiences/solutions to this. I’m a little surprised, because the problem with Volvo is obviously already known for some years, and an almost new vehicle still has to struggle with the problem. Another small thing happened to me: If I turn the lock from position II to III to start the engine, then I can immediately go back to position II, because the starter is always busy until the engine jumps. Sometimes it comes to the starter.
