  • New Pioneer DEH-P88RS

Hi! I’m looking for a new radio for my Audi A3 8P, which is supposed to fit visually into the car… Right now I’ve been looking for the new Pioneer DEH-P88RS, and wanted to hear your opinion on whether there is something like this, or if someone has already had some experience with the quite new model? The advantages of this radio are above all the white display lighting and the aperture optics in brushed aluminum. Here is the exact description:http://www.pioneer.de/en/product_d etail.jsp?product_id=12303 Greetings Peter

  • Warranty for tyre defects

Hello! My car is a Mercedes Sprinter 213CDI from 11/2001 I bought a set of new summer tires last year (02.04.2011). In winter I drove with my winter kit. In the last weeks the driving behaviour of my car became always more sponge. Especially with wind. I am used to the fact that the car is wind prone, but the extra measure of the last few weeks has moved me to become presumptuous at the DEKRA. I first thought it was something at the wheel suspension but what the Examiner then showed was more than disturbing. 3 out of 4 matures have massive bulges inside and meim 4 starts it already. see pictures. Now I want to go complain next week my tires. But since now a good 13 months have passed since purchase, I would like to know if on the tire is still guaranteed. With batteries it also says, it is only 6 months. Would I be very happy about pertinent ways.

  • Runflat – offered tires for years the same?

Hi, I’m currently looking for new Runflat tyres in 205/55 R16 V for my 120d E81. One often reads that the new generation RFT tyres are better, etc. But at the BMW dealer (and also at the online tyre dealers) I am offered tyres – at least in this tyre dimension – which have been on the market for years. For example, I have Continental PremiumContact SSR on my vehicle with DOT2007. This still exists. Another example is the Bridgestone ER3 00-1, which also seems to have been on the market since 2009. 1. Is it to be expected that if, for example, I buy the PremiumContact SSR again, but then with DOT2012, that these are exactly the same, as already my current tyres from 2007 or despite the same model designation changes take place in the tires? 2. Does anyone have experience with RFT tyres that carry the same model designation, but whose DOT are a few years apart? Maybe even especially in the Which RFT in this dimension should you buy most at the moment? Thank you very much. PS: Please don’t discuss RFT. I don’t think the comfort is bad, about 110€ per tire is also not too expensive (online) and about the wear and tear I want to get a picture of myself with new tires (didn’t have the car for long). It’s all about whether tyres that have been offered by name for years are exactly the same as before (even in my case 5) Years.

  • General tyre pressure

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask here what it looks like with the pumping up and the tyre pressure in general. In the doors or somewhere else in the car you will find the tyre pressures with all manufacturers, do you stick to it or do you go about it minimally? Even from the point of view of fuel saving it would interest me whether one or the other has a little more air in the tire.

  • Buy Pontiac Firebird 3.1?

Hello, I drove a Firebird today with the 3.1 liter V6 ( built in 1990 ). Wow has the part a nice sound. But who you go on ́s gas, then there is GARNIX. But I looked at the car in spite of everything and also thought about buying it. Now I wanted to ask you some questions, which I should pay attention to? And what it could be worth? What does such a vehicle consume ( REAL BITTE )? Here the link to the car:http://such en.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… So the vehicle is in a good condition, the only thing that is now would be that it doesn’t get any papers for the rims. He doesn’t have the number of rims, but that’s all. He wants 3300€ for the car (I think a lot for such an old box ) where you get the same with less km cheaper. What do you say about it? Here’s a video:http://www.myvideo.de/watch/2571420 So the sound is better in real. for your labors.

  • Renault Clio immobilizer

Hello, I assume that the topic has already been dealt with here, if yes I apologize for it. I urgently need help. With my clio a plantine on the key has broken off. A friend of mine could solder it again, but now the immobilizer does not go out and the car does not start. I have to say that I bought the car used and only one key. However, the immobilizer has caused problems from the beginning and I am already at the unpossible After the soldering of the plantine, the automatic door lock now works again, which did not work before. I therefore assume that the key has been repaired well. No one wants to help me with Renault. I have never been treated so condescendingly as with all Renault dealers in the last few days. I can only explain this to myself that my car is already older. , built in 2002. According to Renault, it is not possible to reread the key or enter a code. I am supposed to have a new lock or something installed, which costs me 600 euros. My car is not worth that much, although it does not cause any problems. Do I have to scrap my car now? Maybe someone can help me… I’m really desperate. Thank you very much.

  • several small questions…

Moinsen! I’ve recently been driving an Omega A 2,0i Limo EZ 94. I also had 1 year of technical warranty from the friendly one. So imagine the following situation: You drive with approx. 100 – 120 and hear such a quiet clatter. Well, it’s not really a rattling rather a crackle or the like. I’ve already checked everything in the interior that could make smoke, but unfortunately I didn’t find out. What could that be…? I’m pretty sure it’s coming from the engine, even though the 1A is running… . Now has about 83000 km on it, and already a new timing belt. When should the new one? It was changed only because of the time 98. I would like to make a sub with enstage in the trunk. How do I get the cable from the battery to the rear. Are there any executions? Can you get this way without taking all the amatures out? And where can you put all the cables like audio and voltage in the car at best? Unfortunately I have no nivue regulation. That’s really Äzent. I drove with 5 people and full luggage! I never do that again. The noise from the mud catcher is killing your mind! Otherwise it only comes up when you hit full throttle. What can you do there? How can I get the rear higher? Is a bit much, but I hope you have a few tip(p)s for me…! I have to travel longer distances with 4 people in the car more often. That’s why I decided for this really nice car. n. MfG ps: lotus omega: sabber sabber

After oil now also cooling water ….

  • Which navigator system??

Hello together, I’m about to order a Saab 9-3 Aero Sportcombi in the near future and now I’m interested in the question of whether I should order a navigation system or not. Maybe someone can tell me experiences about the Saab navigation system – so whether it works reliably and quickly or how it works compared to competitors. Because almost 3000 euros is already a lot of wood if it is not good at the end. What is actually the exact Unterschi ed between infotainment plus 300 and infotainment premium 300? Thank you in advance, ciao Somic

  • Experiences Hirsch-Motortuning Saab 9-3 1.8t (2004)

Since 19.06.04 I am happy owner of a SAAB 9-3 1.8t (year 2004). Before I drove an MG ZS180. When I bought the Saab, I was unsure what kind of motorization it should get. 150hp or 175hp? My salesman said that I should save the extra charge for the 175hp Saab of 2000EURO, because all the two models were a 2L machine. I should then rather invest 1250EURO in the Hirsch tuning and it would then get out 195hp and the Verein now I ask for some practical experiences from you about the Step1 of Hirsch! Consumption, warranty, reliability, difference to the series, insurance, installation, life, fuel, satisfaction etc.??? Thank you and sorry for the many questions. But I wanted to inform myself before. Greeting Mike
