Hello, have the following problem. After work, on the way home, I slid into a ditch (no other road user was involved) but took 1 road sign. Quite big damage to the car, so front and rear pressed in. The car is a Mitsubishi Lancer 3 years old. Then called the police, which took the accident. They also noticed that I still had summer tires on it and took it to the record. It didn’t snow and had over 3 degrees, but it was wet (not frozen). The policeman meant he deals with my insurance…… At home with my insurance the damage reported, whereupon she wants to send an expert of the DEKRA. Now to the eig. problem. The rims that I have mounted are the original Mitsu rims, but the tires are instead of original 215 tires 225er which are not registered. What comes to this, as already mentioned, no winter tires. The police i the tyre size is not noticed (is also otherwise all original, even the rims, on the car). But if the expert shows up now, he certainly looks into the vehicle papers and sees the eig. 215er must be mounted and to all of this still summer tires are on it. Have already thought fast to put on winter tires, but if the police gets in contact with the insurance will definitely notice. Numbers will probably not be comprehensive here, will it? Had someone who’s having fun with an expert? they’re probably looking at everything and passing on every lack of insurance…. Is it afterwards, when the police have already taken up everything, something to change the tires before the expert comes? I look black, and I wanted to mount the winter tires today :S

Find reliable and durable car
Jo moin together, I’m looking for a reliable car for my wife, who usually has few problems besides wear parts and is relatively humane in maintenance. I’m not an expert myself, but with Lexus or Toyota you’re definitely not wrong. What would you recommend? I’m open to all suggestions, from Toyota Aygo to Lexus is250 or Toyota gt86. Can also be another brand, the reliability and longevity are in the foreground.

IS250 – Searched for a dream car… with 220tkm still buy?
Hello, I’m currently superior to buying a Lexus IS 250. Currently the market is quite expensive compared to 1 1/2 years ago, I’m concerned if you can currently spend 9000 euros for a 2008er with good care which is well maintained but at around 210,000tkm. The problem for me is that there are also other cars in the price region which are at 100,000 TKM like a Golf VI which is too boring for me. The Lexus of my uncle IS250 now has over 350,000 tkm on the hump, is such a thing to expect with good care with small to medium-sized repairs? would not like to make a financial grave just because I like the car so much. Just look for a good daily, drive about 13.000tkm a year and 80% of it highway/road.

Consider buying an ES
Hello together, I write for the first time here in the LEXUS forum and hope that I am right here. I think about ordering the ES. Thank God my salesman is on vacation at the moment, so that I have won a little more thought time. I like the car visually and also the test drive convinced me of the comfort. What is certainly problematic are the dimensions. Underground parking does not seem suitable to me. Maybe one of his impressions of the car can describe . I realize that there will certainly be only a few ES drivers here, but maybe someone has got lost here and wants to report about his experience. My vehicle history since retirement can be taken from my profile. Greeting Bonnercls

Deficient processing RX 450h
Hello, I wanted to ask if you had comparable bad experiences with the processing of the interior and with your dealer? When wiping the dashboard with a damp microfibre cloth, white strips were formed that can no longer be removed. I was there with the dealer. There I was informed that similar has already occurred with at least 10 RX but can no longer be changed. I should only dust the dashboard as carefully as possible. r seller also immediately said that an exchange of the dashboard was too expensive. After that, however, I had not asked at all. Toyota customer service was waiting for a long time and then replied that such discoloration is supposedly unknown. However, a search request is enough at Google. I have now examined this by an expert.

e-Mokka squeaks while braking
Moin, I have an e-Mokka Ultimate EZ 03/21. In the meantime 4000km have been driven and I am satisfied. Fits well as a city car. In the last weeks something nervous has developed: the car squeaks while braking, especially when you start driving in the morning. Back slowly out of the exit and it squeals super loud – you can hear it from forever far away. Now it was clear to me that the car as an e-car of course uses the brakes less. Nevertheless, I do not want to accept that the car People look everywhere at you shocked. So I drove to the dealer and I was very disillusioned with what they meant. They slowed down several times and the squeaking is gone. That’s all they could do. I’m just supposed to give a little bit of gas and slow down at the same time. In my opinion, this is more than unsatisfactory. What do you think?

LED headlight Mokka B , snowfall
Hello I’m new here, I bought the new Opel Mokka B 1.2 petrol 100 hp, which made me happy was that the Mokka is now equipped with LED headlights with every equipment variant. Unfortunately this joy today got a massive damper. Today for the first time in Bavaria strong snowfall in the morning hours. The temperature by -1 degrees. The smaller evil was the self-bleaking of the snowflakes, much worse was that after 5 KM on the highway the view went towards zero It was so bad that I only had the possibility to drive behind a truck and follow its rear lights until the next descent still about 3km. Immediately after the departure from the highway I stopped and had to find out that the LED headlights were completely covered with a more than 1 cm thick snow layer. with halogen headlights this was prevented by the own warmers. Probably also due to the geometry of the sc heinwerferfront which are actually completely vertical without scraping plus LED where there is no own heat. Wanted to ask here if it is similar with the predecessor model is known. Since the new Mokka is not yet old as long there will be no great experience there. I find that it is a considerable safety risk if the headlights cover themselves so quickly in snowfall and the light is almost completely lost. Maybe someone has had similar experience and e I should probably get in touch with Opel. Thank you for your information.

My Corolla Verso
Hello to each other! In January I switched from a Renault Scenic to a Corolla Verso 1.8 Executive. The first disappointment: a miserable long delivery period of over 4 months. (May be due to the equipment, the dealer, MMT. sliding roof, DVD entertainment, removable AHK, stand-up heating, alarm system, whereby most of the accessories were only installed by the dealer himself…). 2. Disappointment: The MMT transmission! Has been written a lot about it here already (I have there! I personally find the gearbox unusable. Completely senseless switching processes, which lasts forever, even on the underground garage exit he tries to switch and takes so long, that the car rolls almost back again. I originally wanted to buy a diesel, but did not buy it in favor of the MMT transmission, that bothers me the most…. What I haven’t read here is the cruise: For my understanding he reacts even much too slow, for example, to be slowed down. The automatic is already giving full throttle for about 2 seconds, when I have already pressed down the lever, the same when switching off by means of a lever. With the brake actuation, it switches off immediately, why not with the lever?? Did anyone else have similar experiences here?? So much for my first post, I collect even more experiences.
