  • “sensitive” clutch, why is that?

    Again and again I read, and have made the experiences myself that the clutch is extremely “toxic” “sensitive” etc.. Well, I have now become accustomed to it and absolutely no problems with it, but the question is: why is it so extreme, and apparently only with the TDCI? Something the developers must have thought about? A statement that I once heard: This must be because of the high torque, because the clutch otherwise “slip” when switching and thus se Can that be?

  • New prices for Tesla S/X – difficult times for EQS?

    The title actually says everything … today Tesla has significantly reduced the prices for Model S and X. For example, the Model S now costs 95,000 with freely selectable color. A (due) comparable EQS 500 costs relatively naked just under 130,000. Then the Tesla has significantly more performance, the Mercedes in detail the better workmanship and otherwise the one, sometimes the other has an extra. But overall, I find both are quite comparable. Only the Mercedes costs more than 35% more. I h Mercedes always looks at the front of the German e-cars, but I think now really dark clouds are coming up. How do you see that? Do you think that Mercedes reacts somehow? Also lower prices? Improve leasing conditions? Give encores, e.g. 3 years free IONITY store? I ordered an EQS 450+ a few weeks ago, among other things the leasing conditions were significantly better than with Tesla. Do I have to get angry now?

  • EQE – Real-time display of charging stations

    I don’t think I’m crazy! On the navigator card, the charging stations including their occupancy are no longer displayed. I can’t say how long this won’t work anymore, but I’m sure it worked earlier. In MercedesMe all (charging) services are activated, in the MBUX the display of the charging stations is activated. SW Version RL_NTG_E316.505_22092AC3, so far no update. Cards Version 14.0 Original was 12.0, so far 2 Udates 13>14 Does anyone else have the problem?

  • EQE convertible?

    There is a convertible of the E-Class. What about the EQE as a convertible? Were there rumors? Unfortunately, I don’t know any cabrio addictions from the Taycan, nor do I know about the i4, although it would probably be possible. Cabros are totally neglected with e-cars, although this is a great combination (had even the Smart EQ convertible). j.

  • EQE – Intelligent recuperation: SA or series?

    Hi together, I have read this in one or the other topic, but have not yet found a definite statement or even a source of it. Is the intelligent recuperation, i.e. the automatic braking/recuperation in front of the place sign/circuit etc. or when approaching a slower vehicle at the EQE in series included? (always and without use Distronic) Rumor is this only from Premium package and Fahrassi Plus, but not with Advanced Plus with the assistance package included. ß someone more? With the plug-ins this is a series and I don’t want to miss that anymore.

    Hello dear hooves damaged! With the OBD software forscan in the Windows version, the annoying hooves can be turned off! Have just done this successfully within a few minutes!

  • Used Mazda 2, not quite new but little km: Buy?

    Hello together, have found online a used Mazda 2 with 90hp from 12/2015 with under 20,000km from 1st hand and with new HU. Looks also externally still top. Does not have a turbocharger, but LED headlights, which are known to be expensive in the repair. Suppose all (annual) inspections were made, should you access here after a check at the Dekra or can there be many repairs to me? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

  • F12, interior lighting and exit lights retrofit LED (original?)

    My 650ix convertible from 2013 has still installed old lights. If the lights have been converted to LED technology or if the latest F12s have also installed conventional light bulbs. I don’t like that at all, I can of course buy something on the free market, but would prefer a BMW solution (if there are any).
