Moin! My 2.5DTI stands on 235/45 Pirellis with 17″ aluminium. I find that very chic.. but never had chosen it so much because it was too expensive. It was all about it. Now it is clear: the 15″ steel rims from the predecessor omega would fit. At least the tyre dealer says where they are stored. Now I planned as winter shoeing: 195/65 “house brand” on the old 15″ steel rims with new Opel rim covers. Although the optics was never really important to me (I am already married and also have a healthy self-confidence): What do you think? Does this look reasonable? How do the smaller rims and narrower tires in the big wheelhouses look like? I mostly drive around Hamburg in the typical northern German muddy weather with little snow. The Alps will probably never see my car. Are narrow tires advantageous here? Does something (technically) speak for throwing away the steel rims and buying aluminums for the winter? Just asked at the FOH: A set of original de ckel costs EUR 60,00. The seasonal tyre change on the existing aluminium wheels is not possible for me. Any hint is welcome. After all, this should be the optimal solution for the next 4 years. mHF

TSI 190 hp vs. 245 hp in everyday use
Hello, has any of you driven both engines once and can say what the comparison looks like in everyday life? Do you notice the additional hp and nM clearly or is the power reserve just bigger with the 245 hp engine? Is there with the 245 hp engine also this “thinking customer” at the DSG, which was described in some videos of the 190 hp model when starting? Of course answers to such questions are always subjective, that is clear to me. Test drives are still in front of me. Thanks & Greeting Christian

Tarraco PHEV inspection costs and where to do it?
Hello together, even if probably none had yet to be inspected (according to connect after 30,000KM or 2 years), I would like to know if anyone knows how much it costs? Could be more like a normal gasoline engine or? Because a “normal” petrol engine is also in it, and then still the e-strand, even if this maintenance should be free? And where would you take it? Xenon headlights fall out
Hello all, on my 9-5 Aero (Bj 11/04 MJ 05) everything falls off from time to time the passing light on the driver’s side. When I turn off the light briefly and immediately afterwards everything goes on again. The strange thing is that the problem only appears once in a while. Sometimes it has to turn off and on after one light again and again, another time the light annoys again and again. This is already going on for a few months. At first I thought that the xenon burner will soon give up the mind, but that seems to be n One of you has had a similar problem or someone knows what that might be. Of course I’ve already used the search but there was no one with a similar problem. Thanks for your help.

Oil consumption 9-5 2,3 T
Hello, I drive my 4th Saab- currently a 9-5 2.3 T Bauj. 2005. The engine has 210 000 km. Before about 15000 km the control chain was torn, but could be repaired. The engine needs on 1.000 km about 1 liter engine oil. According to my dealer’s recommendation a new turbocharger was installed. No improvement. Before about 5 000 km the oil tank was cleaned which would not have been necessary: no oil sludge. When the engine starts cold there is a huge oil cloud. is there no oil wool at the start. So there seems to be something where oil in… (that’s the question) leaks over a long period of time. Does anyone have a suggestion what else I could do. Spark plug image is very good. (Measuring compression?)

Strange sound at right curves
It’s me again, it’s about a quiet noise that occurs with right curves. I mean it comes from the back right. It sounds like you blow against the opening of a bottle, so practically like a pan flute making music with a bottle. I think it’s quite good. It’s a relatively dark tone. I might also mean a certain, not very high-frequency, squeaking as a subtone. What might that be? Thanks in advance!
