Hello community, a friend recommended this forum to me, because you would always get competent answers here – so I just try it and turn to you with a problem, which really bothers me at the moment… A few weeks ago my Audi was broken up in an underground garage – the Navi was stolen. Only the strippings hang where the Navi was before (Audi Navi plus). Other things were not stolen. Burglary tracks not visible! Advertisement made to the police – Police officer looked at the car, no burglary tracks – however (O-Ton): nowadays totally usual. Notification of the damage case with the insurance on the same evening: Statement there that everything was no problem, I should contact the Select workshop. Said, done. The workshop manager photographed everything and gave his estimate to the insurance. Some time later a reviewer of the Dekra called, he wanted to check my car for burglary tracks on behalf of the insurance company He came, he documented everything, no traces of burglary (also here: totally usual nowadays). Now came the report of the insurance: because no traces of burglary exist, nothing is paid at all. Previously there was always talk of time value (always). What do? According to Google there were some cases, where insurances had to pay after all and also not only time value, but new price, because no used market for Navis is there (no serious one). I haven’t heard that yet and according to my documents, a Navi is also listed in the terms of the contract under the insured parts. Who can give me advice on what to do? Do you have any chances in a lawsuit? I’ve been insured there with two cars and various other insurance companies and never had any damage. And now this… I would like to thank you in advance for your help! Greeting, Jürgen

cheap first car with fun (search for the needle in the haystack )
As already written in the title, I am looking for an impossible findable car. To my person, I am currently 17 have my BF17 ticket and want to buy my own car at 18, and thus drive daily to school (20km), to sports and to my mini job. Therefore, the car will be mostly moved in the city or on federal roads. I therefore expect an annual distance of 5000-10000km Since as a student you have not so much money are maintenance us acquisition cost releva The purchase of the car should be as low as 2000€ and when it comes to maintenance I do not have a fixed sum, however, should keep it within limits. That’s how the classics that everyone drives and thus are expensive in the insurance are out. What the car should have: – enough space for a ca. 2m driver – a good compromise of power and consumption ( performance I would like about 100hp ) – a design what I like – as I said, giünsitger maintenance – ABS un d Servo cars that I have in mind so far: Honda Civic EK3/MB3 (because of the VTEC-E engine, which needs about 6l at low threshold) Generally the Japanese should be relatively reliable and cheap in maintenance, however the car is already quite old ( danger of repair costs ?). I find the newer Civics relatively ugly up to the 10th generation. But maybe one of you still has a secret tip. Thanks already in advance, I know that the search will be extremely difficult u and there is no car that consumes nothing, has a lot of power and costs nothing, but I would like to find the best possible compromise for me.

Search large, reliable combo under 4000€
Hello together, since my Passat B5 has given up some time ago due to engine damage, I am currently looking for a new car. The most important criterion is the size. Since I often want to use the car to go to Holland for windsurfing, I need to have both the possibility to fix the boards on the roof and to have enough space in the trunk. The Passat was fine there of the size, but would not have I probably drive around 15,000 km a year, but I don’t have anything against a diesel because of the current discussions. The possible driving bans would not deter me. I consider it particularly important that I don’t have to go all the way into the workshop with the car. I want to have a solid car, which is always loyal to me. Of course, I am aware that you can only look at a used car in front of your head, but there are j a with every model so its pitfalls. So far I have especially considered the Ford Mondeo MK3 because it has a good price-performance ratio to offer from my point of view. Or am I wrong? I was actually satisfied with the passat, however, comparable passes always seem to be significantly more expensive than the Mondeos. In addition, on the German roads you see Toyota Avensis relatively often. Can you tell me something about it? Are there other cars that I see in every case? If it’s important: from time to time I drive to Holland with a smaller caravan, if you get the stress-free pull, that would be nice-to-have. Thank you in advance for your answers.

Cabrio for my daughter
Hello Forenuser, I have signed up because I hope for new inputs here. I am not a car enthusiast and therefore my knowledge in this matter is very limited. I promised my daughter (20J) to give her a convertible if she creates or achieves certain things. She has now actually successfully mastered this and thus I am willing to fulfill my promise. She absolutely wants a Porsche Boxster convertible. My wife and I have however thought, vo She has only gained driving experience with my Espace and the Fiat 500 of my wife. She doesn’t like cars like BMW Z4, Mercedes SLK, Audi TT, Mini Cabrio or Fiat 500. Would you like any other suggestions? Prerequisites: convertible, new car, gasoline – if possible not too much performance and good safety equipment. h do not have on the screen. lg Herbert

Legal question Car purchase, change of order
Hello together, I have a legal question regarding a car purchase agreement and hope someone here knows about the legal framework. It revolves around a new car from the VAG Group. The vehicle was ordered in a configuration 2-3 weeks later the order confirmation came into the house on a Saturday. It was determined that I better take an option to do so. I sent an email directly to the car dealership that this option still reorders on the next working day we On Monday I was already told that the vehicle is already in production and can no longer be changed… supposedly special position that the delivery time is lower. I wanted to have the option retrofitted now unfortunately this is not so easy and would cost several thousand euros with new parts. In the configurator it would not have been 300. Now the question arises me can I make a little legal claim here?!?! For me it looks as if I had the support agskonfirmation received too late. I had already ordered a few new cars and always was after receipt of the order confirmation certain one week time to stop changes. Ask me now whether I should go to the lawyer or whether the whole thing is not worth time. Legal protection insurance is available. Does someone know about the legal framework? Thanks in advance.

Working family cars
A new vehicle is being sought for the second quarter, when I choose to do something difficult, because I actually want to have a mixture of different vehicles. To the requirements: Luggage compartment for prams and/or work equipment (including folding ladder, wheel, measuring tape, chalk etc.) Diesel, automatic, PS performance likes a little more, the vehicle is mainly moved on highway 80%, rural road 15%, within places 5%, annual driving power 30,000km and more. Navi, Bluetooth, like Andro id car for Spotify cruise control from max. 30 kmh (regrettably adaptive) Good light, i.e. Xenon, LED. Anh. clutch El. foldable exterior mirror Blp 40,000€, need to be controlled less than 50km. I previously drove the Scenic 3, would like to take with me also the new four adults and a group 0 child seat, even better four adults and two child seats, group 0 & 3. Previous favourites: Citroën Grand C4 Picasso, 150 HDi Automatik Opel Zafira, 170 HP Automatik, Busines s Innovation As normal cars Opel Astra K, 136 hp automatic, innovation Skoda Octavia, 150 hp automatic, e.g. Drive Seat Leon, 150 & 184 hp automatic, exclusive But with the cars I am quite sure that no three can ride behind it. Is there any vehicle that can be recommended especially, there are still good alternatives? From the place I find the Citroën good, the Opel has the better light for it, should drive more agile… Besides, the vehicle should not be much bigger The new Scenic is already mm of work in width.

Does a used car with 80-90tkm always buy an almost broken turbocharger?
Hello, I looked at a used car, whose turbo and injectors were replaced the other day. The seller took this as a captivating argument, because I would never know when it will catch me with a car with this mileage. Quickly you get rid of 3000€. Does it exaggerate? Of course, you never know how the car was driven before, whether the oil intervals were perfectly maintained etc. I spent about 1000€ before for a van (diesel) with 70-90tkm, from BJ 2012. So far came a n Mazda 5, Ford Grand-Cmax or Toyota Verso consider, possibly the Caddy, but you should not take VW…

Diesel or gasoline, which brand. So many questions
Hello all together in the forum, first post from me. So I want to buy a car: – 3000 – 4000 Euro. If there is also more but then I have to work even longer (need until March a new car) – long distance suitable (tempomat, seat heating, quiet running, quiet inside) – so at least 130 HP more always goes – combo would be nice but Limusine is also net bad What I have looked at so far and I like: Ford Mondeo 2,2 TDCI with 155 HP Ford Focus 2,0 TDCI 136 HP VW Pass at 1,9TDI 3GB BMW E46 330i or D Audi A4 with the 2.5TDI Can one exclude anything or what supplement? Are the vehicles solid? And what is this like with diesel? They drive much more pleasantly on long distances because of consumption but are they still worth it? Since more taxes, insurance, turbochargers other units are replaced at the mileage also I will soon no longer come to Munich? On the other hand you can take e.g. a BMW 330 i with more than 200,000 KM still there Gasoline engines don’t last that long? Thank you for all the answers in advance

Door panel and leather seat damaged by glass splinters
Three years ago, my car got an exfoliation through a grass trimmer. Stones were thrown against my car, so that the paint was damaged and the driver’s side window was broken. Although the side pane was broken into small pieces, these were still hung together in large pieces and then fell onto the door panel and my leather seat. The door panel (shocks in the plastic) and the leather seat cover (several cuts in the upper surface of the seat) were added. he) damaged. Now to the ingenuity problem: The insurance of the affected company could have simply paid.. But it did not. Now the thing is already 3 years in court. And to my disadvantage there are now already 2 expert reports, which literally say: “One glass safety glass decays into small pieces, which have no sharp cutting edges and thus can not have caused any damage to my door panel or on my leather equipment.” I’m sure that in several similar situations the interior fittings of cars were damaged by the splinter pieces of one-panel safety glass. Does anyone happen to have a good tip for me? What can I do now?? If I don’t soon think of something useful, I’ll have to live with the fact that I have “thought out” the damage and stay at the expense. I’m for ever Thank you for your help!!!! LG Jan

Insurance does not pay everything in case of accident abroad
The following has happened: A German caused an accident with her vehicle registered in D in Switzerland due to several traffic violations in a row, which were documented by police, and damaged 3 vehicles, a house and a garden fence. Everything is documented by police, the driver loses the driver’s card on the spot, acknowledges her guilt and signs the protocol accordingly and there comes days later also an expert of the insurance and sees the The insurance company then writes to the individual injured persons and informs them that due to the large cost difference between CH and D and the unproven sole debt of the insured persons, only a maximum of 50% of the damage is paid, without VAT, this would correspond to the amounts due in D for this damage. The damage to the building is not paid at all since there was still repaired on the same day (window, door and wall were defective, -21°C except The accident was a steep, narrow mountain road, slightly covered with snow and ice, slight snowfall, -20°C, the driver has driven down the mountain. Traffic violations according to police protocol: -Do not control the Fzg -Inappropriate speed -Inappropriate equipment of the Fzg (winter tires 12 years and below) b Minimum profile depth, Fzg but only 5 years, the tires it allegedly bought only in the bay) -Grobe disregard of the pre-accession rules (who drove up the mountain has advanced) The driver’s pass was confiscated on the spot and a 4 digit security service had to be paid, the car was no longer mobile anyway. Accident: The lady descends the narrow, steep and curvy mountain road and, despite visible oncoming traffic, does not stop in the stop bay on her side at son who drives at high speed (allegedly it has slipped), hits the first car in the oncoming traffic side-frontal, slips away sideways, hits 2 parked vehicles, then slips through the garden fence against the house and comes there only in the house entrance door to stand. So really massively too fast for the weather.
