  • 225 instead of 235 – registration required?

Hello together, I have a few new 225/45 R17 Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 2 in my garage. Mounted on original Audi rims TN 8e0601025as8z8http://www.original-felgen.com/8e0601025as8z8.html Now I would like to drive them on my A4. Since the COC papers only indicate the tyre size 235/45 R17, I have contacted Goodyear if they release the tyres for my car and get the attached document. As I see this is no problem for Goodyear. My Fra ge, do I have to register the tyre size separately with the TÜV? Would that be an individual acceptance, what would that cost me about? Thank you for your help! PS: Incidentally, can recommend the tyre without restriction

  • Year-round tyres or summer tyres in winter?

Hello guys, I can’t decide. I made the mistake of equipping my Audi A6 4B 2.4 with all-year tires (Goodyear Eagle Vector+). They were down at some point and I didn’t know how long I was driving the car (Bj 2001, 185,000km), so I bought the same one again. They’re down now and I have to decide: 1) Do I take a proper Continental summer tire and drive it in the winter? I don’t know how the grip is. 2) Do I take a tyre? the other GJR from Hankook (Optimo4s) and hope that the one is better than the much-praised Goodyear? 3) Do I take another set of Goodyear? The option Winter tires fall away for me, because I would now pay 550 euros (205 he, index V) and in March 550 for SR again and the car would probably sell in 1.5 years and would have put the 1000 euros more or less into the sand. I get the car 8 times tyres not better or more expensive than sold with GJR on it. The decision f It’s hard for me, because I was never completely satisfied with my GJR. Although this applies ONLY to the areas of rain/wet/snow mud, but it’s bothering there. At high speed beyond the 200, the tires summer and winter are really good. I’ve been driving it for 5 years without an accident. So what do you think: a) Will the Hankook be better than the GY? b) Or will the summer tire be the best solution? Or is that in the case of snow undriving? I know, seasonal tyres are better, I see it as well. even as a mistake that I took the GJR back then, but I want to drive the car for 1.5 max. 2.5 years.

  • Simply replace tires or better two sets of rims?

I have an imported vehicle with 235/65R17 tyres on 17×6.5JJ rims. On the rims are still all-year tires, which I definitely want to replace through winter tires. I wanted to raise the all-year tires in the following summers until they left, and then switch to summer tires. Since I have only one set of rims, I would like to know from the community whether it is generally bad for the tires if they are always on and off again. It is advisable to buy a second set of rims, so that when changing winter/summer or summer/winter, only the wheels have to be replaced? If you generally have no concerns to keep removing the tyres from the rims, I prefer to stay with a set of rims. By the way, they are stink normal tires, not runflats or something like that. The original rims are not available in Germany.

  • Other SF class after change of vehicle insurance

Hello MTler, I had cancelled my old car insurance and of course I was looking for another cheaper insurance. I was in 2008 in the SF 2, so from 01.01.09 I would be in the SF 3. As far as everything was good, but today I got a post-payment request of the new insurance with the change of the contribution rate and a classification in the SF 1 class. Furthermore it says “change of the contribution class according to pre-insurance”. ts in the SF 2 all year round. I’ve never had any damage to the vehicle or anything else with my car insurance. What do you say?

  • Merchants don’t want to accept short-term labels.

Hello! I and my husband would like to get us a new car, have already made our choice and called the dealer. Financing everything ok. Now it is so that the dealer is about 400km far away. We, I and my husband had presented this now so, we get short-term license plates, drive with these to the car and should everything be ok, we wanted to take the car with us and the dealer should send the letter to our registration office so that we can register it. the dealer does not, since short-term registration marks are insured only liability and then something should happen, who then gets up for the damage to the car. His statement. The dealer wants us to look at the car, who we want the car to take the vehicle letter, register the car with us and then drive back to the dealer with the registration plates and the car and return the letter. He does not give out both letter and car, because financing, and he gets no money who the dealer I don’t want to go to the bank. Okay, I can understand. Are there alternatives? I don’t want to drive the 2 times.

  • Payment by accident

Hello people, now I also got caught ma. Had on 04.12.08 the accident with my Astra, but not self-inflicted. I got one into the side and ruined the whole passenger side. After a long time back and forth the opposing insurance offered me to pay my damage “in the scope of its entry obligation “. This was on 17.12.08 after that I did not hear anything of them even on written requests. On 04.02.09 I got then Finally a call that send me for the 05.02.09 an expert, which also came. He determined a damage in the amount between 1800 and 2500 euro. I have not yet the exact report. But it is certain that it is an economic total damage. This morning I got again the letter from the opposing insurance, that the report was received by them on 07.02.09 and they will now calculate on the basis of the report and pay me the damage. • Better not Allianz24 -insured

In October 2008, on the basis of an Internet calculation of chek24 with Allianz24, I signed a contract for a car liability insurance. “Sit back relaxed”, said the friendly representative at the end of the management, we canceled the current insurers. On 28.10.2008 an e-mail arrived at my office, please announce the pre-insurer lateesatens until 30.10.2008. However, I only opened this mail on 1.11.2008. So literally 10 before 12 still by fax at the direct line She didn’t want to accept the termination because late. I: Various lawyers in who-weis-was scrutinized: result, the termination must be accepted, the 30.11. was a Sunday. The alliance sent me a contract for a xx-xx139 and a xx-xx13, the latter does not exist with me. At the same time exactly on the cent 2 times the same amount was debited. I call there, declare the error. For minutes I was taught in the school master manner and without insight, I have concluded two contracts. So I canceled the full amount (other than the bank) and transferred the correct individual amount again, that was on 2.1.2009. On 10.1.2009 I get the right amount refunded, at the same time I find a message about not redeeming a direct debit with clear indications of consequences for me. Now they want to debit the “right” amount again. I don’t have a good feeling about it.

  • Transit year 2007 – Klappern front axle when springing

Hello, I am the owner of a transit year 2007 (130T350, front drive) and have for some time been having problems with noises from the front axle (especially right). When the springing is made, sounds sound metallic (and supposedly as if relatively massive metal parts meet each other). The special problem here: these noises do not always arise, but only with very special unevenness – these must apparently be made to a relatively fast end. The amplitude does not seem to be really important here – the flapping does not occur with simple, deep holes, when crossing curbs, cobblestones or on asphalt with frost damage the noises are quite penetrating. Especially these noises occur in the inverted state (only to the right). The control of the front axle – or steering area by now 2 workshops and once at Dekra did not result in any defects or defects. Game – so there’s a little bit of perplexity. Who has the same problem or even better the solution for it? Would be great if someone could help me

  • Connect rear windscreen wiper + ZV

#1 Hechscheibenwischer Have the problem that both rear windscreen wipers do not move. However, I hear clearly the relay work. Is there a fuse that may be damaged? Both wipers also stand obliquely so not exactly as it should be. —- #2 ZV The ZV is also such a problem, sometimes it goes and works, and sometimes it seems to work, however, then the driver’s door remains open. I had seen the blinking but only once, only then was the driver’s door open again and all the others closed. Maybe someone has a similar or similar problem and knows the solution???

  • ’95 Transit without pre-agglomeration

Salü, I have a tiny problem with my Tranit BJ 95 2.5l diesel (76 hp). And it does not start in cold weather, it was last year (winter 11-12) about 3 weeks and this year I again had problems with the start in cold weather. First I tried with the start pilot, this worked for a whole time, and at some point even this did not work. In the meantime, the “fear” had spread to me that my transit did not have an incandescent system. r the forum looked for pictures through where the flame candle is sitting and found one, looked at me in the car if I found something there, was still insecure to me and then at some point I took pictures and sent them to an acquaintance (which is a car mechanic). He sent me a photo where the flame candle or intake manifold preheating should be, I looked and was unsure. Today I drove then still to the workshop and asked there if they could look in. haniker thought that there was no annealing system and on the question whether one could retrofit such a thing he meant I should ask Ford. Now my little question: Can one retrofit a flame candle/light candles/inlet manifold preheating and with what cost do I have to reckon about?? Would I be very happy about help and if necessary I can also post one-two pictures from the engine. Greetings from France muste PS: If anyone has a crank for the spare wheel lying around, I take they like, because have none or was unfortunately not available when buying the vehicle (just like the operating instructions, because I am also happy about it )
