since the currently mounted all-weather tyres have to be replaced slowly, I wanted to do this before the winter. at the moment goodyear vector3 are on it, in the dimension 155/80R13 79T. we were satisfied with the mature, so I wanted to take the successor goodyear vector 4seasons. then unfortunately the problem starts…I entered the dimensions at atu and then also at goodyear directly. there is obviously no mature in this dimension in general there is no goodyear all-weather tires more in this dimension (also no winter tires…only summer tires). now I would be happy about a few recommendations/experiences regarding other brands. maybe even jmd has a very good all-weather tire with 155/80R13. best also where I get the best from…have always been bought and installed at atu (for matures it is possible), but there is no one with 155/80R13

Magma Alu rims don’t fit–lt. But opinions do???
Moin, have the following problem: Had bought me new 16 ZOLL Magma Celsio winter tyres. The rims were on an Audi TT 8J9 !!! The tires are 225/55 R16 99 H extra load…so ok!! The Magma rims are 7x 16 ET 45 5x 112 KBA 47264 Lt expert opinion also allowed for 4f!! http://berichte.bmf-application.com/…/…33-05~au-5-112-57-et45.pdf Now I saw at the front when I changed, that the rims would scratch on the caliper and grind the “weights” on it… Now my question: fit n now the rims DO NOT need for my A6 4f (C6) 2.7 he tdi or is it due to the growth/lead weights?? or are 7.5 x 16 needed??? thank you for your answer/help PS: If someone is looking for TT Alus winter tires…and A6 has winter soaps, it would also be possible to exchange ;o) pictures on request.

remodeling corvette c4 to carburettor with compressor
Hello I missed some time ago my vette a completely overhauled 350 4bolt engine for it was also an overhauled supercharger installed by the company pro-charger as carburetor have recommended me the amis a Demon 650 Mighti now we come to my problem the engine runs in stand until 2000 revolutions super the fitting valve is connected to permanent vacuum and works well is open in stand gas and closes with increasing speed so the system the charging pressure of about 0.6 ba r can build up until then I understand the history of the carburettor still has a vacuum connection which according to the description vacuum instrumentl calls itself now the question is connected here the hei distributor with a vacuum can or does it at all with such a distributor because somehow he must go in early ignition with the permanent vacuum connection at which also the fitting valve is connected it doesn’t go there he starts to become reversing is yes somewhere clear because the vacuum is losing and slowly the charge pressure is building up so people can help me or I need another distributor where is the hook I want to finally enjoy v8 again mfg

Cadillac Seville 1998-2004, Intermediate Shaft
Yesterday I had a visit from a Seville driver who complained about the “comic” steering and snares and cracks in it. He had already been missed by the dealer a new steering gear, a new servo and new belts at the price of loose 1800 Euros… When I looked more closely at the joints of the Intermediate Shaft (connection of steering column and steering gear with 2 joints and a telescopic connection in between), it was noticeable that they were really dust-dry. – some smart guy probably cleaned the parts and sprayed them with WD40 or something like that. NO – this is definitely not the right way! So I removed the part, cleaned it and really brutally smeared it with machine grease (intentionally no special grease due to creeping properties) and see – no cracking and snoring, steering is not as bony anymore, but really full and soft and the cracking when braking is also gone. It should be 150. Maybe you should also tell the workshop that they need a full nut for the expansion… So dear Seville driver – at least every 50,000 km the joints are provided with real grease! All 120,000 km I would expand the part to make a reasonable cleaning and to grease the telescope. If possible, you have to replace it because of the game – but that’s what the TÜV says. but, the steering gear has game – is definitely very, very rare and only at running speeds beyond the 250 tkm so – or it was a pure parking vehicle… So far I have only replaced a steering gear (too much work…), but only because the internal sensor was defective and you can not exchange it individually.

Backfire Chevy G20 5.7
Hello, which causes can the backfire have with short load changes at the Chevy TBI? Ignition is correctly set up, TPS too. Vaccum hoses are all new. WHEN you ride gently everything goes only when you give stronger gas it starts to spin and there is backfire, just as if you give short gas shocks in the stand. Thanks for the help.

Euro 6 – Gasoline without OPF vs Diesel with DPF and AdBlue – what’s clean? What gets driving bans?
Hello, since we currently want to buy a car, we also deal very much with the topic of petrol vs. diesel. Since it becomes a used car, these used cars all fall into the range 2015 to 2018. At that time were relevant Euro 6b and 6c. In the narrow selection therefore a gasoline with direct injection and without OPF, i.e. a passat with 1.4 and without OPF. Later the passat got an OPF to meet Euro 6d. In the selection is also a diesel with DPF and SCR-K At, i.e. with AdBlue. So a later 2017er or earlier 2018er Passat, which was later certified according to 6d at the same time. But the vehicle just not yet and after-certifications will probably not exist. Since we also want to use the car for vacations, I have made some sense about the various driving bans in Europe. I noticed especially France (Crit Air). Among other things it is that the Euro 6 Diesel (even 6d) would get a badge 2. The Euro 6 B enziner (also 6b or 6c) without OPF would get a badge 1. It is known that Paris, but later also other cities and regions/regions (!?), plans to lock everything out under worse than 1. 0 would be eAuto. Then Euro 5 and Euro 6 petrolers would be allowed, but no more diesel – also not 6d diesel. My vehicle-technical question – that’s what this is about: Is a Euro6 diesel with DPF and with AdBlue not cleaner than a Euro6 direct injection gasoline OH NE OPF? Or why are Euro 6 diesel with DPF and SCR-Kat (AdBlue) locked out in France (soon) but not Euro 6 gasoline with direct injection without OPF? Or do I see this wrong, i.e. a gasoline with direct injection is nevertheless cleaner than a diesel with DPF and SCR-Kat? Would you like to answer the question in general, or if specific data are available: – VW 1.4 TSI with 150 hp without OPF (doesn’t have to be passat, the engine was installed in the complete model range) – VW 1.5 TS I with 150 hp with OPF – VW 2.0 TDI with DPF and SCR (was there also without SCR/AdBlue; in my case it is about a vehicle with SCR/AdBlue) How do the 3 motors compare in real operation with fine dust? (nitrogen oxides should not be a problem with all three, right?)

Water in motor oil
Hey, long history. In my car about 1.5 liters of normal water were accidentally tipped into the engine. The car was driven a few kilometers after that. I immediately carried out an oil change with a new filter and gave Wagner Motor Cleaner into the fresh oil. I then let the engine run for an hour in the stand. In the stand it ran quietly, but during the ride it came to some jerkers. Afterwards I carried out another oil change with filter. I still see mud-like oil on the lid. It has become less, but not completely dissolved, and there is probably still water in the engine. Is there another chemical that I can use at the next oil change to remove the water completely from the engine? An engine cleaning in the workshop is unfortunately not in question for me due to the high costs. I thank you in advance.
