Hello dear members, I would be very pleased about your experiences, opinions and tips. My questions: 1. Is it worth doing a Skoda Scala, an underbody protection including cavities, right after the new purchase? That saves a cleaning, since there is no dirt yet. And this alone should probably cost 500-150€. 2. Do you have tips for Aachen/Cologne surroundings? Where did you have it done and for how much? Why am I interested in the topic? Because I like to drive it to the bitter end n would like and hope that with the right care from the beginning, it lasts longer Thank you!

Ford’s reply on “BIOSPRIT E10”
Hello guys, there will be the new fuel “BIOSPRIT E10” from next year. I have made a request to FORD to make sure that I can drive this fuel in my Essi. Here is the answer from FORD:Dear Mr. XXX, thank you for your email. All models of the brand Ford are, except for the Mondeo SCi with 1.8l, 96kW (130hp), suitable for operation with E10 fuels. It is therefore possible to use these new fuels without any problems. Ten-accuracy of Young- and Oldtimers recommends Ford to refuel the fuel 98 ROZ or even 100 ROZ, in order to avoid possible minor residual risks.Among the Ford vehicles, therefore, only the Ford Mondeo SCi, which was produced by 2006 can not be operated with E10. However, there is the possibility to refuel with Super Plus (ROZ 98), which also contains a maximum 5% incorporation of ethanol in the next few years. We always give you a “good trip”. Still value to set up? Audi Cabrio
Hello municipality, I am facing a very difficult decision. I had a short time ago a front damage to my convertible. My grandma disassembled my bumper and my fender with your car. So now I was with the paintmaker today and he told me that it can’t find this paint any more because this is a special varnish. Now he has made me an offer, He would paint my cab in RS4 Monanza red (now color is also red) for about 2000€ if however I dismantle everything. Technical data: Audi Cabrio Year of manufacture 1993 5-cylinder NG KM-Stand: 105 000 km A year ago, a new top, new rims, new chassis were installed. Climate, automatic, electric hydraulic cover, In laborious work, a large light pack was installed, as well as a very precisely tuned sound system would be installed for 3000 €. (Have spent 3 days setting until the sound was perfect 😉 ) Now it’s just such a funny feeling in the belly, repainting, and then straighten up further, i.e. Recardo sports seats, convertible facelift bumper, etc. Or sell battles and into individual parts? (But what would that hurt for me) Greeting Hermann

Duplex exhaust on the B3
Hello people I have a duplex sports exhaust to build on my Audi 80 B3. I have already found some, but my problem is that the ones I found are all from 1.8. I have a 1.6 with 51KW. My question is: Is there a duplex sports exhaust for the 1.6? Would it be possible to have the duplex ESDs or systems that are from 1.8 on registered for my 1.6? MFG

BN-Pipes or Fox for the 5 cylinder NG ??
Hi Leutz, for an Audi 90 front-driver (MKB:NG) a half-system from Kat. Sound-wise the BN-pipes would be my first choice. However, I don’t like the end-tube optics at all. Actually wanted 2 X 76mm tailpieces to remain in a same-body end-tube diameter. Is the wrong car but I wanted the optics like this: http://fox.he-webpack.de/…/product_info.php?… At the BN only a 60mm tube goes out which is then enlarged. Is that the same with the Fox???? Today I telephoned with BN-Pipes.Unfortunately, nothing can be changed at the end tube optics (i.e. diameter). I would have taken a pity otherwise. So I’m really thinking now. Sound or optics………… What do you mean???…. PS: Maybe jmd have a few photos of the Audi 90 that have installed a BN-Pipes or a FOX-system???

Smoke
After my RRE, BJ 01/16, since last week finally no longer shows its motor warning lamp (exchange of AGR valve and cooler), I had the following problem today on the way home: After about 30km of highway to a traffic jam, then my fat guy starts to smoke and smell powerfully at the front right side. Also through the ventilation the smoke came in. It was hard to see where it came from. Had the feeling rather, from the wheel, but could not after a few hundred meters, first to the right, where there was space, got out, bonnet on …. But unfortunately not really anything can be noticed. Neither “rest smoke” in the engine compartment, nor from the bike. This was also not particularly warm or rusty or similar engine compartment was clean, what I could see from above. There were no warning messages either. I waited for 10 minutes and left again – everything was normal again. I don’t know what that was. Stupid is just, I have to have Son ntag to the airport, >100km … and I feel a bit insecure. Someone has had something similar or a hint?? I found nothing in search of fast. Thanks already! Greetings, Urmel

Battery Management System 2016
Hello, since my Evoque is in the garage several times three weeks, it hangs at this time on a Ctek loader. Connected is the one directly to the battery. Recently I read that the BMS is sitting at the minus pole and you should not really go to battery minus, sond to vehicle mass, so that the BMS gets the charging also. Today I looked to connect the charging cable and the BMS is definitely sitting at the plus pole at my. Does anyone have an idea whether the loader d irekt on the battery can have any negative influence on the BMS? (to be connected to plus before the BMS, lack of accessibility, be relatively laborious).

PHEV Evoque P300e Hybrid Loading-Consumption-Experience-Quick Charge
Due to the numerous P300e drivers, I would like to create a new thread, in which it is about measured, real consumption electricity/petrol. With experience to the charging AC/DC gladly with driving profiles to a comparable picture. I gladly start: the last days the partial streamer was sent to his first longer stage. Landstrasse, Italian city center and highway with 10min full throttle (more than 205 to Tacho were not included). The measured consumption was 3,82kwh and 6,68l E10 to 100km That’s what I expected and am satisfied with it. Loading was at the hotel at the 22KW AC loader, the small thickness moved there according to charging protocol the same as at the domestic 11KW wallbox (charging times as with just under 4kw single-phase) On the highway a bit was sneezed at the Ionity quick loader. The car can load according to brochure with up to 32KW DC. Plugged was loaded at 8% Restaccu 8.5kwh in 2 9minutes. Accuendstand 91% (somehow I expected a little more) The Ionity box could load with a maximum of 26kw….either Accu too warm or the thickness is blocked. Was at first completely alone, then a Porsche Tycan driver joined, nice conversation and envy on his 157kw which he tilted in (by the way they got the driving noise loudspeaker sound really great like a 911 only significantly quieter)
