  • TÜV 2 months extend / delay!?

Hello I have an important question: I was at the TÜV this month and failed! I decided to request the scrapping premium and finally to take a new car. Was already at the dealer and the new car is ordered. BUT, it takes 8 weeks until the new car is there. TÜV expires at the end of February. How can I bridge the two months? If I just cover the TÜV, the insurance protection is going to be fluted to me? n 15 Euro or? Or, can I go back to a different TÜV on February 28th, because again fail and then have four weeks to fix the car again. Or can I DEFINITIV not drive any more when the badge has expired with February. If someone knows about it, would be very grateful about Tips. Thanks in advance, greeting, Michael

  • R230: Exhaust change for nicer sound

Hello to all SL drivers, I want to hear my SL600 a little bit more and a little nicer. Does anyone have experience with another exhaust system? There are several suppliers, but no one has a sound file to listen to. I want to listen to deeper/bassier, but not loud – just a little more presence. What is the quality and fit accuracy of the alternative systems? (I don’t want the body to be worked around.) uspuff systems that can be turned louder and quieter at the push of a button. Is there something similar for the R230? Last question: Are there any problems with the DC warranty if you change something on the exhaust? Thanks in advance.

  • Which car garage (hail protection/snow protection) is recommended?

Hello! I get my new car in December. A Renault ZOE (electric!) which will get a place in a shelter, but it is not closed. This means that dirt particles and pollen etc. can pass through, only rain etc… Since the vehicle stands 2-3 days a week, and I know that of my (so far always black) cars, that then the whole pollen and dirt “gathers on the paint” (you know what I mean) I decided to do it, d I don’t want to pull down such a “up to the hold of the vehicle” – part. I want the whole car to be nicely “packed” down to the bottom (or to the tires). Price is not so important, it has to be good (good, soft lining inside maybe, polish-friendly). It also doesn’t matter if the part is slightly larger than the car itself. The Zoe has the following dimensions: Length: 4.085 mm Width: 1.730 mm Height: 1.562 mm LG

  • Economical, powerful, long-lasting car

Hello, I’ve already read a piece of it, but I don’t know how to make a decision. That’s why I wanted to ask you for forum help. I’m currently driving a Skoda Octavia 1,8Tsi. This one is great from the driving characteristics. The 160Ps are good enough to move forward quickly. The size is great, only the consumption and the fuel costs are too high. That’s why I had it converted to gas some time ago. After which I had some problems selling I am currently driving about 30000 – 35000 km a year and am now looking for something with similar performance. I already had a passat, Audi A4, and others with the 170hp diesel VW engines. However, I have read that the many problems have with cracked in the engine and other products…. So it went on to BMW E90. There are 163ps engine dolle Turbo problems and the 177hp engine, which has promised me the most so far, has problem with a grinding steering chain. Everything expensive and long when something happens. So what kind of car can I get without hesitation? Price should not cost more than 1200€. I thank you for your help and suggestions. Mfg

  • 407 coupe

Hello together, who has already had experiences with the 407 coupe? Eugle so that I buy one. In any case it should be a gasoline and circuit, 165 Ps. That’s enough for me. My question, the sodas are if I don’t deceive myself, a little too early “susceptible” and on the streets you can see it a little less. How is the 407 coupe? What usual mistakes occur at the 407 coupe? We already know, I am currently driving a 406 coupe. On the streets you can see the 407 coupe also very rare. Conni

  • Question Timing Belt WaPu various seals and thinner tensioning roller

Moin, wanted to do the timing belt at the 2005 1.2er 16V with 75hp. According to many negative reviews from the Gates WaPu/Riemen (belt pulls off the tensioning roller)…I have now ordered a set to compare Ina with it. It is definitely to be seen that the Ina WaPu is in my opinion uncleanly milled on the sealing surfaces in contrast to the Gates WaPu. Can one tell me why the Ina Wapu gaske has no bore on the channel and is made of metal and that of Gates is made of cardboard and has a hole there? I marked it in red. Furthermore, the clamping roll of Gates is actually a bit narrower (see photo) for it made of metal, which plastic from Ina … Which set should I build now??

  • Renault Twingi II – engine stutters, power irregular, ignition failure

Hello everybody, it’s about a Renault Twingo II gasoline engine. Since a few rides it happens again and again that he brings irregular performance when driving. That didn’t occur during every ride. He takes on more, sometimes less gas and the warning lamp electronics lights (see picture in the annex). An acquaintance has recognized ignition dropouts with a reading device. Now the question: What could be the cause?

  • Tank indicator?

Hello, so far I have assumed that the 1.2 liter vw fox petrol fuel displays between each part line are about 6.25 liters. Recently, however, I have observed that the fuel consumption according to the tank display is very low with a constant driving profile (~5.5liter/100km) and only from about half tank filling suddenly rises to about 8 liter/100km and then settles to the value of pretty exactly 7 liters confirmed by the pump. 70-100 kilometers until the needle moves at all times. Strange thing … Has someone observed similar or how many liters corresponds now to the distance between two parts? Ciao Matze
