  • Why isn’t Saab tuning his engines the same as Hirsch-P?

  • Temperature of cooling water and cylinder head

    Who can tell me the temperature range that the cooling water reaches in the 2.2 TiD ? I mean the normal range / the normal temperature when the engine has run well warm. Is there a way to measure the value or to read the measured value from the engine control unit ? The display in the dashboard has no scale and is therefore somewhat inaccurate; a value +-3 degrees on a digital scale would interest me. ar realize an indicator in the SID ? Besides, I want to measure the temperature of the cylinder head . The easiest would probably be the installation of a sensor for a digital termometer . But where ? According to an independent report, which I ordered immediately, the car was worth 2300 euros before the accident and now has a residual value of 800 euros (economic total damage). Now we do not want to sell the car at all, since I will repair the damage myself in the summer (car body pressed in in the rear area, trunk flap closes only with considerable force). In a comparison, if its income situation has improved noticeably in 4 years, the attorney and court costs incurred by you to pay off in installments! If you win, you don’t have to pay anything! Now the question to the experts: WHAT WOULD YOU MAKE IN THIS SITUATION??? 110 0 EURO CASSIERN WHEN YOU WOULD FINALLY PAY, OR TAKE THE 2500 EURO AND ENSURE THE RISK?     Hello, my beloved Passat 35i has to be sent slowly but surely into retirement, because the problems in old age are now increasing. Therefore, I am looking for a successor, who should be just as reliable, as the good old Passat, from which I was already a bit spoiled in this regard. We are looking for a station wagon, which should accompany me reliably over the next (10) years. Due to the annual driving performance of approx. 15000km and before After a little research, I found that a larger station wagon in the direction of Mondeo, C5, Mazda 6 or something like that would probably be quite expensive in the maintenance. The petrol engines are already swallowing a lot due to the size. Therefore, I tend to buy a compact one now and get a trailer for larger transports. I think that would be the more economical choice in the longer term. So we are looking for: Compact station wagon, denno ch spacious, petrol, from c. 2007/2008 with approx. 130tkm to have maybe another 10 years in about fun at the car. I don’t really need a lot of frills, the only thing I would like to have would be the comfort of a seat heating. After a little research the candidates Focus MK2 and Astra H are mentioned again and again, which should probably be very solid. Visually would appeal to me a Octavia II, however, these are rather rare and the motor selection due to the Tsi Gesc Which cars would still be in question?
