Moin, so, since Saturday, our OPC is now equipped with a Prins VSI at the AH Benkel in Beverungen. The yellow nozzles, the turbokit and a 50l tank – which fits in the caravan without further modifications (higher ground). The gas connection is located in the tank flap, exhaust gas inspection etc. everything was finished at pickup. The conversion lasted from Monday to Saturday, apparently went smoothly. The transfer went exactly like the collection with instruction absolutely professional, all F tank demonstration, full fuelling at the expense of the house – the first few hundred kilometers we drove without problems on gas, I report how it goes on. Costed the fun 3410.- €, including car rental. We are so far very satisfied and do not regret to have driven for the conversion 250km. With the vehicle we would probably not have been happy with the requested local retrofitters. Photos come yet. The refueling is now fun again, m ehr Liter wie Euro. Greetings, Thomas

Switching to OCP
Moin, after our annual driving performance has not developed as expected and the thickness has proved to be relatively vulnerable (many small things, turbocharger damage via car warranty, …), I seriously think about an exchange 3.0 CDTI for OPC. The driving fun will be a bit (hush) higher, insurance is at about the same level, the fuel consumption is expected to run out in about 8.5 to 11l. The tax is drastically lower, this is likely to be a part of the extra consumption as well as against my first assumption, can I not continue to use the winter tyres, because of the even larger braking system?! Gas conversion would also be a possibility. Opinions, tips, hints or ideas? Greetings, Thomas

Total failure Please help
Hello dear community, I’m new here and unfortunately bring a big problem with…. My car Saab 9-5 Built 2000 2.3T Limousine suffered from the trunk cable break, which ensures that the tailgate could not open electrically, as was the return light without function. The cables were reasonably extended and insulated -> now the trunk is in full function. The fuse for the return light (15th strength) has flown, this I had replaced. A short time later it is wi now I have the big problem…. BLINKER, SCHEIBENWISHER, ALL FENSTER HEHBER, STECKDOSE 12V, TEMPOMAT and SPIEGEL are without function!! The flashers work on warning flashing light or when open and close only when blinking not…… The car has no error message, all other few consumers work (radio, climate and standing light, dipped light etc…. A new fuse for the return driving lights f but is NOT out anymore and all other fuses are complete (pulled and checked for break) Do I now have a control unit, which is responsible for the components killed? I ask for your help, Google is helpless and I am now too.. … I would like to thank anyone who reads this and can help me Greet Alex

Saab 9-5 LPT cooling water problem?
Hello guys, I am proud owner of a Saab 9-5 2.3 LPT Kombi, BJ 2001 with at the time 197`000km. It is not special equipment, handshifting, and velour seats. Nevertheless, I find the ride comfort and generally the Kombi itself great! I need the Saab daily for the work path, i.e. 40 back and 40km. Live in Switzerland, and also my driving style is rather “quiet” than hectic, should be hot is never really driven over 3-4ts tours, max 140 km/h. Service are from the front I have now made a service again, after exactly 10`000km, incl. oil + filter, all liquids incl. cooling liquid. So far so good. My problem: I drive the car to work, all good, the SID indicates in the CHECK “OK”. Cars park in the morning, in the evening car, and see here, the SID shows “control cooling liquid”. So hood, and the cooling liquid is really about 1cm below r brand, so I bought for the tank, coolant, lid on, and suddenly a rush and bubble and the cooling water is on the mark again! Car started again, SID says, everything OK! I have had this already about 2 -3 times! I see no loss, also no oil in the cooling water, no suspicious smoke developments from the exhaust. The temperature display of the cooling water is always marginal over the middle, but remains there how nailed! Does anyone know the problem? My opinion na The pressure in the system will not “let off”. I’ve already read a lot, could it possibly be the cooling water cover? I’m perplexed, I hope it’s not the ZKD! Thank you for your efforts, gruss KAE

Saab 9-5 (Benzin 2.3t, 2004): Starter runs, but petrol punch does not respond
Good evening on all sides, I have the following problem: The Saab no longer starts. On the last trip the airbag warning light went on. At the same time the display of the air conditioner only indicated a digit on the left and right, and after a while the SID gasped the stored data (shown only three strokes instead of the average consumption). Furthermore, when the flasher was activated, the relay-cracker noise did not sound; but the turn signal itself did at least. The starter reacted, but the engine didn’t jump any more. The battery is new and has enough juice. The called breakdown helper could not do anything; the petrol pump does not supply fuel, but seems to be ok. The control unit could not be read out, the fault memory was empty. If you waited a long time and then tried a start, the engine jumped on briefly and went off immediately; the next attempt he jumped but nic The fan didn’t go out afterwards. The fuses are all ok. A few weeks ago I had start problems and a short-term illuminated airbag warning light as well as the running fan, which once even over the weekend sucked the battery empty. But that went away by itself. I had pushed it to the very cold temperatures… First forum search results indicate the possibility that the crankshaft sensor might be defective; but that’s all. cheaply little obvious… Maybe the ignition cassette? Before it actually ran round… Maybe someone here already had the error picture. Thank you in advance!

Lupo GTI used car purchase
Hello dear community! I have recently informed myself a little bit about the GTI and have also found a quite good offer (as far as I can judge).. the dealer is 5 min. away from me and I inspected the car today, looks so far also quite good 😛 behind at the “skirt” under the trunk handle are easy traces of use to see (but is repaired meant the seller; new shock bar behind etc is attached). utz” on the outside of the door (driver/passenger), which unfortunately caused quite deep scratches in the door frame inside (will also be repaired and repainted)…This is as a kind of edge protection as you can buy from Louis etc. and then have to make hot with the hair dryer and mount on the corresponding edges etc. (you probably know). I think the previous owner has mounted this so that he doesn’t scratch the doors when getting in and out in the garage (that’s why h old in the inside, because the edge protection also brings a certain width with it ) In the inside he also looks good…The previous owner was a customer of this dealer and sorely drove with the car….40 years old the good lady (at least the statement of the dealer). I will take a test drive in 45 min. *joy* I will then drive to a workshop and put the car on the lifting platform and let me say what is not so good and if this really all The mechanic is a well-known one of me. Now I wanted to ask you what you think of this offer! As I said, it looks pretty good in my eyes, maybe there’s something to do at the price…but a second opinion is always better than a 😛 http://www.mobile.de/…/da.pl?… Thanks a lot in advance… Kuch3n

lupo light – not exactly the brightest? or is it?
Hi to all! I noticed that the light at the lupo (my 1.4 tdi) is not very bright and the road does not light up well on the side… a colleague told me that he has built a 100w bulb in his audio…is not allowed,…but the light is much brighter than before and does not control anyone anyway. now I want to ask I can also install a stronger bulb instead of the allowed (I think H4 – 60W bulb) e.g. 100W. something else has to be changed or what m do you agree? thank you for your opinions and tips, gruss, max

VW Lupo vs. other cars ?
Good day, I want to buy a car at the end of October and am looking for something at the moment. Through forums I came to the VW Lupo 3L, which I then found quite great then but on this forum, and then found the many mistakes of the car (often broken). Need the car to drive to school ( 20 km) and to work, so I thought why not buy a economical car? I then read that this car goes quite well with its 61 hp, because it is so easy but worth the Car ? Don’t want to go to the workshop once a year and then have it repaired. That’s why I would like to know it is worth buying a car like this or rather the normal Lupo or Polo, or maybe a golf? Because if I would buy a Lupo ( 80,000-100,000 km), do I still get far away with it? The car shouldn’t take a lot of petrol / diesel, that would be very important for me and it shouldn’t break quickly too. In the Lupo, 4 people fit into it? I haven’t found anything about it yet.
