  • Penalty and points for “legal tuning” (I find)

Hello, I try to catch myself curly. Police had led a check with me (Golf 3TDI ́96 and the following things too wrong (I find) written on the defect card: 1. No reflectors on the rear lights (have green) 2. Exhaust system(Remus “E” marking) 3.Outer mirror(M3 look with “E” marking 4.Tönungsfoil(ABE unfortunately not included) 5.Pedale(From Golf R32, VW does not want to give me the papers because there are only those with the pedals) Small remark: The policeman He said : A nitrous oxide injection. I could hardly think of laughing (with a diesel). The policeman just didn’t want to believe me, that if tuning parts have an “E” identification they don’t have to carry these entries or papers for it (I think that was StvzO §19 Abs.2 Nr.3 or so). I then also had the later written confirmation from the Kraftfahrtbundesamt(KBA) in case once again s o a control is coming. I find it absolutely crappy to pick up this whole shit just because the Bul…. had no idea. I had the defect card stamped by the RW Tüf and I thought good is there’s nothing coming after it or anything now.But suddenly today a yellow letter flutters with a fine notice. 75€ and 3 points uafs account. Well great and now I think I was right or not. He would have at least a small penance to me. I can’t give you an ABE because of what they do sometimes. Please help me do what I can, if I should go against it! THANK YOU!

  • Installing caravan batteries

Hello hope you can help me further, have bought us a new caravan. As long as he is attached to the car I have 12v in the caravan unfortunately he has no battery where he could store electricity. In our old hobby we had the problem with a battery (front in the storage compartment) at the a current converter on 230v and from this to the cee can (hope the so called) so we had electricity for about 2 nights. The battery we had always charged at home because of the caravan no electricity from the Car gotm. So history passed now to my questions 1. How or where do I have to build the batteries between so that they are charged over the car while driving. 2. Is it now because they are connected in the net from the caravan again possible to feed with a converter 230v. already many thanks for reply

  • Connect second battery for beginners

Hello together, we bought a VW T4, in which already half with the RV expansion started. Now is a second battery under the driver’s seat and I have two questions: 1. Maybe the question is quite stupid, but we are really bloody beginners: How can you find out if the battery has already been connected (correctly) to the engine? 2. Can you trust yourself as a beginner, build a socket to the second battery? And: Does someone know a good instruction or a Ti pp, how do I get a good guide? Thank you very much! LG, Bishuk

  • Aquaroll for filling the WoWa tank?

Hi, Bin WW-Renter (the first time, years ago with RV) and ask yourself how you fill your WW with fresh water at the place, if you are there only 1-2 days. With the RV I did it like this: ancestors to the rooster, hose on it, other end to the RV and in. Either on arrival or (less amount) of the descent. If there were a few more days and water was missing, I just drove briefly to the RV and back to the place (from time to time also a bucket, so that But with the WW one does not rank, because one has forgotten the water. Watering can and funnel with a 5 liter bucket also went, but in the UK one seems to use the Aquaroll or the like everywhere, a rollable canister with e.g. 50 liters, which stands outside the water connection of the WW and supplies the WW with hose and 12V connection and submersible pump. Now I thought to myself to use such a Aquaroll, to fill the water in the inner tank. But the WW has no outside 12V connection, so that the operation of a submersible pump would be a bit cumbersome, but feasible, especially since it is only about filling up for a short time (while the Brits use this as a permanent water supply from the Aquaroll). Did any of you already do this (temporarily) with a German WW? With what experiences? Or do you simply use buckets and funnels – or even a hose to the tap on arrival at the place? Or what else? Sorry that I am multiple I just don’t have the experience with a WW, which is different in some respects than with the camper. Anyway, thank you for your hints, ideas and advice.

  • Out throttle and in

If you take the throttle out of your scooter, the insurance will go out, but what if you put this weeder in, is everything legal again? Or is it not legal anymore, because you had your fingers in the SPiel, so to speak?

  • Hife!! Sheet over entrance to outside covered

Hello, I bought an almost new (was bought this week a year) caravan from a dealer. Now we have it at home and then we suddenly notice that the sheet over the entrance (there is also a lamp attached) has a “delivery” along. In the hall where we had visited it did not notice that. Now we drove to a contract workshop on the weekend and showed the boss a picture. Of course he made no statement because he had to He just said that there was no leak test. We heard about this one for the first time… But I could still have it done, right? I’m desperate! I wish you a good Sunday!

  • Peugeot 607 with Wi-Fi

Hello forum, I would like to install WLAN in my 607 and ask you if someone has ever had problems with a notebook or similar devices in 607. Car type see below. What do I have in mind. . . . I have an RT3 Navi, in which you can unlock the audio connection in the glove compartment (with the latest software version 6.61). Since I don’t have half things some, I want to have all Audio CD, audio book CD and of course language course CD, which have accumulated in the course of the decades, in the car. here my shopping list: Dell Axim X51v (which will be my player in the car) Asus WL-HDD In the WLAN hard disk housing WL-HDD any 2.5-inch IDE hard disk can be installed, on the 802.11b/g Wi-Fi 2.5-wide hard disk: 160GB Seagate ST9160821A Momentus 540.3 160GB ATA (here the data come from) power inverter 150 VA from 12V DC to 230V AC (so I create a 230V network in the car) if someone has a better idea, I’m open to anything.

  • Loss of benefit due to the years

Hello together N mate of me who is actually well acquainted with cars, this week my 406 Coupé 3.0 V6 drove with 190 Ps BJ 99 and 176 tkm sample. He meant that of the alleged 190 Ps is not much to feel and he has only 150 – 160 Ps after his feeling. That smells huge to me and therefore my question….. How can I activate the possibly lost horses again? Maybe by new spark plugs/cable or new distributor??? What lies on such a loss of performance due to age and what can be done there. Ps: My more well-known gulf GTI was driving before and he thought he would be much better off ….
