  • Why is my axle load as high as the total weight? What counts when weighing?

    Hello, since I recently weighed my living room for the first time when translating from the winter quarter I had to find out that I have a massive overweight problem for a long time. Well, I always drove around with full water tanks, toilets and various stuff which I don’t always need and pay attention to even loading so that there were no problems so far. However, with a check it would not have been possible to load into the car. After extensive research here and via Google the opinions on the total mass are very different. To the own question my car may already weigh 1700 kg. Since the axle load is also registered with 1700 kg and the support load of 100 kg is attributed to the car (doesn’t lie on the axle), can the car then weigh off on the wagon 1800 kg or not weigh? Differently asked, if you have to weigh on the mobile scale and the scale shows 1700 kg axle load on I am then in the green area or can only be 1600 kg because the support load is calculated on it?   • 7.5 tonner + new trailer – need help

    Hello everyone, since December I have the new Atego 816 = 7.5 t On Monday I pick up a trailer, own weight 840 kg.   • Actros Mp2 water problem

    Hallöchen, once again me has finally caught the bock… Stand last Friday at the washroom and I looked at my diesel pre-filter (is the heated water separator, the big one) and I saw the below all red is in the display glass. So off into the workshop tub and let off the soup once… It smelled like coolant!!! And I have regularly coolant loss in the last 2 weeks 4 liters of water after tilted at a mileage of approx. 4000-5000km. Water loss of the vehicle has always been told me. No one has cared about it. How can it be that the cooling water comes into the diesel tank or into the fuel tank? (Diesel main tank is always closed) Can it also be that the vehicle has too little leeway or does not pull?   • Electricity for fridge and freezer

    Hello Power”Auskenner”, I try it again today, I probably expressed myself stupidly last time. If I have a fridge that needs 26 watts on the day (so 95 KWH/year … hopefully I gave it this way ) and a fridge that needs 145 kwh/year, so divided by 365 does that then 39 W/day, makes a total of 65 W/day, how can I cope with batteries? Probably I have expressed myself stupid again, but you understand that already. 1000 thanks from Klaus STOP !!!!!!! I probably made a mistake again and forgot a zero with the daily consumption. So the fridge should therefore need 260 watts per day and the freezer then 390 watts per day. So in total then about 600 watts.     Hello colleagues, yesterday I was on the way from cham direction mannheim with my tga 18430 d20, bj 2005, height crailsheim then the report motor oil overheating….I immediately stopped at parking place which was just still there by chance ;-). then a ratter …. So, I get out and see what it could be or where it came from. nix to see.ADAC called , towed incl lying.Today the alleged diagnosis it would be spewing in oil, plus another 170€ towing fees from the company TRUCK ROLL SERVICE in crailsheim, for 20 kilometers!!!! So now the question : Has anyone ever had such a report? Machine is now standing after towing again for 1000 in Mannheim in our workshop – thanks already for answering.

  • Caravan: 12V power supply with 220V converter and battery.

    Moinsen, I have an understanding question about the operation of the 12V network in the trailer, which the SuFu could not answer. Please note: In my question it will not be about the 12V supply over the towing vehicle; that is not a topic and should not be included in the considerations. Also I do not want to buy a new electric block. Here the actual condition: caravan Knaus Azur, BJ 1991. As standard equipped with a 220V/12V converter. No battery. Some lamps and the water pumps run over 12V (so far from the converter supplied by land power). Some lamps, refrigerator and the Truma-Vent run over 220V. For the converter unfortunately, no technical data are available. The following is before: installation of a battery. Installation of a charger 220V/12V installation of a solar system. After the conversion – so I imagine that the 12V consumers should be supplied with the converter after the 12V has arrived. The 12V power supply is not supposed to be supplied by the 12V switch over the battery.

    My Smart 451 mhd BJ 2007 doesn’t start anymore. After ignition, all the lights light up and turn off, ECO flashes briefly and then goes off. I try to start then, click it for a short time from the direction of the fuse box, but nothing happens at all. The gears can be switched on without a running motor. Does that sound like a flat battery? This is now 12! years running smoothly? Mhd is switched off every time directly after engine start. Do I have to install an AGM battery now or would a VARTA SILVER C30 12V54Ah 54 Ah for the requirement profile? The car is moving 23 kilometers in the morning and the same distance in the evening.
