T1 tow truck, rear brake without function
Have a Mercedes T1 tow truck “407 D” , Bj 1985, and after long restoration had to find out that there is no brake fluid at the rear brakes. Now I have already opened a few pipes to see when there is liquid, but in the area something in front of the rear axle, to the right, the brake line flows which comes from the front, and those which goes further to the rear to the brakes, into a strange component that I do not know. I have the assumption that through this part the liquid cannot get back, at least no liquid comes out at the rear opening when I kick the pedal. Can someone tell me what that part is? Deficiencies shortly after purchase of used car, how do we proceed?
Hello, my girlfriend and I have entered the world of the Seat used cars, in the middle of August we bought an Ibiza (automatic), 13 years old, 130,000 mileage. The car did not start already on the yard of the dealer and needed start aid, it was called “he stood for a long time”. Unfortunately this continued and he needed almost always start aid – battery was changed (at his own expense). In mid-November then warning lights EPC and Symbol ABS, car could start, but not At the dealer a throttle flap was replaced (at least warranty). Now at the end of November the LED for the exhaust system, i.e. lambda probe or similar, said immediately (without seeing the car) “wearing part, repair costs they carry themselves”. We have now almost three months, have driven the car itself only approx. 1,000km and are already a little frustrated. The dealer on the one hand has good reviews, on the other hand we are still waiting for the letter I confirm that the repair of the throttle flap was a guarantee case (we would like to present to the insurance company because they have borne the towing costs). We are still absolute beginners, almost the first own car. Do you have an idea how / where we can start to “fight” against the dealer? The car is still checked the week by the dealer, I am sure he will say “wearing part, costs xy”. And did we dare not with the Ibiza? Are these many things Is it even normal? Actually, we had read only good things before. Look forward to your experiences and maybe ideas.

Gear oil change after gear change
Servus, I’m driving a Seat Ibiza 6J 85ps with gears. I had a gearbox damaged, which is why a overhauled gearbox was installed. The workshop meant that after 1000km you should make a gear oil change again… Can’t imagine why? Is that really so? Thank you

VFL doors mounted in FL [Ibiza 6J]
Servus! Unfortunately, someone drove me into my right side of the car and my 2013 Ibiza is now an economic total damage 🙁 I find it too bad to give it away and want to repair it now. Unfortunately, the two doors on the right have to be changed. My question would be now: Do doors of the VFL fit without any adjustments in the FL? Thank you already!

Hello, at the moment I have not had so much luck with my Saab, air-conditioning compressor, petrol pump, exhaust, coupling I have had to renew in the last 6 months. Well….today a new problem has surfaced suddenly he starts to jerk when I demand him performance nothing happens no acceleration. When speeding up he swallows himself and wrinkles. After about 10 minutes check engine lights up. I put him off and took a rental car. Was that now with my Saab??? Best Gruss Nico

New Year’s night – and suddenly he stays still…
Hello all, I wish you all a happy, healthy and puncture-free new year. I am Saab newcomer, recently bought me a Saab 9000 2.3 Turbo CS BJ 1992. A great car, inside and outside perfectly maintained, no rust, stitching and a silk-soft running engine with automatic transmission. Yesterday evening lit up in the display CHECK OIL LEVEL. So to the next gas station, to measure oil level. The oil level was still short over MIN, so some oil was refilled, De The oil rod shows the stand exactly in the middle between MIN and MAX, so too much is not in it.The starter turned, but the engine didn’t jump any more. At a glance under the bonnet I found a hose that had loosened (see appendix), but nothing changed at the start. The pointer of the turbo indicator has been in the middle since then, even if the car is out. ADAC Mann jammed the battery to reset the on-board computer, since he suspected the error there, but did not bring anything, except that now lights up in the info display when starting ANTI LOCK. Red DI ignition box defective 🙁
Hello everybody, my 9K didn’t want to start today in the lunch break again, this morning it was still running perfectly! Battery is ok, starter is also turning, but doesn’t start. The immobilizer is fine, so it’s also off. Then we removed the red box and tested the ignition spark, but nothing came…so the thing was clear… 🙁 My friend has now given me his “Werkstatt Testbox” (in BLUE!) over the WE, because I need the car tomorrow. Reingestec kt, beggart, purring like a cat again! Well, but on Monday I have to leave “the blue one” again and then I stand stupidly there. Can’t afford me a new one right now, so the question to the members: Does any of you still have a good used and naturally working DI-box lying around, which he would sell me at a fair price? 🙂 Look forward to any offers and wish a nice weekend. Environmental badge (who refuses?) + new tax
Hello, I wanted to ask, who also refuses to attach the new environmental badge to his vehicle? Unfortunately, there is an environmental zone in more and more big cities, in the city center. I mean this ko… me really, I have the car with the 2nd lowest consumption cost after the Adac environmental list, that you can buy as standard, and then I should stick the green badge to me? That’s why I separated myself last year, especially from the diesel and on a new Euro 4 vehicle with Super/Aut ogas changed. Extra vehicle selected what this 140g/km Co 2, the Eu Norm adheres to and now I should also stick my windscreen with the green badge. I actually thought that only the diesel stinkers need this badge. Why don’t you make the badge as standard to the license plate or at the bottom to the disc(in the area not visible from the inside), at the serial number of the vehicle, if that anyway every passenger car in Germany needs? That’s why my question, h At the moment, what penalties do you get if you don’t have a badge? 2. Does it bother me that I am being penalized (almost €50/year) under the new tax law for passenger cars? If I had registered the car after the law came into force, I would pay a lot less tax. Thus, you will be punished again because you already saved the environment in 2008. So langsa I am really thinking about whether I should actively defend myself against these two absurd laws!
