  • Bastuck problems with flap

Moin. Recently the problems with the Stinger are increasing. The following occurs more and more. When the engine starts the Stinger automatically opens the flap and closes it again after a good second. This also works perfectly. By pressing the button, the flap should open at about 70kmh, which however it does not do. Even with the use of the remote control (of course only for test purposes on closed private premises) the lamp starts to blink, ever Sometimes it works again after a few minutes of driving, sometimes it doesn’t open even after an hour. Again in other cases the problem doesn’t occur at all. Before I go back to the workshop and need another week to find a problem, I hope that one of you might have an idea what it can be. Thanks in advance.

  • 1.0 TSI 110 PS or 1.5 TSI 130 PS?

I’m on my way to order the new Leon (as a hand switch). Is the 1.5 TSI with 130 hp much more splashy than the three-cylinder with 110 hp

  • A praise from the Omega Community

So I really want to give you a commendation. here in this forum it is really friendly to. that sometimes who fights is always there. and in things tips & tricks you always have good things in stock and you can ask you what has not necessarily to do with the car. (e.g.: ebay) and even a successful meeting you organized what I also highly charge you. (unfortunately I was not there) all in all I would like to say the following: This is the conclusion I came to, since I have now driven around a while in the bmw forum. and there you can feel the mistrust and envy so strong. many don’t even believe that one has such a car bla bla. and if you need a tip you have to wait forever or it doesn’t come at all or you’re being fooled somehow. you hardly see such things here although the omega in the new to stand is also a quite expensive car. so a high of the FRIENDS CHAFTLY omega atmosphere. I hope that hasn’t been too narrow, but that was on my heart.

  • New Mazda 6 – experience, opinion, test drive

He leutz, has it already who? today I tested the new 6er with the 147 HP petrol. 1. impression: I have the predecessor (facelift) with 121 HP diesel. Extremely quiet engine, well insulated, no wind noises, even with the outside mirrors. Genial Bi Xenon, top suspension (understand here the car newspaper or the car picture, which he says is enormously tight). Top handling. The new operating concept on the steering wheel is however in need of getting used to and the display in the center console is with sun The Bose sound system has a great sound. Conclusion: I will return mine in December, and buy me a new 6-comb. Does anyone else have any experience with it? By the way: I ran the new a4 and the 320 i a while ago, and honestly, the price is absolutely not worth it. especially because the 6-combi also has a place (1751 liter loading room). mfg mark

  • Wheels SL 500 / Cleaning

Hi everybody Have a small problem getting my rims and also the disks (holed ) clean. As these are perforated, brake dust accumulates at which with rainwater leaves a nice black track on the rims and the body. It is possible to clean these “holes” with a small drill bit, but this procedure is also sea-very time consuming – who has another idea to fix this problem ?? mfg Walter

  • SL 500 – perfect !

Hello community ! Had had the nice pleasure to test the current SL model as 500s on the previous WE and I have to say – just awesome ! You feel like in Abraham’s lap and everything fits…;-) At beautiful 18 degrees I could test the SL 500 extensively – open as closed ! Above all surprised me the sound – have never heard of such original. DC ! There you get really goose bumps when you leave the V8 ! That too … and what do you think ? SR

  • Particulate filter (DPF)

Hello, we have been driving a Mazda 6 Kombi diesel with 121 hp for 2 years. However, we are in the workshop every 6 months, as the DPF control lamp lights up continuously and we always lose power. We were told that it is because we would only drive short distances and thus the filter cannot generate itself. Also a letter to Mazda in Leverkusen did nothing, on the contrary, we were too stupid to deal with the car. In mid-May we had to go back to the workshop and The oil had to be changed again, we were allowed to cover costs. After 2,500 kilometers he is now again in the workshop, this time already for 1 week, as still tests have to be carried out. This was only a short excerpt from our problem. We are looking for other owners who have this problem, because we do not like that of Mazda any more. Please for a short return information, if you also get so. Thank you in advance. MfG JHMSW

  • In case the TÜV gives us a break… switch to scooter?

1st Yamaha Virago 125 – was a nice comfortable part and very reliable. Only what the durability was, so had, despite regular inspection etc, the engine after about 68,000 km only the compression, like a bursted balloon. (was new vehicle). 2. Honda Rebel – used with about 5,000 km on the clock. Was also a reliable vehicle, also convenient and start mi almost 70,000 km on the clock. in the Mercedes (he had not noticed stop sign and I had not done anything further – but Möp was gone). It was done on the nothing except oil and air filter, as well as chain set changes – not even inspection or anything. Just, as I now notice on the 3rd machine, was a Honda. They just do what they were built for. 3. Jetzige machine Honda Varadero. Is the absolute madness – reliable like an old deutz, maintenance as with the Rebel and runs and runs… with meanwhile about 77,000 km better than with the approx. 12,000, where I bought them used. Oil consumption to approx. 7,000 KM quasi 0. Now next year is TÜV and I guess that due to the mileage and age some costs will come to me. Brake caliper front, possibly swing and steering head bearings, tires – already alone because of the age of approx. 5 years (would I exchange anyway). The vehicles were not pure fun vehicles but commercial vehicles and brought me always the summer about at daily about 80Km reliable to work. Now the question arises for me – am not the youngest anymore (62), whether I should switch to a scooter. If the TÜV divides us, is after all in the normal light power market for motorcycles what in the mentioned kind to get no more – sometimes from Chinese etc. apart – but something like that does not come into my house. If, then there is either Honda or Yamaha – even if the are more expensive – but to me quality and reliability before price. In the case of the mentioned brands, for example, 125 motorcycles, is either quite small or rather a racing machine for 16 – 18 year olds – for the customer group certainly OK but not really for me. I have already looked around a little on the net – and as a commercial vehicle the Honda Forza would probably be considered – also because the test reports say that it should be reliable, economical, smooth and comfortable. It is also important for me to have a good light, what it should have (LED), because age-related the Have you ever experienced something like this before? I guess next year I’ll have the Forza test and see if that fits. An old used Varadero or Shadow would be an alternative but they are all very old and I would have the same problems as the current Vara relatively quickly. If the TÜV should not divorce us, it will of course continue to drive – the same mileage will pack the certainly still one time. As I said – for me – regardless of the price only something solid reliable in question. The text has now become a little longer but I think you can see what is important to me.
