Servus, my aluminium rims have unfortunately suffered a bit in the past years. Since now already new tires have to be on it, it is possible to remove the tires from the rims, once to make the rim horn beautiful again, and if necessary to dipping in a desired color… This should happen apparently only after the installation of the new tires. How good is the durability of the spray foil?? Can one easily with it into a washing line? Are the things high-druch cleaner fixed?? Would I on the one S like to save the money, for an expensive rim painting, on the other side however not necessarily throw money out to the window, because the foil is no good. Thanks in advance!

Winter complete wheel with black steel wheels Golf 7
Hello, I’m looking for black steel rims as a winter complete wheel for my Golf 7 (140 hp, gasoline, EZ 2013). That’s apparently not so easy, because different online suppliers could not guarantee (independent of the tire) that the steel rims are delivered in black color. Steel rims as a winter complete wheel is no problem, but as I said, there is no colour allowance. Some actually also deliver the rims in “Alu-Optik/Silver”. e.g. I had received an email on request to the customer service, which there is no possibility to influence the color choice at the order. If a withdrawal after goods receipt would then unfortunately be due with tiresdirectly 30 euro fee per rim…! If a timely cancellation still due still fees..? Well, don’t know if that is still right..? Anyway, someone has a provider where I can definitely get said steel complete wheel in black version..?

Opinion on four winter tyres
Hi guys, I’m also looking for new winter tyres. Have four in the tighter selection. Which would you recommend? I only need 3 of them, as I still have a relatively new one. Hi, yes, I know that with snow, a winter tire is more superior than a summer tire. I’m about to buy the Michelin CC, because I don’t need winter tires for the 2-3 days of snow a year. But: How is that at low temperatures when ice is freezing? Is a winter tire better than a summer tire or GJR with summer characteristics?

How much power does the starter really need? Question about battery coupler
Hi, I have two batteries in the car, a starter battery and an AGM battery. The latter for the supply of devices and as a start backup. I want to pair them now with a battery coupler for various reasons, such as Cyrix-ct 12/24 V 120 A and 230 A. To charge all this is no problem, but how does it look at the start? Suppose the starter battery weakens or is completely dead, then I can manually bridge the coupler and take the second battery to help. e Cyrix devices can handle 180A start current (120A version) and 500A (230A version). But how do I know how much current my starter actually needs? The starter has 1.1kW, which is equivalent to a current of ~92A. But is that really all? I have read a lot here in the forum and in others about it, because one number is thrown around the head up to 450A. The whole thing must work even with clear minus degrees, where the starter will have to do safely. The question is, Is the 120A version, which can be about twice the start currentStrength of what the starter should theoretically need? Or is the 230A version with 500A start current necessary? Many vehicles of the year 94 or 95 have now airbags in them that have expired. I don’t know who checks that? The Tüv then? That means all those who have such a vehicle must have your airbag exchanged expensively or you buy a new complete airbag steering wheel in the accessories.

Hello people ! I play with the idea to buy a cheap mobile phone (e.g.Ebay – Siemens M55, because red lighting etc.) and to put it permanently in my A3-FSE (2th mobile card is no problem) – now I’m just afraid that some bums break the car because of it … or is that not sooo interesting for thieves nowadays !?!? Reason: I get annoyed in and out and constantly charging the battery, although it is almost full – net so bulging … Of course I would put the part in But leave it here in the countryside. Ask for constructive opinions.
