Hello I have an Audi80 B4 and I am just building a laptop in the trunk and a touchscreen in the center console at the front. Now my question: I would like to start my car by entering a code on the touchscreen or laptop. The laptop would have to somehow press a signal / switch so that the motor starts as if I was turning the key around in the ignition lock !. Is something like that to realize ? e.g. ignition lock remove the contact that the key when turning to the sta rten causes replace a usb cable to disconnect the connection to the ignition lock and deactivate the usb port or activate it from the laptop by entering the code when activating the usb port a contact is established in the ignition lock what causes the motor to start. after 5 sec then the usb port is deactivated again, the engine is started Oo Is that technically possible ? if yes how exactly ? or joa funts something ? or does I imagine that too easily ? have my car ignition lock oss technique not yet looked at exactly but will do in a few days when my parts are there for the carpc. Polishing Chrome Bars
Hello, so my chrome strips don’t look so nice anymore. For the Audi rings in the front I bought some sonic chrome polish in the hardware store for 3 euros. it worked great. They looked like new after that, but I had little success with the chrome strips at the time. Has someone ever worked on it and knows how to get it back nicely? In the meantime, they don’t have to buy it anymore.

With my 2024 EQS 580 I miss the 12V socket under the dashboard on the right. I would like to retrofit it. I don’t find the order number and also the cabling components. Can someone please help me? Thank you!

all systems fail – EQE SUV 350 4Matic
I’ve been (!) (happy) owner of an EQE SUV new car for six hours. Is that “normal” that after 100km ABS, ESP, assistance system, rear axle steering, PreSafe, etc, have no desire anymore (…)? Even after BUS rest (15 min?) everything is “defect” 🙁 The vehicle drives badly, jerks when starting up and brakes only mechanically. Who knows and how was it fixed?

hello people. I just had an “accident”. well, you can’t really see it as an accident. I wanted to drive a car ride long and I slipped away in a right turn because of the snow and ice-smooth road and drove left into a bushes. I did two arrows and a traffic sign. neither the pkw has any harm (even if the policeman has so noted this for the insurance – no idea why. perhaps for the sake of caution) and I’m anyway nothing happens. the problem is that I am in the probation period. did not get the license until 2 months ago. now my question: could one get a build-up seminar because of such an incident? so only because of damage to traffic signs? thank you for your answer. vg vera

workshop breaks ignition key in lock-down who pays?

I don’t know if I’m right here-find somehow no suitable forum. i have z z the following problem:have given my car to the workshop. the good mechanic has just broken the key in the ignition lock. unfortunately I also no longer have a replacement key.now the question: who pays the harm? a new locking system costs about 150€ (ebay offer) plus installation. can anyone help me? many thanks in advance lg mel

Experience with 2.2 TDCI?
I am interested in the Mondeo as the next car. But as a strong diesel. What can you say about the 2.2l TDCI? Think that the 155hp should go quite well. As a frequent driver, no big gasoline would be worthwhile for me.

Hello together, I bought me about 2 weeks ago the above-mentioned mondeo. Unfortunately, he has only released me so far …. started it on Friday, was on the highway with about 140kmh, suddenly this lamp started to flash which probably stands for the glowing candles and the fuel injection relay. It seemed to me as if the engine was running in the emergency program, the turbo did not turn on any more and could drive only 120kmh and he ran totally restless. Dealers drove where I bought the car. Said ….. they hung him to the tester and found that any code in the motorelekronic was wrong at the jack nozzle … well the car was therefore 2 days in the workshop. Then picked him up Tuesday and found that he now has a clattering as if the exhaust was broken. I mean, but it is something with the turbo that can be ?? …. well, I didn’t care much about it at first. eight, but then came Wednesday morning the hammer, again on the highway with about 160kmh suddenly braked the engine full program off, the lights were outside and in the car dark..er sounded like he had a storage damage or so you could not sit in the car so doll the hit a massage was there nothing against … when changing on the side strip I noticed the front right at the side oil kicked out and that was also the end of the song. He jumped z was still at but driving so you couldn’t anymore …. so towers called and towed to workshop where I was already… the car is now standing since Wednesday in the workshop and they could not tell me until today what is going on with the car. The only answer I got was: There is something on the engine am meanwhile really mad thinking the druxen drumm around because it is definitely what is really serious. and because it runs about the warranty as said before 2 where So manythicht one of you knows something about it and can tell me what happened now with the motor thanks already for the answer
