  • Brakes flap SRX

    Moin moin, I installed AC Delco Brem disks last summer, as the old brakes fluttered while braking. Now I have the same problem after 10,000 km and have set EBC disks installed. But also these run not 100% round but rub easily. Could there be other vulnerabilities for this problem? If I have to brake sharply now from 150 km/h, I also feel a vibrating in the brake pedal. Maybe I’m too pedantic, but somehow it’s annoying after all. Greetings Frank

  • Hercules Prima 5 doesn’t run properly despite many new parts

    Hello, I have a Hercules Prima 5 built in 1995 which has only about 14,500km down. Model: 634 I have the following problem: It doesn’t really come on full-gas (sounds like half-gas) and has quite strong speed fluctuations. I have already done the following: -gasifier cleaned, air filter renewed, carburetor needle hung high down… -Other cylinder built on it because I thought the old “wasting” is -New piston+All seals including Simmerrings etc. -Other clutch and ignition tried -Electronics checked and the spark (funke blau lilac) -New oil pure etc. And changed the exhaust (have still a Dkw here so I simply “rebuilt” but also did not use anything. However, when trying around I noticed that on the cylinder there was electricity on it (was a cable pull on it that I wanted to take away there I then saw the spark flying) But only once. Have not yet had any round because I have painted my rim and have not yet built it. I am really finished with my knowledge! Please help me, do not want to sell the good part.

Then I read on the Internet that there are also cheap brands, like Yamasaki or Zipp… but they should all come from China and hear from, the parts don’t last long until the first mistake. Well, let’s get to the question. Which brand can you recommend? I go up to approx. 240€. Cheaper would be better, of course, but quality is more important.     If I turn out my GPZ 500 s and then take the gas away, I always get a false ignition in the exhaust at approx. 7500 rpm. Does anyone know this problem?
