Hi, I bought new tires and rims in November. These are for my summer car and were mounted on it. As the car wintered over, I was immediately pumped up to 4 bar. When I drove the tires today for the first time, I discovered cracks on all four tires on the outside. See pictures. The tires were driven by me 10km. Would you throw them down or continue driving? I worry about these cracks. The tires are by the way from Nexen and were 2018 g ==References==

Electronic problems
Hello Together Wants to speak again on the occasion in the hope of being able to draw on your experiences. I got my new S500 in December last year. After about 2 weeks several electronic problems arose, which express themselves as follows: 1. Sliding roof remains undefined, sometimes further ahead, sometimes further behind if you want to open it completely. 2. Comand sometimes only goes out after some time when the ignition key is pulled off. 3. Comand does not work. Sometimes only after 1 hour driving time. 4. Passenger seat adjusts independently. 5. Radio changes the volume at once. (well, not the speed-dependent control) 6. Generally poor radio reception. 7. Phone sometimes does not ring. 8. Steering wheel switch buttons for volume control practically unusable, since the volume increase is too large at a unique push of a button. 9. In addition, I have the vibrations described in another thread between 60 and 100 kmh as well. For your answers already best thanks V8Paul

Rearview camera Opel Mokka
Hello guys, my father got his new Opel Mokka 1.4 l Turbo with intelli-link and rear-view camera just before Christmas. Now we have found that the rear-view camera built by Opel does not show any guidance lines for the distance assessment or the controlled lane. I know this so far from all models of different manufacturers only so that these guidance lines are available. The Opel dealer also didn’t know about these guidance lines. Is that right? Is Opel the only manufacturer without these guide lines. Apart from that, the Mokka is a very nice and practical compact SUV! Thank you in advance.

Mokka Facelift
As it seems, Opel is working on a facelift for the Mokka. First pictures show a well-known mocha on a car transporter, but with a concealed front. However, there is not much to see. The revision is limited to the front, rear etc. but certainly comes later. Similar to the development of the Corsa E. Mokka X engines
Hello with each other I wonder if the new Mokka X really should be finished with the 1.4 T with 152 hp. The 1.6 of the Astra K with 170 or even better with 200 hp would also be excellent in the Mokka? As comparison: By chance I stepped on the coming Audi Q2. It is only 4.19 long and certainly also lighter than a Mokka. They bring away from the beginning 6 different engines up to 190 hp (0-100 in 6.8s). Later even an SQ2 with approx. 250 hp and possibly even an RS with 300 hp. PS. Why does Opel have the feeling that stronger Mokka variants are not in demand with their customers? At least up to 200 HP? My wish would be a compact, slightly elevated car with all-wheel drive (Switzerland), which can also be driven a little sporty (not only looks like that) and is affordable. Up to the last point this probably applies to the Q2. But just – I would rather have a Mokka, just with more power… By the way my 70 year old father drives a Meriva OPC which in the years he would buy me a stronger mocha. So that would be 2 already! Greetings Andy

Overtaking on the 3-lane motorway car with trailer
Hello, have a question to the traffic experts. Is it possible to overtake a car + trailer (Opel Vectra+ trailer ZGG 750KG, undecelerated) on a 3 lane highway on the third lane, if the other 2 lanes are full with trucks? Provided of course that the prescribed maximum speed is adhered to. Thanks. MfG

What shoes to drive?
For truck drivers it is probably prescribed and also makes sense with dirty soles, pedals and footroom: The “fixed shoes” with anti-slip sole. But what does this look like in the car? I like to ride without shoes on longer rides (these lie in the unused passenger footroom (birkenstocks or half shoes with leather soles) or in the trunk (work shoes)). On the one hand, the clutch point in the 2111 Lada is similar to the Audi A4 of a colleague “right far up” (should probably be more sporty). If I switch from the diesel engine on to the petrol engine on a working day, it will always take me a long time to get used to the changed starting behaviour (the engine is far too quiet and at the traffic light it will drain off with false domes – even after 16Tkm with the car), on the other hand it is simply more comfortable without shoes. Now my question: Are there regulations about whether you have to wear shoes for private car driving? do not rationally understand on street shoes, since the human foot sole (without stockings) is already ideally anti-slip in the OEM bio version, but the leather sole of the street shoe can slip off the pedals in an unfavorable case.

Wanted: The ideal motorcycle camera
At the moment I am building a new camera system, because you can’t buy a really good one yet. I will not continue the old one after wear of the third DV camcorder. My current SD camcorder for this (Aiptek 8800) is not the wisdom of the last conclusion for many reasons. But at least he has an AV input for the connection of a Bullet cam. But certainly someone knows a camcorder, which meets as much of the following conditions as possible: – a mind estens TV-compatible image quality – SD-storage – splash-proof – a good wobble compensation – a 12-volt connection, at least one current input – a suitable attachment on the handlebar or elsewhere. – A LANC socket, so that you can press the camera with a thumb pressure and switch it off again, without looking at it and without taking the hand of handlebars. – The housing please as compact as possible. It does not have to lie well in the hand, that is n – The camera runs without a closed control monitor. – An AV input to connect a second camera, between which you can switch back and forth. With gloves. Please enter the forum here.
