Hello together, I play with the thought to get myself a Camaro V8 Coupe. The crucial question is current: sliding roof yes or no? I really like a sliding roof and drive in the summer mostly open with my C-Class current, so I would also like to have one at the Camaro. However, last time a salesman at Chevi said that he would advise me from the sliding roof at the Camaro, since it lifts the sliding roof automatically at over 250kmh. By the pressure or something like that? f I honestly didn’t do a joke, especially since I’m often on the road with far more than 200 kmh. How are your experiences with it? I don’t care about other things like the roof shape. A convertible is also out of the question. That’s also regulated at 250.

Short-freeze squealing engine compartment
Servus I have recently been a quit out of the engine room. What amazes me: – it only occurs after 1-2min – only from the 3rd gear at the slanting – then it only stops for 1-2min and then remains silent the whole driving time. – hummed when I walk from the gas – comes from the passenger side. – after 30min parking, the procedure stops. I switched to the WE OIL and had only the assumption that what came on the belts, but nothing can be seen from above. s the next agregate hang short? Otherwise nothing inconspicuous can be observed. Before I buy new straps and spanners now, did one have an idea or similar?

Annual oil change for seasonal vehicle with < 500km of performance per year
Hello, for the maintenance lists for cars I know, the engine oil /+filter change is either after X km or 1 year. How do you do this with a seasonal vehicle that is only moved in the summer months (July to September) and is driven very little (less than 500km) in the year? It is clear that a good synthetic engine oil (e.g. Mobil1, Castrol, …) is not yet “consumed” here. But what about the additives in it if necessary? And the condensing was possibly collected in it. if the vehicle is housed in a garage for the rest of the year, which also allows an air exchange through the gate slots etc.? How do you do that or what do you think about it? Should you change the engine oil here every year or, for example, only change the engine oil filter every 2 years and in between after a year?

Further settlement after accident damage
Hi guys, Unfortunately I have to work in this forum now, because for the first time an accident happened on my car and something like this has never happened to me and I don’t know the correct further procedure yet. Briefly to the accident: A woman drove into my parked car, noticed the accident and called the police, I arrived in the meantime by accident at my parked car, we exchanged personal data and insurance data, the police wanted to e still see the vehicle registration and driving license. After that I am to the VW-contract workshop and have there ordered an expert who evaluates the damage, moreover I signed to the workshop a cancellation declaration, which they calculate the damage with the insurance. The vehicle was now repaired in the meantime, the report was sent to me. In it stands that by the accident a depreciation of 200EUR occurred. Now my question: How do I get this 200EUR from the opposing insurance? Who do I have to get in touch with, furthermore for the 4 days indicated in the report I still have a service failure fee, because I did not take a rental car. However, there is nothing about the amount of this fee in the report. As far as I know, I can also claim a cost flat rate? Achja in the report is still noted that a copy of the report was sent directly to the opposing insurance. V Thank you for your help.

Search car for 20,000 km/a for approx.12.000
Good evening dear people, we would like to buy our first car together. After a lot of research we have come across this forum again and again and we were able to get a lot of information. Unfortunately we have really less idea and therefore wanted to look for help here. So these are the basic features that the cars should have like this: Every time a used car mileage: 20,000 km/year Route profile: short distances rural road and 80km motorway daily. Price: 12-13k Laufleist 40k age: up to 4 years So far we have looked at small cars such as Fiesta, Polo, Corsa, Astra, Leon. In doing so we have an eye on the Leon and the Astra and would not have any references in between. The big question about the running costs is an important criterion. Enquiries about insurances give same values for a comprehensive insurance but do these comparisons on the Internet correspond to reality? Another important question is the one about the engine type un d here we are completely confused and hope that someone could help us. The general tone is that the diesel is better for our benefit, but some car dealers, for example, have said to the Astra that it doesn’t matter. The ADAC report in which diesel and gasoline are compared tells me, however, that it is also very important for the “version”. We are therefore extremely unsure. What would you recommend here? Which is the more reliable car? Have we forgotten another car? Something which I hope you could help a little, because we are absolutely overwhelmed by the abundance of information and advice. With kind greeting, DAPNK

The first motorcycle: throttles? Cylinders?
Moin, have already created a few weeks ago for me to start a motorcycle and have been looking since then. During my search I encountered several problems: On the topic throttle: I have already searched half the internet and found no suitable answer yet. Should I throttle a 100hp machine? Some say “Yes, nothing happens”, others say “how would you find it that one belt around the chest to run fast and 10 minutes?”. Unfortunately, I am by these arguments un sure, since especially the example of mim belt somehow makes sense My next problem is the number of cylinders. I rather live in a curvy, mountainous area, so a 2cylinder should be more advantageous, right? They go off right in the lower speed range and are at the ENd speed slower than 4cylinders but since I will not drive any ~200km/h here anyway should the 2cylinder probably fit better to me or? I hope you can help me somehow LG VediJones

Paint damage by Vordermann
Hello together, the following story happened to me: 2-3 weeks ago I was with some buddies on the way to the Baggersee, when a good friend of mine came up with the stupid idea to give a good gas on the gravel parking lot… Of course I was the sufferer and got a whole load of stones etc. on the front and windshield. A few days after this action I noticed a paint damage on the bonnet of my car, which I had not noticed before. Ic h have also several witnesses who can confirm that that “friend” catapulted the cargo of stones on my car to me. He even admitted this until I had addressed him again to the damage… now he does not want to settle the damage. Just for information: this is a 3 month old car, the paint damage did not notice me before. Who is the burden of proof? Who pays? Thanks already in advance!

Upper class of the 90s for 5000 Euro
Hello, after a long time I am now ready to enjoy an upper class car from the 90s. As an everyday car, my “bread and butter car”, the Hyundai i10, continues to serve as my “bread and butter car”. The luxury vehicle is to be moved only about 5000 km a year in beautiful weather. For a long time I have been working on the topic of Mercedes S-Class W140 and have read various purchase advices. In addition, at the usual car exchanges on the Internet I have the corresponding vehicles in the vicinity I already picked out, which I would like to visit partly next week. Here I noticed that the offer is very thin, because just not many vehicles of this type are on the road in Germany. Furthermore, it seems not easy to find a half-way good specimen in the price range. Alternatively, I like the BMW 7er e38 very well. I did not find really detailed purchase advice. In addition, I have the impression that one gets quite well-preserved vehicles with an extensive equipment for less than 5000 EUR. A decisive topic is the maintenance costs. I am aware that such a vehicle (whether BMW or Mercedes) has to be technically closely accompanied and a lot of money will devour. Here is to mention that I can live better with mechanical problems than with electric ones. So now enough swabbles … which car can exist? Where do you see the advantages and disadvantages of these vehicles?

Great price of Russia / Sochi 21
Sdrastwujtje Towarich, the city course on the Black Sea is on the plan. Since there are masses of 90° curves here, this looks somewhat rough. However, the one who finds the right line there is clearly in advantage, because that brings time for the long straights. Mick has already won there in the F2, and for MAZ it is the home race. Have fun Ghost

New battery defect? Or other source of fault?
Hello, it all started with the fact that when the ignition started, everything was running out of power (small display & displays) and then the engine started. (Video: https://youtu.be/srEbVwmn0tc ) About 1 week later, the Harley only started at the second start. (Temperature approx. 10-15 ?) (Video: https://youtu.be/ycONANPPQcA ) At the first start you heard / noticed that the engine started but stopped. At the second start it happens again but the engine starts properly. About 2-3 weeks later the engine didn’t start at all and there were only dull noises (I thought… ok battery flatt)New battery: (Motobatt MBYZ16H) I installed it directly and did not charge it (because it says on the package “No initial charge required”).The engine started directly (I didn’t notice anything) and started driving. At about 4 – 5 start (motor bike was not long) it started just like with the old battery. So everything that consumes electricity briefly but the engine started the next day (charged overnight) only at the second start. I measured the voltage and the voltage breaks down from 12.7V to approx.5V – 6V at the first start. At the second start immediately afterwards it drops to approx.8.1V and the engine runs.Did I just have bad luck, with the new battery or do you think it might be something else? The charging voltage is 13.9V (without giving gas, cold start = approx.1350 revolutions) Greeting Finn Forty Eight from 2014 with about 7000km
