Holla dear scooter community, the Motowell scooter from my big child has a defective brake pump after 3 years and 2500km. Motowell kindly supplies a completely pre-filled “system” as a spare part – so everything from the lever up to the brake plier down, incl. hose. Beautiful…. Now I am laying the new brake system and first attached the system to the top of the handlebar. But below there is a problem – between the brake pads clamps from factory a piece of plastic in the brake I can’t get that out. With the screw force I pushed the brake piston 1mm straight in – but there’s so much pressure on it – as soon as the kennel is off, the plastic distance holder clamps again just as tight. How do you best go there to get the piston back? I think, rather not take pressure from the bottom of the saddle with the vent screw – then probably rather up? I left the lid of the BF container on it all the time… Seems right. To be brim full, the container – not to see an air bubble… Have you ever installed such a thing? And if so – how? Greetings and thanks Tina

How generous are car banks
Hello together, to the background: I used to have a somewhat bad lifestyle and unfortunately did not pay attention to my finances, thereby building up debts. I stood very negative in the Schufa, meanwhile everything has been wiped out and the last thing Mtte found its end in 2017 and since then (as the only thing) stands as done in the Schufa. My score is of course still in the bucket, which rises only very slowly. I have a regulated income, am official at life time Now I want and need a new car because my mind is so slowly giving up. It is not supposed to be incredibly expensive, but an annual car or day registration would be nice, so around the 15,000 Euro (Ford Focus or similar) Since I really wanted to appear as a cash payer was the original plan to take a loan and pay cash at the dealer. Unfortunately I can’t get this one, although everything is done and nu This is why the question (of course I know no one has a glass ball but someone has had similar experiences or is a banker with a car bank or AUrto seller or or or…): What do auto banks say about it? Before I embarrass myself with the seller I wanted to ask here. Are auto banks more kulant? The car remains finally as security in the dealer’s possession. Ode r I don’t need to try it at all and end?` I would be grateful about a few experiences!

Transducer bridge coupling
Hello guys, I’ve already read through a lot of pages, but I still don’t know exactly how such a converter automatic works at all. But there’s a lot of non-knowledge mainly in the converter bridge. I’ve just read on the Internet that if you drive constantly on the motorway at 120km/h in 5th gear and then speed up slightly, the speed remains the same, but the car gets faster. That means that the clutch is active (closed??) But at different speeds, the speed increases inactively depending on the speed (open??). And that’s what I don’t understand. With my gearbox it’s like that, if I also drive 120 and speed up slightly or more (logically) the speed goes up with it. That’s how it should be or not? In the cold years, however, I noticed something. It’s the thing that the engine and cat come quickly to temperature. So, it’s cold outside and I start the engine and start driving. I speed up on the expressway at 70km/h. The gears are all switched by, BUT the speed is always just below 3000 rpm. So 1st gear 2800 2. gear 2800 3. gear stays on 2800 etc. Where does this come from? Is the bridge now open or closed? Another example: At a traffic light it goes sharply to the right to a road. I start –> Gearbox turns into 2nd gear. Now, I know. I’m on the straight and give more gas. The gearbox switches into the 3rd gear and the speed goes up to the speed of the 2nd gear. I don’t understand this procedure of the gearbox. I switch the car in M mode the gears are normally switched by as with a switch. So higher gear –> lower speed. Logically actually. A lot of text for a question, but I hope you can explain it somehow. I think I’m just too stupid to understand that Thanks and Have a nice evening to all of you

Short distances Autobahnfahrt – Fatal?
Hello, I recently moved. My current work path is, just for a car with turbo, “sub-optimal” to say it carefully: From the cold start in 1km or 2minutes to the highway, immediately uphill, in 13km or 10 minutes to drive again, from there only 2km or 5 minutes to the workstation and turn off the engine again… In other words, let the ice-cold engine tow the highway up just to put it off immediately when it is just its T I know that without a lot of technical knowledge. Would you avoid such a route in any case, or do you say to today’s cars with correct driving methods and occasionally longer distances, the car can handle it? At the moment I’m avoiding the said route because I really like my Astra. For this reason, the working distance from time & distance is almost dopp Is that worth it? Since the winter is coming and I need a set of wheels or a set of all-weather tires anyway, I have also thought about getting a cheap winter car & working coach. At today’s market however felt impossible to hang without a big money pit on my neck. Would interest me what you say about it. MFG

who will take the greatest technical step in 2007?
Hello, during the winter break it will be hectic behind the scenes…who will technically take the biggest step…Toyota with his huge budget find a few hp or Mercedes to power also the reliability?? Ferrari to expand his lead as last or will the others pull equal?? Renault and Honda trump up with new technical refinements?? BMW to find old strength?? apart from the drivers, who will really do something with the car… Greetings Andy

How much amperes does a vehicle need when its electronics are on? Question about Power Supply
When making software updates, the vehicle must be switched on without the engine running. How much amperes does a vehicle pull in this condition? How much amperes should a power supply be able to deliver so that the battery can be disconnected?

Wrong automatic oil?
Hello dear people, I have now driven the new gearbox at my Continental and eliminated all the errors all around. But the automatic makes trouble. When switching up the machine is relatively strong, when switching from the 1st to the 2nd gear. As oil Mannol Dexron III Plus was filled with Mercon V specification and now I wonder if it is also the right oil. I have telephoned with Mannol and got another “Universal Oil” recommended. According to Ford, Mercon must be in there This was changed as far as I know, so that everything that should run with Mercon should now run with Mercon V. The US car dealer from my vicinity was not sure either and I meant to try it with Lubegard Platinum first. This could do wonders, but I really don’t believe it. But well, I have now tipped it in and drove about 80 km with it and noticeably changes. Someone knows this oil and knows if it might be the wrong thing for my gearbox. ? I have built an AX4N. I look forward to your answers.

Purchase advice A2 motorcycle Harz Tour
We want to drive next year with buddies for 7 days in the Harz. I have an A2 driver’s license, but only a 125 MZ ETZ. The buddies are traveling on large machines (80 – 100 HP). I had thought about renting a motorcycle for the time to borrow. However, the rental prices are 80 – 100 € per day. I would rather invest the money in my own motorcycle. That would also have the advantage that I can get familiar with the box before. Which motorcycle is recommended to use the big bike. Is there a good time for 2000 €? I am skilled in craftsmanship and I dare to hand myself. I had thought about buying a Suzuki GS 500. It’s really cheap. However, I’m not sure if this is a fun machine for the mountains. I like the Yamaha SR 500 very well from the look. But here’s the performance and my budget a little short.

Alternator defective on the dispenser vehicle after starting aid?
Hello together! Recently I need (again) start help on my E30, after the light was on over the night. My neighbor then gave me start help. Lief so far quite well. I was able to drive off … all the best! When my neighbor drove away later, his battery ran at some point empty: alternator defective! Can this somehow come from the start help? I already have a guilty conscience because the fun has cost him 400€ repair! My knowledge about cars goes n n ull….

Webasto Preheating does not run – battery too small?
Hello, I had a heater installed in my Hyundai Tucson EZ 06/20 (LU TT-Evo 5 Gasoline Basic). Now after ~10 times the heating does not start. The ventilation function works. In the workshop I was told that the battery is too small. I currently have 70 Ah and would need for min. 77 Ah. – Cost point 250€. Does anyone know the problem? The car and thus the battery are almost new and I also drove enough km to charge the battery.
