  • Harley for rent in Mallorca

Moin together, does any of you have experience with Harley rentals in Mallorca? We might want to go there next year for 14 days in May. Getting our own bikes down is too expensive for us, so we thought about rental moppeds. I found a rental so far, the homepage gives however little about conditions etc.. GreetingSBsF

  • Which oil ? Amsoil, Revtech or SYN 3

I want to change the engine oil soon and am not the best for the moped. Harley Davidson Softail Heritage Classic 96 Cui from 2009. At the moment I have the SYN 3 from HD in it and am superior to how it goes on, because the countless opinions on the oil have not brought me any further. I found online the following offers: Amsoil 20W-50 synthetic 1 Gal. = 60,00€ SYN 3 20W-50 partlyynth. 1 Gal. = 80,00€ RevTech MTP 20W-50 synth.1 Gal. = 64,50€ (each with shipping costs) Pr The oils are not so far apart, so the question is now: What is best to recommend ?

  • Harley for beginners

Once again this sad topic, is a Harley (would like to buy a deluxe) suitable for beginners? To this end: I am 42 years old and certainly don’t want to buy the machine to heat around with it. Find that model really great, have some experience with ne 80 ziger (please don’t laugh), I did not drive for nearly 20 years anymore, but of course ready to make introductory courses etc.. I’m not a “screw” and also no lawyer or doctor and honestly, hang me all this cliché I had a discussion last night with a buddy who has been driving for about 20 bikes and then the whole thing sounded like I had to work up over the 125 to 250 and then over the 1,000 to Harley. It was quite eaten up, because I am about 100 years old when I bought a Harley. The arrogant way also got on my nerves. Do not drive 911, but if I give my buddy’s statements back overextended, then si I’m well aware of the risks of riding a motorcycle, had an accident with my moped at the time and was in the hospital for 6 weeks. So, what do you say?

  • Gas train problem Harley Softail Evo Bj. 96

Hello everyone, I’ve already torn the gas train for 4 times!! Have an Ape handlebar with extended gas train. I bought a New Gas Train from Barnett the first time for 60€ and exchanged it. Until it is torn again I thought it was the cheap 20€ handles that were on the moped. Now Original Harley handles New bought and again a New Gas Train. Then it also held for a long time and thought it was cool it was the handles, was not the case. He always snaps at I don’t know what it could be. Can it have anything to do with the train that it is too long or too short? The guidance of the train is fine with the 90 degree arc that is integrated in the train into the gas handle. Please for help… LG Rene

Hi, I exchange my fully functional Harley Fat Boy (year 1995) with new TÜV (9/20), checkbook maintained (last inspection in 9/18) and Orginal KM for caravans that must also be fully functional, 100% waterproof, valid TÜV and comes from well-kept hands (non-smoking). The Harley can be visited in the area Heidelberg. The caravan should also stand in the area Rhein Neckar (HD-MA-max. KA) and please not be as old as my Harley Bin mainly at WW interests If you are not older than 5 years old and if possible from the manufacturer Sprite or Swift with dtsch. Approval. But you can also offer dtsch. manufacturers. • Wheel hub brake disc

Hello, I have measured in peace and in the course of several days, two 21 x 2.15 front wheels (original spoke / Big Spoke). The reason is that since the assembly of the Big-Spoke front wheel, the brake hums between 30 km/h and 0 km/h disgustingly loud. The brake flange of the Big Spoke lies 5mm further inside and the brake caliper is adapted for this over 5mm Shims. By this measure I wanted to get some clarity about the dimensions. Unfortunately, complete wheels can be very bad and partially e not measured at all. I then circled it over construction. Image attached. Question: Where can one find exact information of the respective Harley type about the distances of the brake discs to the vehicle center ? That the hubs / rims are pushed at the center is probably the normal case. In the specifications of purchaseable wheels one finds quite different dimensional covers. The hub width e.g. is not important – important however the distance of the bearing outer surfaces. Important and not always present is the measure hub itte / brake flange. Here it is also not used so precisely… a la “ca. 80mm”

  • Driving without reflector on the license plate…

Moin Moin has given a significant deficiency (EM) in the last HU investigation because of a lack of reflector/reflector/cat eye, since the pre-owned property is removed (now again), I wanted to ask what punishment there is if you had caught the pre-owned property with it. Or then in season 2019… Of course it makes sense to have one thing to do, just at night when it’s out on the street (rather unlikely). ?

  • Alkolocks

In the last few days I have been following the discussion about the Alkolocks = permanently installed Alkomaten, in which one has to blow soberly before the start of the vehicle, so that it can also start. Should there be soon for Alko repeat offenders instead of driving license withdrawal. Of course there would be much less Alkolenker, if the thing had – as already thought – all handlebars, on the other hand, there would be much less Hausha The question arises for me: How much freedom and how much safety is good and healthy for the human being? So I would throw paving stones, I would have to blow into such a device every time I start my vehicle. Has something of a shackle for non-goers. Oh yes, good morning! eveleddie

  • Help clutch “fresst” C.P.I. Popcorn

Hi everybody, unfortunately it’s still my first post here, maybe someone can help me anyway. My CPI Popcorn behaved like a full brake the other day when I went off the gas. After longer puzzles I screwed up the Vario and saw that the clutch “frisst”, sorry I can’t express it better. On the pictures you should recognize my problem. Can anyone guess what’s broken here? The clutch or the shaft or something else? Thanks for your help!! Andi
