  • 1.8s vs ibiza 1.4 16v

  • Climate defective

    Hello the following question: Today on the highway with wife and child the car suddenly switched on the emergency program on the display it showed only “engine can be destroyed” and “injection check” and “exhaust system check”. Then we let ourselves tow away for the time being only into the workshop of the ADAC partenr… which meant it was only an injector (einspeztüse)n … Since the workshop is 100 km away we let ourselves tow home to our workshop. Which meant it was the control chain ????? Honestly I don’t know what I should believe above all. I would just like to know other opinions none of the two workshops had connected a diagnostic device!!!?!!!   • Engine oil quantity/specification for Renault Megane Grandtour “Bose” year 2015

    Drive the Megane Grandtour “Bose” cdi 130 HP since 7/2015. The supplier recommended an oil change at 3000 km. Just deal with the costs for this oil change. Got from a dealer an offer which was about 195,00 €. That seems incredibly high to me. As information was given to me that an oil quantity of 5.5 l is on alone and this is about 103.00 €. On the internet I found that the oil per litre is only 6.90 €. Thus a Ges 38,00 € for the oil. Does anyone have any experience and does someone consider the dealer’s recommendation for an oil change at approx. 3000 km necessary? Where can you find information about the oil quantity and the specificity for the Megane Grandtour at all? There is nothing in the operating instructions. P.S. Finally, a shortcoming: The return camera at my Bose no longer shows a picture.

  • Cooling water loss

    Hi, everybody! I have to refill about 1 liter of water every day at our Mini One 98PS. He probably does not lose this water by defective hoses or containers, but only in driving operation. I had it pulled off for several hours in the workshop. Loss: negative… At the moment, not the biggest problem, but when the temperatures continue to fall, it makes for a little fun every morning before the start of the journey to make the creepy refill act, but above all that the necessary Frost protection is missing.   • Change fuel filter (without venting)

    Hello, I’m new here in the forum and now I’m trying to be a screwdriver. Currently I have a Renault Master 2.5 dCi 120 and I want to change the fuel filter. Is it possible to change this Renault series without separate venting as far as possible and all right? In this case, I would change the filter relatively easily and let the engine run 3 x 30 seconds without gas for fuel feed, as advised in the forum? If this is not advisable or would not work and the car does not start, can I then fill in a little diesel in the filter as a starting aid in this Renault series? Thanks already in advance Sabine

    Hi, since about 2weeks the engine control light from my Ford Ka BJ.2005, 1.3….now I had ordered a Bluetooth readout adapter that came today, immediately started and there I got the error code P0420: what iwas must have to do with the exhaust system(according to research)….now it can be the cat, Lambdasonde or iwas with the air supply….has someone an idea how I can test it myself or fix it….a new cat costs fast times 150-350€….that the car doesn’t even have more Value….what can I do? thank you!     Hello together, had already posted some time ago, when the interval of my windshield wiper has spun. Now there is nothing more. Windshield wiper is “dead”!!!
