My request to Honda regarding FN2 with Japanese engine
Hello I’m driving a Civic Type-R Bj2005 and would like to buy the new model (FN2). However, I can’t get along with the idea of getting the same performance again with a new car. Since there is the same engine in Japan in the limousine with some modifications (higher compaction, larger throttle fold, polished inlet – 225hp) would be my question, if it would not be possible to order a new car (FN2) with Honda, which is installed from factory immediately a Japanese engine? CTR problems
I don’t know if it’s just my CTR but I have funny problems and didn’t drive 6000 km in a jhar. i hear funny noises from the engine room so shhhhshh scratch but only if I’m in a walk up to low speed but not neutral… every time I go down ireg as steep as in my garage make the rear axle crack…knack noises at 3500 to 4000 is also a funny sound I thought imme the is normal it’s apparently not… in the last time the front axle sounds like loose… I have incredibly many scratchers but no bumps are scratchers because I live in the shitty forest and we don’t have a road ihc doesn’t know I’m driving very slow and was still faster than 180

EBC brake discs
I have another question about the painful topic of braking! With my CTR there is a change of the front brake discs + pads. I want to switch to a slightly more powerful combination on the occasion of course. With the pads I have decided quite clearly for EBC Red-Stuff. Only with the discs I am still unsure. I have already read very different opinions about the Tarox discs. With the SJ rather negative and with the more positive G88. But has anyone ever tested the EBC Turbo Groove discs? http://www.perfectbrakes.de/sportbrakes/index.html I think the EBC pads with the EBC discs should actually harmonize quite well! Which brake combinations have proven themselves with you?

Noise at the CTR
Hi together , now after a long search finally owner of a CTR 30th only unfortunately there are 2 things that disturb me -1. exactly at 2500 turns viebrates any sheet metal or a cover so it sounds like it definitely does not have what it heard with some CTR what was not arranged with some heat protection sheet and it was changed to Kulanz by Honda! ? the plastic cover on the engine (where V-Tec stands on it but it doesn’t hangs nicely free ! ) Where is this cover which has already been exchanged with some CTR ? -2. if I drive faster exactly from 160Km it starts to whistles as if anything is kept in the driving wind comes according to my opinion somewhere from the front air intake ? Have read what some CTR a disc can have resealed it possibly. be that this has called out the noise but once looked down the rubber lies beautifully on the disk on top of the roof it is on only if I can see it high enough to see a large gap between the front window and the front window !

Purchase advice Type R Fk8
Greetings, I have reviewed a grey type R (5tsdkm) today. At the montog test drive and then possibly take it. Drive currently a GT86. Handling super, Power is missing unfortunately. I have already converted it very much, yet I lack the turbo. Does the type R have any childhood diseases? Frequent engine damage? 320Ps are more than enough, denoch denki I into the future and the goal would be to land at some time at about 400Ps. Can the engine handle this? Does the engine last? Are I already extremely happy for the test drive. The grey has also installed the Remus. Gives anything else that I should know? Strange noise Type R FK8
Hello dear community I know such remote analyses are mostly useless, but something worries me. To my “problem”: I drove a short distance in the rain to the restaurant and back again (tank at 40km remaining range). On the way back after a smaller climb, my car made funny noises from the back, somehow like a scratch or hum (almost like a tractor), similar to when the traction control rules in it. It also felt like the car blocked in the rear. So I parked the car directly and looked if I might have a plate. Negative, no plates, no signs of damage and no system message. After restarting the car the noise was also gone again. I had this problem already at -5 degrees on a mountain with lots of snow, there I thought that it was on the snow which may have been deposited between the rims (tank full or at least half full there). But when the rain was there, I can’t happen to be worried about it. Now I have a 70km return journey today and I don’t want to break the car. Does anyone know that or has an idea what the Vorrau could be.

Ignition keys and radio
Hello, I have two problems with our Smart 451 Bj. 2014 with approx. 56 tkm. First, when pressing the key to open it flashes about 6 times very fast. With the Ersartz key normally 3 times. Second, when the engine starts again after a stop at the traffic light, the radio goes off every time, but also goes on again. These are only small problems, but disturb me nevertheless. Maybe someone knows about it here and can help.
