Opel Agila 1.2 16 V (H00) extreme oil consumption
Opel Agila 1.2 16V EZ 06/2004 158,000 km Engine Z12XE, H00 FIN W0L0HAF684G063582 Engine displacement 1199 Of course I tried the search function. No error messages with my OBD2 scanner, no control lights. The compression is ok. Hi we take at you have a little bit of money over, so 350€ + annual tax compensation 2001 (net much) and drive a small C180 ́97, had before a W124 300E and could almost cry if you see a 300E on the road, or even on the highway easily overtake you and you in your C180 sit and think “Yes earlier, before there was everything even better” =) well, now to the point : I know not if so good was to have bought a C180. PRO: I did not want to have a 1300DM DM in the year tax pay and not all 1000KM 1liter oil or have a consumption of 15-20litres, therefore the C180. CONTRA: I say it’s actually full ok the small, little PS, little space, no 6zyl. sound, no seat heating, no sliding roof and and and… but it comes with niveu from A to B. in the last year I really got used to it! also pay only 92€ tax in the year and the consumption is also ok I come over 350KM with a tank filling =). I’m just ma 22 years young have a “normal” job and actually want to go net for the car. Now finally my question: Should I put the charcoal in the C180 and make it really chic, or sell (with loss without ending) and then buy me another 6zyl. Gearbox repairer Southwest Germany Trafic 2
Dear community, I have (unfortunately?!) bought a Trafic 2 DCi 140 2.5 liters built in 2005 with 160000km. Unfortunately, after the purchase it turned out that something has to be done on the gearbox. The switch shaft which can be seen outside the gearbox has a lot of play. 1., 2. and reverse gear do not go well in or you have to pay sensitive attention to the right snap. No noise makes the gearbox special. Does someone know a operation in the southwest of Germany that such a gear is work incl. installation and removal could make, so you can recommend it? Would be very grateful for tips!

Pictures of the timing belt
Hello together ! Can only recommend everyone to change the timing belt in time. I already reported about it in another thread. Here you see a picture how such a belt looks after 57000 km. Clearly one sees deep bars, left outside, moreover the timing belt runs completely outside because of a defective clamping device and grinds easily. Hair cracks are also to be seen !! After the disassembly it turned out that the water pump licked minimally. Performed work: timing belts, Renewed pulley, belt tensioner; water pump renewed ! Coolant completely replaced for high-tech SF 12 stirred with distilled water ! Material costs: Euro 195,– bought on the internet at DW repair I decided for a kit from Gates, the pump came from SKZ; labor costs: 0,– Euro and a bottle of beer for Papa. Of course this was a shitty scuffing. Most of the problems were caused by this stupid engine bearing, without its removal the timing belt change would be a child’s play. S The removal of all plastic claddings, especially the connecting pipe to the charging air cooler, was also very time-consuming. I glued the water pump with high-temperature silicone for safety reasons, because we had the impression that the O-ring could leak at some point. The friendly person would have asked for the working Euro 740,– incl. material. And now he purrs again like a tiger and the conscience is calmed.
