  • W463a / W465 Roof beams ex works – questions

Hello together. I just browsed through the roof beams threads for the G in the forum – which relate largely to the W463. In this case the beams were attached to the roof ring ? at the current W463a and W465 there are extra recording points on the roof itself. Maybe you can help me with various questions: 1. Wind noises: – are acceptable but still quite strong – have found here a “windshield at LeTech” with illuminationhttps://lennartz-techni k.de/…/https://lennartz-technik.de/…/ – has someone here experience whether this is worth it with regard to wind noises ? – does someone know if there is this even without lighting (which I don’t need) and drives the price certainly also to the height 2. roof load – in the manual is what with 150kg dynamic (when driving) – was the in the old W463 higher ? – if I see so what was packed there so everything on the roof – would I say there come inclusive roof carriers gladly times 200-300 kg together ? – with 150kg like the wearer himself (about 55kg) you can still put on just under 100kg what a roof tent almost eats up …. – how is this handled in practice among the experienced here ?

  • Opel Agila 1.2 16 V (H00) extreme oil consumption

Opel Agila 1.2 16V EZ 06/2004 158,000 km Engine Z12XE, H00 FIN W0L0HAF684G063582 Engine displacement 1199 Of course I tried the search function. But either it was not dissolved or it was a bit different than with my car… The Agila has an extremely high oil consumption: about 1 l on 200 km!!!! No error messages with my OBD2 scanner, no control lights. The compression is ok. There is no smoke from the exhaust (only after downhill and then give back gas briefly a white No oil stains under the car, no oil in the cooling water, no cooling water in the oil. The two spark plugs towards the driver’s side are slightly oily at the contacts. With open oil filler nozzle and running engine it blows out easily – there should actually be a vacuum? In the stand I sometimes notice a petrol smell, which I can’t locate. And in the end pot he has a small hole down. In the idle with warm engine I have held my ear very close to it, to the light To locate bells (from the driver’s side to the passenger’s side to the steering chain): The quietest is on the driver’s side (with the oily spark plugs), the loudest over the two right (i.e. passenger’s side) cylinders, over the steering chain it becomes quieter again. I can’t judge performance loss because I bought the car already with the problem and that is my first Agila. On steep mountains it is difficult, on the highway (level track) it manages 140 km/h, in the cityve I changed the valve cover seal because the old one was torn when the valve cover was removed. But didn’t cause any change. I wonder where the lot of oil goes? When it is burned, the box would have to smoke like sow, wouldn’t it? How can I tell whether it is the valve support seals, the ZKD or the piston rings without taking the engine apart? Somewhere else I have read something from Simmerring to the gearbox, there would have to be But I’ve got to get out of here, haven’t I?

  • The cheapest way to drive top class!

Good day! First of all: I don’t plan on getting a car next time nor do I want to get people to nagging around on the thread for whatever reasons. I’m thinking about what’s the cheapest way to be on the road with more cars. We set the price limit at 10,000-15,000 €. Of course, it’s important that the fixed costs and consumption are low. Furthermore, the reliability should be reasonably correct. I rely on people who already have such a Fa Then I start: Nissan Maxima: so from 98, with 2.0 V6 140 hp, full equipment, around 500€, cheap insurance, consumption according to manufacturer 9 liters Her with ideas! Greeting sumerum

  • Change of timing belt

Hello guys, I have a C180 at 100000 km. When should timing belts be changed? And where can I have the cheapest change? Would I be very happy to answer! Thank you very much

  • What would you do in my place?

Hi we take at you have a little bit of money over, so 350€ + annual tax compensation 2001 (net much) and drive a small C180 ́97, had before a W124 300E and could almost cry if you see a 300E on the road, or even on the highway easily overtake you and you in your C180 sit and think “Yes earlier, before there was everything even better” =) well, now to the point : I know not if so good was to have bought a C180. PRO: I did not want to have a 1300DM DM in the year tax pay and not all 1000KM 1liter oil or have a consumption of 15-20litres, therefore the C180. CONTRA: I say it’s actually full ok the small, little PS, little space, no 6zyl. sound, no seat heating, no sliding roof and and and… but it comes with niveu from A to B. in the last year I really got used to it! also pay only 92€ tax in the year and the consumption is also ok I come over 350KM with a tank filling =). I’m just ma 22 years young have a “normal” job and actually want to go net for the car. Now finally my question: Should I put the charcoal in the C180 and make it really chic, or sell (with loss without ending) and then buy me another 6zyl. C280? finally it’s my decision, but I’m so cunning! what would you do ? thxle and sry for the eternal confusing text =) date eater:http://www.motor-talk.de/attachment.php?s=&postid=128145

  • Gearbox repairer Southwest Germany Trafic 2

Dear community, I have (unfortunately?!) bought a Trafic 2 DCi 140 2.5 liters built in 2005 with 160000km. Unfortunately, after the purchase it turned out that something has to be done on the gearbox. The switch shaft which can be seen outside the gearbox has a lot of play. 1., 2. and reverse gear do not go well in or you have to pay sensitive attention to the right snap. No noise makes the gearbox special. Does someone know a operation in the southwest of Germany that such a gear is work incl. installation and removal could make, so you can recommend it? Would be very grateful for tips!

  • TT vs. Z4 >> Purchase decision sought

Hello, I’m looking forward to the decision TT 3,2 DSG or Z4 3,0i with SMG or has circuit. I think I’ll find the Pro TT people here 😉 If you’ve been standing before the same question as me, why did you choose the TT? How are you satisfied and would you do it again? How are you satisfied with the Audi Sevice during and after the guarantee? Thank you and greeting Stefan

  • Pictures of the timing belt

Hello together ! Can only recommend everyone to change the timing belt in time. I already reported about it in another thread. Here you see a picture how such a belt looks after 57000 km. Clearly one sees deep bars, left outside, moreover the timing belt runs completely outside because of a defective clamping device and grinds easily. Hair cracks are also to be seen !! After the disassembly it turned out that the water pump licked minimally. Performed work: timing belts, Renewed pulley, belt tensioner; water pump renewed ! Coolant completely replaced for high-tech SF 12 stirred with distilled water ! Material costs: Euro 195,– bought on the internet at DW repair I decided for a kit from Gates, the pump came from SKZ; labor costs: 0,– Euro and a bottle of beer for Papa. Of course this was a shitty scuffing. Most of the problems were caused by this stupid engine bearing, without its removal the timing belt change would be a child’s play. S The removal of all plastic claddings, especially the connecting pipe to the charging air cooler, was also very time-consuming. I glued the water pump with high-temperature silicone for safety reasons, because we had the impression that the O-ring could leak at some point. The friendly person would have asked for the working Euro 740,– incl. material. And now he purrs again like a tiger and the conscience is calmed.
