  • Buying advice Jimny / Suitable for winter, or better choose other vehicle?

Hello guys, first of all I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas! Now to my question. I am a commuter and every now and then already before the clearance service on the road, because I have to leave very early in the morning. Therefore I am looking for a vehicle, which offers a certain ground clearance and best one, (to switch on?), four-wheel drive. Also the car should not be too expensive. Personally I would like the Jimny quite well, however, one hears that this would not be the “best figure” in winter, because of short wheelbase etc. Therefore I would like to hear your opinion, as experts, in order to avoid a mispurchase. PS: I drive already about 24000km a year and I would use the car only on the road. Thank you already, for your advice!

  • Kaufberatung / 5k-10k EUR, ca 10tkm p.a.

Hello community! In spring or summer there is a car purchase – my first real “own” car, since so far a family car was always available. Background: Study finished, good job prospects, end 20, single – no special space requirements, no garage, 30% insurance available, probably little KM annual performance (> petrol), probably rather little “capital” available at once – i.e. possibly financial purchase, maybe even leasing? Where I don’t want a new car… After the Mot to: A lot of car for the money falls my attention on an e39 5 BMW, because there is IMHO quite a lot of car, with mostly good equipment for relatively little money. Maintenance costs do not have to be quite so low, however calculable. What the car should have is Xenon, ESP and cruise control, optional leather. I also like the Audis – A4 8E or A3 8P, but they are comparatively still quite expensive. If I had a garage and more mum, then maybe I would even after my dream car e24 look around *schwärm* At some point I’ll pick up a second car like this… if the prices have not already gone into exorbitant… So, I’m curious what else you have to recommend to me. I like to read in forums, and browse in mobile/autoscout to get a feeling for the prices.

  • Purchase advice MERCEDES G WOLF

Hello, I am interested in a Mercedes G Wolf. Can you give me some information about the different engines? But the 72hp engine is too small for me, I want to get wood in the forest and do forest work in general, but also drive normally on the road. How many locks does the wolf have and which ones? How is it with the switch-on all-wheel? Can I use this also on normal road, like with the VW Iltis? Can I switch it on while driving? Can I use this en G-cars also pull heavy trailers, because of the gearbox? How much is the official trailer load? Would not really be happy about some answers!! Best regards Jochen Sturm

  • ADAC breakdown statistics

Hello. If my eyes don’t deceive me, according to ADAC-AutoMarxX, the SAAB is in the penultimate place in the latest breakdown statistics. Almost the final light, so to speak. In this statistics, new vehicles were evaluated preferably. I had to be very surprised… Source: Auto Straßenverkehr 12/2004

  • Noelle “Where the dealer buys” -Unfortunately we too

Hello have just heard from my husband about this forum. Unfortunately too late. Because on Tuesday 18.09.07 we were in Wuppertal – just 300 km we drove – and bought us a car there. I can only confirm some things: – The seller was not very friendly (I say something put on friendly) and made sexist remarks – The seller turned around when we wanted to act (according to the motto: I don’t need your money) TROTZDEM we were so cuddly there z u buy :-((( – During the ride my husband found (he drove in front of me) that a light did not go forward – at home we saw that the tires are flat (our mistake?! probably also) – If you get into the car and go off is ALWAYS the air conditioning turned on *brrrr* – price? Hmm, what should I say? I believe the price for a Ford Focus Bj 01/06 with 41,000 km and air conditioning, board computer, central locking FB (that was already with the extras) for 12,286 € (dealer price approx. 400 € less) is OK. With a letter and without overpassing costs (had a 5-day license plate included) If someone wants to tell me something about it: Always out with the language. Always like to learn 😉 Maybe someone can tell me where to buy good cheap tyres 🙂 Otherwise, I or can we just say: No need??? For us not again! !

  • Find a new small car

Hi, I’m looking for another small car and wanted to ask you about your opinion. At the moment I drive a Peugeot 206 (3-door, built in 2002, 75hp) and am totally dissatisfied with it. I have the car now almost 4 years and I had to have almost everything repaired because the car has always had some other problem. Now I am looking for another small car that costs as little in the conversation as my Peugeot. I am at the DEVK u nd pay quarterly 98€ insurance and annual 91€ taxes. I drive to 55 or 50%. What I really like would be the new Seat Ibiza or the new Ford Fiesta. Problem is a new car I can not afford therefore I am superior to an annual car or demonstration model. It should not be older than 3 years and should have more than 75hp. It should also not cost more than 10,000€. Many advise me from Ford and others again the opposite. About Seat could tell me Since I have had very bad experience with my first car until I’m a little skeptical. What would you recommend to me, it doesn’t have to be decided between Ford or Seat, I’m also open to other brands. As long as the car doesn’t last and lasts longer 🙂 Thank you for your help!!

  • M271.860 EVO / SIM271DE20 last MB Software level 200CGI reprogramming possible to 250CGI ?

Hello and Merry Christmas Since I have access to various software & hardware, the following question to the programmers. Can the SIM271DE20 with the latest software available from MB simply be reprogrammed in the variants configuration with Vediamo from 200CGI to 250CGI? Are all parameters of the 250er automatically entered after the changes (after reset) from the 250er? There are various parameters in the control unit and the 250CGI with the M271.860 has no other control unit keep quiet another engine, turbo, injectors etc. That says EPC! The braking system might have to be adapted, but I will then clarify this if I succeed at TÜV. I am not concerned about the 20hp more power (do not drive my vehicles completely at my age anyway), I would like to have more torque available. The engine was just at approx.86.000km with chain demolition completely overtaken by me and I would have had a second overhauled M271.860 by now. The “reduced performance” engines die without notice far before the 100,000km limit with chain damage etc. although they are consistent like my “MB checkbook well maintained” and always only the original MB 5W40 (MB229.5 release) has been filled in. Of course, the whole is registered on success, so please also no answers from any teachers. Greetings and thanks for your answers (also by PN) Michael

  • Suzuki GSX 1100 E

Hello, Suzifriends! Since May of this year I have been the owner of a GSX 1100 E, Bauj. 87. The machine now has a driving performance of 60 000 km and is in good condition. However, I have a problem: when the gas goes down, at approx. 80 km/h, very strong steering vibrations are detected. Free-hand driving is not possible – there is a constant feeling of uncertainty, which was never the case with other motorcycles. And at high speeds in long-drawn cure The machine swings up and there are dangerous situations. To meet this, new steering head bearings were installed, re-tired and balanced and looked after on track of front and rear wheel. The problem persists. Now I would like to know if this is a known lack and how to meet it.
