  • Brakes in front grind a little…

Hello Together, have a Smart 451 Fortwo BJ. 2012 with 48 tkm. I noticed a short time ago that the brakes are a bit grinding and give a metallic sound while driving slowly. I noticed when changing tyres when I turned the wheel by hand. Since then I ask myself if this is so normal? The wheels can be rotated with the hand but a small resistance is noticeably more times less when turning. At the TÜV 6 months ago no abnormalities had occurred. Brake fluid was made recently at ATU. The old brake fluid was pressed through on all 4 wheels. With two videos… Is the disc and surface still in order? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSS6gHnxkjshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBreHeFaUpc

  • So now Cali driver: my new 16V & the first questions

Hey folks, since last weekend I’m proud and very happy owner of a Calibra 16V, year 92. The car is in absolute original condition – including the cool, square double pipe exhaust and the ugly Vectra 2000 Gulli cover rims), almost completely stacked, from 3rd hand and has fresh TÜV. I had to get used to the Magmarot, but now it is really cool, because still very shiny and nowhere matt. Apart from that, I noticed that a nice rich red shiny car quite stands out from the crowd. The AB drive from GÖ to B went well yesterday and very fun: the engine is really powerful in the feed. Until 2 months ago I drove Vectra V6 automatic and since yesterday I have the feeling that the Vectra was either very bad or the Cali runs very well. What the 5th gear moves away and above 200 km/h still nice at speed, I found a very impressive. And even though I drove the machine very easily?

  • W123 240D org 93 tkm, 1st hand

Hello people, our grandmother gives up driving. She is 93 years old and thinks it’s getting too dangerous on the road ;-), no, she doesn’t get basic security from the community and can’t afford the car anymore. She is the first owner and bought the car 25 years ago (then with her husband). The car was always maintained and maintained in a Mercedes workshop (the two had a flower shop and no idea of the bolts). The mileage is correct. The car was recently partially painted (cot wings and doors), the engine compartment looks very clean. The dashboard is not torn (garage car), the seats have no holes, the construction board looks quite good so far. I once put myself under it and could see that the Simmerring on the differential gear (to the cardan shaft) is leaking. Also the Simmerring of the gear shaft seems to be leaking. At the oil tray you probably only have to pull the screws or replace the seal. Color: this Mercedes green without a metal effect, slightly brighter than the Olivgreen of the German Army?

  • “The Big Berta” from my son – 200 D W115/8 Year 1974

Hi friends of the /8er. Wanted to show you what happens if you always give a car only underbody protection, but do not clean the water drains in the car and neglect the disc seals, or not keep them tight. We have placed the car on the side and will now give it a NEW underbody and renew all other rotted sheets. Also the tank, the radiator carrier and the shock absorber shots – for the time being -!!! Will report about it at regular intervals. Tomorrow I start at my green 280 CE. There are then also pictures, Many greetings Dieter

  • Consumption Ibizia 2018 way too high

Hi, as already stated in the title, my Seat Ibiza from 2018 consumes 42% too much, in numbers : 6,7 instead of indicated 4,7 liters. I read that from 10% more consumption on the test bench it is a considerable defect and one can claim a return or some kind of compensation from the seller. Therefore, my question, have you experience with it, it is worth having an expert opinion; or do I rather not have a chance because that is normal that the consumption is so much higher under real conditions. I also have to attach that I have raised a little wider tires, 215 instead of 185; can it come therefore? Am for every answer grateful Tim

  • Short davo…… decision for Scenic?

Hello all, I’m about to buy a Grand Scenic 2.0 Gasoline Avantage. He has asserted himself with me over Corolla Verso, Mazda 5, Zafira, Ford C-Max. (Touran and C4 Picasso were also briefly observed). Are there any thought-provoking arguments against this decision?? Are I also happy about confirmation. Finally, it was the driving feeling. The car offers me a very high seating and driving comfort. Maybe there is something that I could not do during the several short test drives. Above all, I am interested in experiences from the longer use, whereby I have read that the quality should have increased significantly in recent years. Are the seats of the 3rd row suitable for short distances, or alibi seats like in CV and Mazda?? (body size 160 -173cm). Thank you for your reviews PC-2005

  • Search Springleg for W220 Air suspension S500 Bj. 99

The damper is damp and, according to DB, leaks and thus defective. Search now urgently needed replacement to reasonable course. Part is the damper at the back right. If someone has something like this lying down, or knows where I get one, this would be a great action. in advance best thanks. mfg. M.B. Since I am only occasionally in the forum please contact us at: [email protected] Thank you in advance.

  • – OT- The S-Class driver – How long has he been a Mercedes customer? What did he buy?

    A question in the Dr.Dennis style (I always find her “OT” questions very interesting and dare it now.) My question is in the title. In our family the Mercedes story started in 1974 with a W116 450SEL and since then it went on. Here is a small list of our previous stars: 1x 450SEL W116 1x 280TE S123 1x 500SL R107 1x GD300 W460 2x 500SEL W126 1x 560SEL W126 1x 500SL R129 1x 500E W124 1x C220CDI W203 1x 600SEL W140 (still in possession) Mercedes customers satisfied for 36 years. • Clio 2 warning light electric and water pump symbol

Hello Clio Fans, I ask you to be familiar with this problem and model. At our Clio 2 campus year 2006 first lighted up after the great rain. But the car was mobile. Today the symbol for the water pump also lit up and the car suddenly slowed down. My wife stopped for five minutes and afterwards could carry the vehicle carefully home:-) I found that about 1.2 l of cooling water was missing. I marked the filling level and drove a round. The cooler temperature had remained constant, but this control lamp for the water pump still glows as before. The warning lamp for the electrics did not appear any more. At home the water level in the container had dropped about 2 cm. There is no leak on either a hose or on the ground. Now I am at a loss. Can someone please give me a hint where the cause of this error might lie? thank you

  • Flashed :'(

and I was flashed. within a closed location with 55kmh(abzgl) where a permissible speed of 30kmh was allowed. now my question.I didn’t get a referral, but only the demonstration, for which I should make information about the travelling person. do I get a point now? if yes, does this have an impact on my trial time? edit: have just found on the page that I get 1 point. has it done with the pukt or does something else come to me (probe time) what actually happens,if I say someone else has driven?
