Now the new owner sent me an estimate of the cost of his VW-Autohaus-Werkstatt with a horenten sum, and demanded from now the purchase price refund, because he did not expect such high TÜV costs and now makes me responsible. on the cost estimate there are among others positions like HU-main investigation, dekra service, inspection, oil change, … I am not responsible for this after all? Furthermore, these are mainly wear parts (EZ 2002, 217,000km) which in my opinion are no defects. He also accuses me that I did not let the vehicle look through in a workshop before I sold it. (Who does that?) Now, if I don’t transfer the money, he wants to sue me for an arrogant deception. Does he have a chance with it in court?!

    Hello, dear motor-talker! Once again, I’m talking about short-distance driving. The fact is that the wear is increased as long as the engine is still cold and has not yet reached its operating temperatures, including operating fluids. However, this is inevitable, because even before a long-distance driving starts the ride with cold engine. Problem is, however, that when a cold start and when driving in cold conditions, fuel/condensation water is used in the oil cycle in small quantities. This is only neutralized again by a longer journey in a warm condition. However, if you keep driving short distances and turn off the vehicle cold again, if you leave the engine no chance to remove the accumulated fuel/water from the circuit again. Thus, the dilution increases more and more. So I understood the whole thing once, please correct me if I am wrong. But now to my actual question: Is it possible at all, for example, by a longer motorway ride to get the undesirable substances that arise from the short distance operation out of the oil? In other words, is a one-hour motorway ride sufficient to “regener” the motor oil after a week of pure short distance again?

    Hello everyone, I urgently need your support: On 10.05 I bought a 3 BMW – 323i – 1 HD, 110tsd run – EZ: 06/1999 – Garagenfahrzeug & Chescheheftgepflegt – TÜV&AU New On 11.05 the “first” ride: 290km overpass into the Ruhr area. The following problems occurred now (which did not occur during the test drive!) 1) At a certain accelerator position it whistles out of the engine room 2) during the ride the MKL went on .. was after that 1 week, lights up since yesterday again 3 ) when getting out squeaks and snorts everywhere at the car 4) Splash protection plate for brakes at the front left, rattles abnormally loud and is very unpleasant to me, all people turn around already 🙁 5) lt. Workshop: crossbars no longer available 6) Underbody full of rust (lt dealer is the underbody completely rust-free, otherwise we would not have bought the car at all) 7) lt. Workshop: Brakes Front are due now 8) All 4 shock absorbers must be renewed, 1 shock absorber already oils, the 2 rear are completely rusty 9) when shaking on the rear wheel squeaks again the complete car 10) lt. workshop rear axle no longer ok, was painted black (?) possibly also because of rust What should I do? The dealer is 290km away! Has written in the contract: 1 year warranty on engine and transmission Should I drive to a BMW workshop again tomorrow? Can I drive by car at all 290km? MKL lights up now What are my rights with the dealer? Is this now simply m a bad luck? Can you return the car? It cost me 4350€ + transfer and registration costs (130€) PS: Car passed the Tüv on 10.05, without defects
