  • ReImport 451

Moin, I’ve bought a 451 mhd coupe from 2010 on the WE. I was thrilled and then looked at the documents at home. And there I saw, that the first delivery was probably in Belgium. The first two stamps in the service booklet came from Smart Belgium. After that the first inspection at 3500 km Smart Aachen made. So it is probably a reimport. The seller had not mentioned that. but well, I could have looked at the service booklet also exactly. My question now to you, have reimports any disadvantages? One reads in sales ads time and again the note: no reimport. So does it seem to be a positive sales argument? Greeting, Stefan

  • After the first weekend a few questions.

Sooo.. the first weekend with my new Smart 451, Bj 10/2010 61PS MHD in the Pure equipment is around. Saturday he was converted to Softouch, and since then I really have a lot of fun with him. My questions now: According to the Smart Workshop everything is technically top, with his 86.900km he is in a very good maintained condition. Optically he has unfortunately 1-2 flaws but for that it fits with the price. 1. Question even if the workshop told me the steering is top, he pulls above all on the highway from about 100km clearly to the right when the steering wheel is standing. Is it on the road? 2. Did the Smart likes to take away from Spurrillen etc. Generally I have the feeling that he is a bit rume on the highway, but I have also read about it that it is the low weight and wheelbase. Or should I rather let a wheel measure it? 2. Does this make the Softouch automatic with the time to adjust to my driving style very nicely, but I’ve always started with 4 gear automatics. Here he is quick to get used for the ride.

  • Align aggregators B3 ?

Hello to the forum, I am not getting any further with my B3 (Audi 80 Bj. 88 PM-Motor and KAS-Automatik) at the moment. Somehow I am standing completely on the hose and ask for your help. I just recently bought the car and quickly found out that the distance between the wheel and fender to the right and left are not the same. OK, the car was not really expensive, but just. At first I thought it was a track error, but after the setting it only came out what I initially thought was a wheel offset between right and left of 11 mm. I have now changed for safety both lateral handlebars and both supporting joints with the success that optically everything is again with – bad – old. But from below there is no frame delay visible. The U protection and everything, nothing points to an accident. Can one align the aggregate as such or are the holes only intended for one position of the assembly? Thanks in advance Heiko

  • Seat heating – replace old, original heating wires with new heating wires?! Who has tips?

Hello community, someone might have an idea what exact values the heating wires have in the C4 seats? I found 2 cushions of heated leather seats in the basement today. Lean and seat. Both are due to multimeters the heating wires. The temperature sensor in the seat still has resistance, so is at least still existing. The experience has shown that a patched, 22 year old heating wire usually no longer has eternal life and at the next possibility breaks elsewhere. I had therefore thought earlier to replace the old heating wires with new wires with the same values. The installation of a modern carbon heating is not an option for me. I would have the new wires slanted, following the course of the old cables… in slots, which I would cut into the cushions obliquely. After inserting them into the slots, I would probably stick the slots. So the wires remain free of glue, which I do not necessarily consider as a disadvantage. • I’ve lost the anticipation of my CRV!

In January I got rid of my CRV 2.2 diesel, Exe (almost full equipment, bright leather, DVD-Navi …), which I ordered in October. Before I did of course a test drive (not in my equipment variant) and was pleasantly surprised. I drove AUDI for 17 years (already the 6th new car – A80, A4, TT … – always with upscale equipment and good motorization) and was always very satisfied. Now I wanted a SUV and ended up with Honda for various reasons. But above all because of the high customer satisfaction, the good technology, the excellent diesel engine and because the CRV just looks awesome. For some time I read this forum here and from post I lose the pleasure of my new car. If I catch everything together, the CRV is a garbage car with lots of faults, defects and dissatisfied buyers? Is that just my “I have not been able to say anything more about my car look.

  • My new addition

The jump of Audi A4, on Honda CR-V, was for me at first a risk and initially connected with some sleepless nights and a little skepticism. However, I did not regret the decision until now. That the petrol engine would build up a little bit more fuel than the diesel was clear to me. Have now finally, a few days ago my CR-V EXE, beige leather, gasoline car. with Navi package and several other extras in Sparkle Grey Pearl received. I really am very satisfied with everything up to now. Top equipment and workmanship. I am fully satisfied with my vehicle selection. Of the somewhat vulnerable plastic covering, (especially B-sail, entry rails and loading edge) as it is often presented by many, is in the bright design no objection on my part. Dark rubber tracks of the shoes, at door entry and in the passenger room, are still very easy to wipe away with a damp cloth. Overall, the beige plastic with a super moist cloth is easy to clean. Also, the Navi, the audio system and the free-to-be working properly up to 50, however, still has no problem with the audio equipment.

  • Test drive CR-V as petrol

Hello, the whole weekend had the opportunity to try out the new CR-V intensely. Here are my short impressions: Positive: Overall a super driving equipment with a CLASS radio system, which really makes fun at the HOEHEN. The petroler purrs like a cat and can be really very switch-faul driving, which I personally like. The processing is fine, as far as I could see. Luggage room and space offer I find excellent. Drive BMW at the moment and have felt it very nice to sit a bit higher and have a good overview of the road. The car can be driven like a normal station wagon. Enough storage possibilities available. Negative: – no flip-key – Fits just like that in the garage when I open the mirror This could be the new family car. Because in the Momant I know no alternative.

  • “Invoice test” / Experience values

Hello dear community, I absolutely need your swarm knowledge / experience. It is a Smart For Two, built in 2005, gasoline with 45KW, (981 / 001), MC01, with air conditioning The following story (in short form). My starter was demonstrably defective. So I commissioned a good friend to replace the starter. So because the starter was so tight he did not get it and handed this matter over to a car workshop of his trust. The whole prework (stock bar, fenders dismantle, parts of the engine etc.) he had already done before. So the workshop should only replace the starter. In good faith that this did not cost the world then he caused it there. The end of the song was that only the exchange and a new starter cost 78€! The assembly (stough rod, etc.) should have done again my good friend. In good faith that this did not cost the world a lot of VAT. The end of the song was that only the exchange and a new starter cost 78€! The assembly (stough, etc.) should not have been justified for this reason to make this good or to make it completely justified.
