Hello, Sicherung 6 MB Sprinter Bj 2000 for turn signals, windscreen wipers, fans, burn through. Sprinter 903 brake pedal soft
Moin dear MTler, I have a Sprinter 903 with which the brake pedal is very soft, so also very low braking performance. I have aired the system several times, also with the Star diagnosis. It is good every time for 1-2 days afterwards and then the brake pedal becomes soft again. Brake lines and hoses etc. everything is tight, there is no brake fluid missing. I exclude vacuum system because the pedal would otherwise be hard or then it wouldn’t be better after the airing. Has anyone had this before? The HBZ is already new. I suspect a defect in the ABS control block. Would I be happy about some answers. MfG

Purchase price for Smart Fortwo 451?
Hello, I am currently still in my studies, but would like to buy me a small car as soon as I am working full-time, which is suitable for the (large) city and rural area. I would like to have a smart since long ago, because it fits well to my requirements, i.e. small, two-seater, automatic and good for city and country trips. Since I have no experience in buying a car, I wanted to ask what you think is a “reasonable purchase price” and how many kilometers the smart should have maximum on it? I will not become a frequent driver, maybe short motorway rides, but no more. Is the higher price of the 451 compared to the 450? I once read that the automatic was improved in 451. My budget is thus 4000-500€, is that realistic?

Say hello, think my little report could be quite helpful to some, since I’ve already seen some power diagrams that are very similar. I had the following problem on my R: The torque course was Sch… (Please don’t say a 2 litre vacuum cleaner has no torque anyway). So at about 4000 revolutions there was a moment break to approx. 160 NM. On the diagram it looked as if he was trying to fix something. From about 5800 upm it was 190 NM again. Feeling like the car was going monstrous because of the kick effect at 5800 upm, at least for drivers who don’t know the R. Long speech, short sense errors in the control unit. Errors were deleted after a small tour he was standing in again. (no engine control light on) control units were exchanged one after the other. As last (after months of searching) however, there was a message from Hr. Honda which referred to the control unit in the fuse box (?known problem?). Backup box was completely exchanged (seeking now the 8 of the work). As soon as I have understood something else for the warranty.

Hiho gave my baby a full wash again (of course by hand) and with terrified found that the front rims can no longer be freed from the brake dust.
