  • Carburettor, but which one??CFM???

    I don’t have a single part of it yet. I want to do it all together, because every part of it has to be right on the other side. But when choosing the carburetor I don’t quite know?! Can I calculate the CFM? If yes, how? Do I need to know the final performance that I want to give my engine to select the carburetor based on the size or the flow rate? Many advise me to nem Edelbrock, others to nem Holley. They say it is difficult to adjust. That makes me stubborn. help anyone to do that?? Thank you.

  • Unbalanced joint shaft

    Over the winter I have renewed the completely worn middle bearing of my joint shaft. It is behind the gearbox in front of the push piece of the shaft. With the old bearing I had a “rappling” under the car at certain speeds. Today I made the first bigger ride, and the rappling is indeed gone, but it vibrates tremendously and only around 60km/h. At higher speeds it completely disappears, it runs e.g. 100km/h absolutely calm. My question: Has already m If someone wants to balance a joint shaft, and if so, where and what does that cost?? Or could this also have other causes vibrating? Doesn’t feel like tire imbalance, the steering wheel remains completely calm, but the whole car “shakes”. No nice driving… Can anyone help?

  • Scooter no longer has the power to start!

    Good day. I bought a Sym Jet 50 R 2 timer since Nov 2014. I did the 500 he inspection and always ran very well. Last week I drove down the mountain he ran 60-63 kmh loud tacho.(According to tacho straight track also 60 kmh) When the mountain went up he also ran 45-50 kmh and got slow on the straight at once. And slowly but also slowly went back to the 50 stopped again to 50 went up again. Since that he needed forever until he speeded up. So until he comes at 50 kmh. And he sounds dull from the sound. Ok I made to the dealer directly the 2nd inspection and explained the problem. That he no longer has the power as at the beginning. According to dealer the scooter has nothing. Carburettor cleaned, vario rolls changed, ignition candle air filter etc. The piston would be ok. But the scooter simply has no more power. As if the 1-2 Ps has less. So it is cruel when cars are behind me and I need totally long until he drives 50 kmh. I notice e simply that he has at least 30% less power.

  • Benero Roller doesn’t start anymore

    Hello dear community, I bought a Benero scooter 2 days ago, I cleaned the carburetor and the spark of the candle is also there. Only he just doesn’t want to pick up. I just can’t think of anything I could still do. I hope you can help me and maybe give me tips on what this might be.

  • TGB Tapo 50 Built 2010 – Roller went off during the ride –

    Hello dear members, I made a nice trip to the surrounding area of Berlin today. After about 20 kilometers without problems or similar, my scooter simply went out while driving.Roller: TGB Tapo 50 – BH-1(2-stroke), built in 2010 with 7300 kilometers on the speedometer.Situation: After about 20 kilometers under a lot of full gas, my scooter suddenly had a power drop.The speedometer needle, went back to about 15 km/h, with 3/4 at the gas grip. I immediately took away the gas and the scooter d I gave again a bit of gas (about 1/5 at the gas handle), the scooter caught again and the speed increased to maximum speed. After I drove a few hundred meters further, I took the gas completely back, afterwards it became very slow and went out. I then turned off the scooter and let it cool down. After about 20 minutes I tried to start it, unfortunately without success. I tried the whole thing then about 2 hours (E- and Ki) The scooter is now about 20 kilometers away in the middle of a village. What could cause such a sudden power drop? The scooter otherwise ran perfectly and never had any starting difficulties. When kicking, I noticed bezin smell. My guess that it might be the spark plug. Since I had no tools with it, I could not check it. Wanted to go back tomorrow morning and the Zün dkerze expand and check if there is a spark. (hold the plug in the plug against the frame and kick, right?) Can it be the CDI? Would the scooter catch and continue with defective CDI, as I described it in my situation. Would be very grateful about help, as I would not otherwise know how to get the scooter out there. Wish a nice weekend! LG aromakoma

    Hi wanted to know what do you think of which German cars could soon become Yougtim classics, but they are also affordable at most about 30,000 €. Would be nice if you still wrote to the cars a reason why you think it will become or is a classic. But please don’t have arguments because it is beautiful because it is a matter of opinion. Thank you in advance. My favourites are: – Opel Calibra, because it is a niche product, rarely in its original condition and has a (large) fan base. – BMW e30 ( especially the M version), because many race wins, technically ahead of their time (driving performance). Ask for more cars. Who can think of anything or what would like to say simply post.

    I will soon have A1 and will then be allowed to drive up to 80 km/h. If I pull the said “plug”, the scooter would have to go up to 80 km/h or???? If not, what about a sports exhaust from which I can attach or if I remove the small ring from the variomatics. What is necessary ??? If I would do this at home now, what about a new operating permit ????? Can I just say that they should write one to me or cost me an infinite amount of Money???

  • Buying advice Piaggio X8 125 – 400

    Hello all, I drove an X8 125 sample today and found that it fits me quite well, from the size and there is also a lot of space for helmet and jacket etc.! Now to my question: I am still unclear whether I should get a 125 / 150 / 200 / 250 or 400er??? Would like to buy a good used one, or a cheap new (with daily registration e.g.), up to maxxxx. 4,000 Euro! I live in the room DGF, which also my number plate reveals! I have already 8 pieces from mobile.de, which are located in my surroundings of 150km! Which models have good engines, since e.g. the 150er has less horsepower than a 125er? Greetings Herbert

  • Flasher flashing only when Angle eyes are on

    Hello guys, on my Aprilia sr 50 Street I built “Angle eyes” headlights on it worked great until solid wiring also. Only now I have the problem that the turn signals only light up when the Led’s of the Angle eyes are on. I connected the Led’s individually with a switch and connected with rests to the battery. As soon as I turn off the Led’s the turn signals no longer go and the light on the roller is insulated when I turn them on everything is back to normal where can it be that the turn signals only glow when the Led’s are on ?

  • Car sold privately! Now I’m accused of being fraudulent!!!

    Moin people! I would like to hear your opinion on the following issue. Maybe someone has already experienced a similar case: Just 2 months ago I sold my vehicle to private. The car was from 2004 and had 230,000KM. (Automatic gearbox) I used purchase contract from mobile. (without warranty, liability for material defects etc.) I told the buyer right at the first conversation that he did not have to expect a new car when visiting. I used the car every day for 4 years to get to work. (only 6km back and forth) I didn’t have an inspection, oil change, etc. in the 4 years. The car always ran perfectly. The buyer came, looked at the car, made a test drive and was enthusiastic. After he made a deposit, he picked up the vehicle 2 weeks later. Until then I used the vehicle daily. On the same day of the pickup he called me and told me that at full throttle (kick down) a transmission error message appears in the display. After turning off the engine everything is ok again until the next kickdown. The ”normal” driving is possible without any problems. Since I don’t have too much idea of it, I only said that such a mistake did not happen to me in 4 years and he should possibly make a transmission flush. Now I received mail from his lawyer. The buyer either calls back the full purchase price, or a compensation of 1,500€ since I received the According to his lawyer, an expert report is now being prepared which will prove exactly this. I honestly think it is difficult. The fact is that I never had such an error message because I never moved the vehicle with full throttle. How do you see it? Do I have something to worry about? According to his workshop, there is an accident in the car. Let’s go to the ”coupling” in the automatic transmission. Exchange gearbox 5,000€ !!! Do I see this wrong, or should one not expect certain wear and tear phenomena at 230,000KM ??? For your answers I am very grateful. Greetings!
