  • ASP-Seminar – Which points will be removed? The oldest ones?

    Hi together, just got mail: 8 points accumulated… 2008: 3 points (too fast) 2009: 1 point (too fast) 2009: 3 points (too fast) 2011: 1 point (too fast) I could now reduce by the ASP 4 points. In 2013 the 3 points from 2008 would fall anyway. Which points exactly will be redeemed? The oldest ones? Or asked differently – if I do the 300 Euro expensive (!) seminar, will next year in 2013 the 3 points from 2008 still be redeemed? If no, makes little sense, the decay v on 3 points by 300 Euro only one year to be preferred… I drive quite a lot, the “1 points” were simply too fast, I admit, in the 3s it was 1x extremely unfortunate 50s zone highway and 80 or so and I don’t remember the other 3s at all… Thank you!

  • Brake problems Front left Rear left

    Hello municipality, I have for some time the following problem: After changing the original brake discs (round not wavy) front and rear with coverings and quiet driving mode, both left brake discs have moved to approx. 2000km. These were measured and were actually warped, my guess was that after a highway ride I cleaned the left side in the guard box first and caused by the thermal difference of the brake discs delay. NOT by the Driving. As a result, I had all four brake discs replaced by the newer version (well) . So now after approx. 2000Km I hane the same problem and could notice that the left discs are much more loaded since I have not washed the car jetez after 1500km for the first time EVERYTHING more brake dust on the left wheels , moreover , I hane that the left discs are always hot and therefore probably the wear and tear of the discs stir t. So now the question I have to understand the technical why the left side probably has a higher brake pressure, already initially built up. Otherwise I can not explain the wear?? Are there two different brake circuits, left, right and are they driven differently??? Where can the error lie??? Who has ideas??   • Spare part carrying joint M12

    In the first years of Lambo, Hi Audi installed the axle handlebars with M12 support joints and then switched them to M14. With this conversion, there are no spare parts anymore and there is a damage completely per axle to M14. Alternatively, if a free rearrangement of Audi is rejected, there is a supplier of the support joints in M12, right in the picture. Tom

  • Battery support device

    Hello, since I am currently working a lot with the ignition on the R8 I would be interested in a tip regarding a good battery support pot. Charging function is not interesting, at the most it can charge lithium batteries. It would be important that it could supply as much power as possible in order to compensate for the losses caused by the ignition and actuator diagnostics so that the battery does not suck out (think from 20A). Is there something that is also attractive in terms of price? or does it all move in the professional workshop area (priced)?

    Hello, I have to bring my R8 V10 R Tronic to the Audi center before June. There an oil change should take place.   • Problems with Cupra / VAG Group

    Hello friends, I just wanted to ask you how satisfied you are with your Cupra. I am now after a few months of shared opinion. In itself I am very satisfied that car is driving well and that is also the main thing BUT I have rarely had such (though small) problems with a car before: Auto Cupra Leon VZ Hybrid 2 years old. First software error: The highway and traffic jam assistant is in combination with the front camera and another assistance Sy After 2 weeks after a software update I was lucky to leave. Almost every ride 5 times this annoying warning noise and 3 error messages in the display I did not find so great. Then the seat heating from the passenger does not work for a longer time… but is probably a hardware and no software error, so I will have to have it fixed soon with the friendly one. Is however included in the warranty nevertheless annoying. 3. Error: Loud banging noise in winter now handbrake is like frozen and I have to give some of the right gas to make progress. With narrow parking spaces in the city this is almost dangerous.. With the air pressure I probably had an alleged error message, from the gas station everything checked, but was more than ok. A little played around in the display and already it was gone, also unnecessary in my opinion. Can someone share these errors or have tips to fix it?

  • Cupra Formentor Software Problems

    Hello together, was now repeatedly at the dealer, no real remedy. Have at the Formentor time and again software problems. At the dealer already two “major updates” were recorded. – recurring error message assistant X is not available – passenger airbag not active – return camera remains dark – Apple Car Play, screen remains dark – sound suddenly only through the speaker behind the screen – key does not set the associated profile when opening a who ha t such problems still and what should be done?   • Beautiful car with many problems

    Hello guys, I was allowed to pick up a Cupra Leon CUPRA LEON ST VZ 4DRIVE (310 HP) from the dealer in 09/2022. Just in the first week failure of the control for the panoramic roof. Some parts would still have to be fixed, like the cover in the A-pillar on the driver’s side, in the rear area the carpet cladding etc. so small things. This took 2 days. The appointment received 14 days because the control was not immediately available. I picked up the car from the workshop. The vehicle is standing in the workshop every month for about 1 week, because the systems fail over and over again, display goes off and on, failure of the sound generator in Cupra mode, carplay does not connect properly or lends the connection. Now the latest failure of the seat heating and a grinding when turning from the front area. New date is this week. The vehicle will (I hope not) be at the factory for 1 week. The vehicle has received several updates. Unfortunately without success! Gem. Werkstatt are now changing the ECUs. My conclusion: beautiful car, but too many defects in the electronics.

  • New CUPRA Leon ST 5 days old. Wireless Charger does not work. Has been ordered according to order.

    We’ve had a CUPRA Leon ST for 5 days. With Connectivy Box and Wireless Charger. Unfortunately, charging does not work without cable. The dealer said to make an appointment on September 26th for a whole day… Does anyone have the same problem, or even better, an adequate solution…
