Hello Forum, my daughter has just bought an R 171 (EZ: 3/2006) from 1st hand in a NL. The reared summer tyres are according to DOT from the 27th KW/2004. That seems to me, can not be normal. The seller gave himself clueless and thought that would be possible as the car was already produced in 10/2005. Who knows about it? Can a MB – MA confirm that it is normal that “Just in Time” delivered tyres can be almost two years old. I think that was exchanged in the NL, or by the previous owner. My previous experiences with new cars have shown that the tires (up to a few weeks) are indentically with the production date of the vehicle.
