  • Megane 3 Coupe 1.4 with control chain

Hello, since I can call myself a 6-month-old Renault Megane 3 Coupe from Monday, I have already read myself here. What prompted me to buy are the actually good experiences with Renault and that the 1.4 liter engine with 96KW as the only gasoline engine has a control chain. In addition, 6-speed transmission and the Dynamique equipment. Let’s see how such my experiences will be. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to add an additional warranty extension after the z to conclude the manufacturer’s warranty 🙁 Greetings)

  • short introduction and first questions

Hello together, since last week we are proud owners of a Renault Megane Grandtour built in 2009. – So one of the last? EDIT: Megane II In chicken black drives the new station wagon. He has a 1.9l diesel engine with 131hp. Does anyone have any experience with it? So, you will find me now open here 😉 So now have a few questions: Where do you get original floor mats best and cheaply from? We also need a trunk pan. And very important, for inexplicable reasons, We don’t have a cruise control. Can you retrofit an original one? With Opel and VW, it’s easy.

  • The Renault Fluence will be the stepneck of the new Megane

According to Renault, there will no longer be a megane tail. Fluence is the name of the new compact sedan from Renault and is a direct descendant of the Samsung SM3 Built, however, the Fluence will be like its twin SM3 not at Samsung in Korea but in Turkey at Renault. Like the SM3, the Fluence will first be available with the 1.6l 16V petrol engine (110hp) with manual transmission or CVT automatic. In addition, with the 1.5dCi, depending on the market with 85, 90, 105 and 115hp and always with DPF A 2.0l with 140hp and CVT transmission will follow. The trunk of the Fluence has a capacity of 530 liters. Much more interesting is the fact that Fluence 2011 will get the drive of the electric car Nissan Leaf. Here the Fluence again in moving pictures: Click

  • Inrun camshaft due to incorrect mounting

Hi !!!! Dear readers and forum friends have had an urgent question ??? With a customer car happened the following , engine ran perfectly until suddenly in the middle of the stationary gas (warm running phase) strong and clear flapping of the engine was heard , conclusion after the dismantling the engine was , both camshafts of the 16V system entered the rear (outlet) even fixed eats . Timing belts not slipped, no more cons. to find , , , , , , can of me only plausieble explanation wi , Ventiel cover (only glued with sealing compound) actually needs a seal to allow the associated concentricity and lubrication process of the shafts. So if this is installed without sealing the shaft does not fit properly ?????? Thank you in advance I look forward to your Antw. or for help is asked better still a short Gspr. under 017670990654 D.Frech

  • The Laguna windshield in winter

Hi there, am I petty, or did Renault really not think much about the development of Laguna? I drive my Laguna now the 2nd winter and get angry about the ventilation of the windshield. I was on the road with my Laguna for about half an hour now, the front windshield probably opened quite quickly, the car became VERY warm, the windscreen wipers but still bake in solid ice and are not to be used. hr, they never really thaw even on a long journey, and you can therefore only use them very conditionally. You actually always pull ice on the windscreen wipers frozen over the windshield, the wiping success is thus often completely unsatisfactory, or a pure catastrophe. One ruins at the end its windscreen wipers and smallest scratches in the windshield will probably also hardly fail (similar to the ice scraping – which I never do for this reason). The reason is quite simple, there are no ventilation nozzles in the lower part of the windshield, but WHY? Have they ever tested the Laguna in the snow and ice, or has the Laguna been built together on the service route? I could really do it … 🙂 How do you get through the winter, as well with incomprehensible headshakes? 🙂 Are there maybe tips on how to shake the windshield wipers iisf we all have a nice winter and always good view 🙂

  • Help!!! Laguna from 2008 and engine corroded away!!!

Hello all, my car is from 5.08 (currently 118,000 km) and since 4.12 (at that time 79,000 km) in my possession. Before that 3 years had the same, which I had given after a total damage. All inspections (3 of the previous owners, 2 me) have been done at Renault. It was nothing and I was very satisfied… Until yesterday! Since the Renault dealer/workshop of my trust is 50 km away and I can not go there for very serious private reasons (stand gun by foot) ic When he removed the underrun protection, I got a shock. The engine block from below looks like it’s been standing outside at a junkyard for 3-4 years. The climate compressor, the gearbox is the purest disaster. I can’t imagine that everything was OK with the last inspection at Renault or even before. I don’t think that’s normal. Please look at the pictures. Your opinion I’m pretty desperate.

  • Sony CDX-GT434U + Which speakers?

Hello and good day! I’m still very fresh about Car-HiFi. To be precise, the 97 Ford Escort 1.6l 16V stepback is my first car. I have 2 speakers in the front doors and I have the Sony CDX GT434U in my sights and I wanted to ask what you could recommend as experts for speakers. There are so many things I don’t quite understand. Should I rather take 2 ways or 3 ways boxing? Is the difference even noticeable? I’m not a hardcore music listener but I just like Quality. Which sizes fit into the doors without much fuzzy egg? I didn’t really find anything in the net for that…but I guess it’s 10-16cm, or am I wrong? What would be preferred to install? 13cm? Oh jeh…I hope you can help me =) Greetings

  • Refurbishment of radio-remote conditions

Good evening together I got a radio remote control at Ebay^^ with which I can open and close my carThis is the good piece Works from the range really up to 100 meters, I’ve never experienced this yet^^ Today I wanted to install it. But have my problems with it. I measured my cables today by midday and found all the necessary cables at the bottom left in the footroom Availability calendar: thick red (current) black/white (blinker) black/green (blinker) white cable (ZV to) yellow cable (ZV to) available mass point (black) Everything fits to that. The remote control has a search function. Speaks the turn signals blink for 30 seconds. That works for me already wonderful. Only with the ZV I have a problem now. In the appendix the description I read that the ZV Plus is controlled. So I connect the yellow/black cable with a terminal to the yellow cable. I then connect the yellow cable to the black cable. Yellow/black is connected with yellow and yellow with black. So both cables connected with black. Then I connect grey with brown. I connect the grey cable to the red 12 V car battery cable. Grey is connected with brown and brown with red. So both cables connected with red. The problem is now, however, as soon as I plug in the control unit, the ZV goes in continuous course, up to up to up to up to… etc. I have to plug the device back into rest with it. Do you know what I might have done wrong? May I vllt. not put the 12V on continuous current? If not, where do I get 12V again? Greetings Black-Disk

  • Rusty wheel boxes at the back of my Ford Escort

Hello, I have a Ford Escort year 94. 90 HP. I wanted to ask I should have my wheel boxes welded back because of rust. Well, I wanted to ask now what it would cost about that. I know that there are all these wheel wheels. And I also know what they cost. I would only like to know what the welding works cost. And my longitudinal beams behind are heavily rusted, but I don’t think they’re enough. Should I do that?. For your answers many thanks in advance.
