Hi I probably have a hole in the tire at the back left of my boxster S, because it constantly loses air. Now I have heard from a dealer that high-speed tyres (V > 210 km/h) are no longer allowed for patching (23€) but you have to buy a new tire. Now I still have a lot of profile on the tire and would hate to put it away. I don’t actually drive over 200 km/h, but give more gas on country roads :-). There should be tyre dealers near me, d he fix the tires despite different regulations. See there a safety risk, if I let it fix and do not drive faster than 200km/h. For such tires repair is allegedly permissible… xenio

Fix winter tires where?
Moin, I had a nail in my WR and would like to have it patched now, yes I know you can be divided about it, but I just want to. To my shame I have to admit that I always have my tyres changed at ATU, but they told me that you should not have the tire patched, but this had only to do with it so that you buy a new one from them .. and don’t do it at all. my question is now, where can you have a tire patched? I ch come from hamburg, can you simply go to helmet, pit-stop, or something like that? the wools even sell the new ones. who can give me tips? thank you!

Recommendation in the middle price segment?
Hi, I’m looking for new tyres for my Golf Variant (195/65/15) and I’ve already been searching for the relevant topics. Many of the tyres that can be considered for me have hardly been discussed in the last 2-3 years. I swung between: Fulda EcoControl Falken ZIEX ZE-912 Maloya Futura Primato Nexen N2000 But I’m still open for other recommendations. They all move between 40 and 48 EUR. Since I won’t drive the car for more than 2 years, I don’t want too much and the four tires are, according to all experiences, quite good, right? Oh yes, discussions about budget tires or not and what is one, do not have to be conducted here. Please just experience…

Offer opinions for Intra/Exip rims for free – search ABE Softline 7062G
The ABEs and TÜV-certificates for aluminium rims from INTRA or EXIP (manufacturer Fleischmann + Wacker) can be obtained free of charge from me. I have the reports for the following Intra and Exip-models: A-Line, A-Line Revo, Cosmo, Pentaline, P-Line, P-Line plus, Signum, Spirit, Sport, and Verity. Unfortunately, I don’t have the reports for the previous models including S-Line and Softline. Otherwise, the reports cost really money, because Intra/Exip has painted the sails some time ago and now with it money. I have Intra Softline 7Jx16 ET35 LK100 (type 7062G) on my Calibra in the summer and I’ve covered up the original ABE myself. Could someone help me out with a copy (or PDF-file)? Would be really great. Gruss V.

Damage to the tire – still usable?
Hello, for the Ford Ka of my Freudin I recently bought used summer tires. Once back home it was noticeable that the rest of a screw was in the rubber in one of the tires, which the previous owner had probably captured/introduced. The screw stuck diagonally about 1cm in the tire or in the profile. After pulling out the screw the tire did not lose any air. Since I am not an expert the following question: Can one still drive with the tire? How thick is the rubber layer of a tire before the air comes? What could be done to examine the dance more closely – or is this not necessary at all? Thank you and greeting

Is there a tire search engine with all search criteria?
Hello, I am relatively little knowledgeable and have a few questions. At the moment I have on a Volvo Kombi the Michelin E3A. I think this summer it goes through easily still. I drive almost only motorway, about 30,000 KM / year. Drive usually between 90 – 130 km/h and try always looking ahead and with a lot of distance so that I have to brake less. Question 1: Is there a tire search engine, in which I can select various criteria and on the basis of tests / Reviews get a selection. ( e.g. price from – to, durability, wetness etc.) Question 2: I currently have steel rims and 195/65 R16 on it, both for summer and winter. Can on these rims also 205/60 R16 tires on it or do I need new rims on it?Question 3: I assume that the wear of the tire on the highway should be considerably lower than in the city. Is that true? How strongly does congestion affect wear? I have relatively frequent traffic jams o the viscous traffic, always around 5 KM on 100 KM. Thanks for any answers 🙂 Gruss E.

Your tyre experiences
Hello people ! I would be interested in your Pneu experiences very much, whether it’s a Wanli or Michelin …. Since the ADAC does not test every tire that is on the market and tires are different because not every car is the same. As a full example -Honda Jazz GD1 -Hankook V12 Evo # 205-45-16 -more sporty My opinion: The Hankook V12 is really fun on my Honda Jazz ! Aquaplaning he does not like so because of his dense profile , but in the rain you give auc h no gas Would I buy again and again !!

Questions: At the centre of the axes sideways?
Hello together, when it comes to mounting rims with low press-in depth or track widths, the free access is always a topic. But also the appearance plays a role. In my car the middle position of the rear axle was shifted by 2 mm to the left. This is within the manufacturing tolerance, but means that the left rear wheel is 2 mm further outside in the wheel box, whereas the right rear wheel is 2 mm further inside. The difference of a total of 4 mm could be I was still fine. I have already seen an Audi TT, which had a lateral offset of 5 mm on the rear axle. This looked grotesque. In such cases, it may happen that a wheel is free-access on one side, but grinds on the other side of the wheelhouse. I had the centre position of the rear axle corrected, for a 3-digit € amount. Unfortunately, a warranty case was not available here (production tolerance). the difference from the middle below 0.5 mm; good work. On front axles had not seen such a lateral offset so far. More consumption and less power through new mature ?
Hey Leuts, have a question like that! I had to mature on my Corsa 1.0 BJ 2000 145 r 13 on steel rims before. Now I have missed the Corsa some new shoes… 205 R 16 Aluflegen. Since I have consumed the Corsa on average on 100 KM 4 liters more than usual and the performance is also gone, otherwise he drove on the highway 165 top now comes only about 130 kmH with toil! Now my question can it lie on the tires? because the much bigger and wider sin d ? Thank you
