  • Keep the car or repel it?

    Hello, since my car has been paid off since July 2021, I have been wondering all the time if I should keep the car or not. It is a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 with 117hp, built in 2015 and approx. 161tkm on the tacho. I bought it in 2018 with 47tkm for just under 11.000€. So far, apart from the usual wear parts, no large repairs had occurred, until 3 weeks ago. Three weeks ago someone drove on my parked car, the report resulted in damage in the amount of on 1746,23€ and a replacement value of 500€. How would you judge the whole thing now? Sell the car, have the damage repaired and continue driving, or have the money paid out, have the money repaired cheaper somewhere else and then continue driving? I bought the scooter 3 days ago (CDI unit of max. 25km/h was inside) and dared to change the unit (to drive max. 45km/h again) myself.
