  • First engine block, now cylinder head

Hello dear community, I would need some advice on a given occasion and hope for support. About 10 months ago I had an engine damage in the form of a piston eater at my Kia Sportage 2.0 CVVT (2011) at mileage 100,000 km. Thanks to God I had a guarantee on the vehicle, so the engine block etc. was replaced at the expense of the dealer. The costs amounted to almost 6,000 euros. Since then the engine runs without problems. A few days ago during the F suddenly white smoke came out of the engine compartment, there was a squeaking noise. The heating also didn’t work properly, so it didn’t get warm in the interior. I immediately switched off the vehicle and didn’t move it any further. According to initial opinions of the workshop, it was the cooling system. Meanwhile, however, it is assumed that it is the cylinder head seal (ZKD) which is now also being repaired. Cost approx. 1,500 euros. Now my question: If the W can you assume that he is again fully functional and reliable? I understand that something can always happen with a car. But with the two relatively big things, I consider leaving the car. Can someone give me a few tips on this? Thank you in advance.

  • Purchase advice: Sportage Diesel

Hello Kia fans, for family reasons I have to leave my Audi A4 S-Line and need a family-friendly vehicle. 1. Is the Kia Sportage family-friendly or child-friendly, how big is the trunk? 2. Which diesel engine is good, the 1.7 or the 2.0? Is it true that Kia VW engines are installed? Are these then pump nozzle or common rail? 3. What is the terrain suitability? So not really terrain but long road, mountains etc.? 4. What are the weaknesses? 5. Are there z . Currently a new purchase discount or other? Rather new or used?

  • FOCUS by the worksman

Hello! Have a question… Will this afternoon pick up the ST for a whole WE for the test drive, let’s see how the car feels in reality. Since I have already decided to buy, of course I want to pay as little as necessary, I have several possibilities: 1.) New purchase, but I don’t see it, to destroy my invested capital in the shortest time (loss of value) 2.) Financing, have no desire for installments, I want to put the money on the table and the car belongs to me…! 3.) Annual car, which is not always the same as I would like to have it, keyword equipment… How does the topic of ordering a car via a work member? Can this one order a car configured by me according to my wishes under his name and then hand it over to me at the time X? Who can tell me about this?! Greeting from the office

  • How long unf how much laziness?

Hello, after last weekend with my 1.8 TDCI, (EZ: 25.06.04, 35tkm) the airbag warning people lit up and did not disappear by restarting, I was with the friendly today: A module of the control unit was allegedly defective and was exchanged. On demand the master told me that I could still expect 35% of the culant takeover of Ford with ‘the vehicle age and the mileage’ :-((( application is running. With the invoice amount I will also have to fight still well with 65% … Great! A month ago, the warranty expired and it’s off. Do you have any experience with the Kulanz handle at Ford? Can it be that the motivation of the workshop is not soo big, since I bought the car from another dealer? Thanks for all the answers!

  • GG 120PS Gasoline – Brake System & Mounting Wheel Bearings

Hello Schraubergemeinde! With the Mazda 6 (GG) of my Holden there seems to be 2 problems: The car starts to vibrate for 3 weeks from 120 km/h. Doesn’t sound like imbalance now, sounds rather mechanical. And also on the popmeter does not feel like a typical tire imbalance. It is rougher, more mechanical. I suspect that one of the wheel bearings is close to Exitus. Especially since you can now feel it at low speeds for a few days now, the suspicion is obvious. 127,000 km has the Mazda now down. For a week now, the rims at the front will get a bit warm even after a short ride. I think that the brake hangs. The discs have not yet started to run blue. So I type wheel bearings and / or brake…The following questions arise:How are the wheel bearings mounted at the GG? Are they pressed in or just plugged in? At 7zap you will find the explosion drawing of the brake, there is a blasting ring in front of the camp. r are, that would then be quite easy to exchange… To push out and press in I would have to remove the axle leg and drive to the buddy who has a press. I would have pulled tool to the simple camp on site and you could change the bearings with some luck directly on the vehicle. To do this, only the joint shafts would have to be removed, I think…Which brake system has been installed at the GG ??? I hit Akebono under brake linings with brake heels. At Daparto there are also coverings for systems of Sumitomo. And when you look at brake calipers, NBK still shows up… look forward to your input…

  • Recommended purchase: Pro and Contra Tucson

Hi, I had a Tucson on Malle as a rental car, which was really very nice from the space offer and technology and would fit fully to me. I would like to add one and would like to hear your opinion pro and contra to the Tucson. I would like to buy the following rough model. All-wheel drive Diesel automatic trailer clutch Navigation In detail I would like one of these already very much –> http://suchen.mobile.de/vehicles/details.html?id=234346195 Now the questions to What do you have to pay attention to at Tucsons? Are there models that are rather bad (e.g. many failures) There are points that tempt you to a Tucson again at any time or rather many points that deter you, do not buy any more, because I buy My car more for 5-8 years than to sell it again every year. Would be very happy about your feedback, because every fat bowl you have already found, I don’t have to find again Many greetings Willi

  • Turbocharger damage?

Hello guys, I probably got a turbocharger damage on Sunday. He was julting/peeling short and then it was gone and there was no performance. I hope that this afternoon I will find out more, because my screwdriver has time for it. Now my question first. How do I get to the parts numbers of the turbocharger or all the seals. My Mazda dealer doesn’t get any parts numbers. So that I know so about where I get a new turbocharger and how hard my finances are burdened. • Mazda 6 GH (Benzin) Purchase advice – 1.8 or necessarily 2.0?

Good morning together! I’m currently looking for a used Mazda 6 GH (stage or hatchback) so around 6000-700€. There is usually a choice between 1.8 with 120 hp and (rarely) 2.0 with 147/155 hp. Since I don’t drive very much, it has to be a gasoline truck. I mostly drive flatland, without trailer/carriage etc., mostly with a total of 3 occupants including me and at least 1/2 tank full. Occasionally also in the somewhat mountainous country (Eifel or similar). I don’t really need a racing car that accelerates directly from 40 to 140 in a few seconds or so on the motorway driveway. I’m currently driving the Renault Laguna 2 from 2001, also 1.8 with 120 hp and it seems to me to be sluggish (especially between 60 and 130 km/h), especially when the road goes “up” – there’s even full throttle and nothing is felt. However, I suspect that the Laguna also has some own performance problem (suspected on Can it be that the 1.8 engine of the GH is a bit more dynamic? The 2.0s usually cost appreciably more – is the price difference justified in view of the performance of the 2.0 compared to the 1.8? And is the km stand about 100-120 tkm questionable in view of upcoming repairs or is it usually still possible to create at least 50tkm without the car having to go to the workshop? I mean any unplanned work (e.g. any wheel bearing broken or similar) and do not replace maintenance work like brake pads etc. Thanks in advance and already a nice weekend!

  • Radio problem M 6 GH

Hello, since a few days I have “loudness fluctuations” in the playback of radio stations. As soon as the car is half warm, the speakers get off irregularly left or right or center ;-(( When playing via Bluetooth – no problem. Does anyone know any reason? Greeting Heiko ps – the airbag lamp lights: 1x pause 2x pause and the whole thing then in continuous loop ;-(((

  • expensive inspections ASX

Hello, my ASX with the 150 hp diesel last week for the 45,000 km inspection, this week came the bill. I am very scared, because the 45,000km inspection is for me a “small” inspection, therefore I had not expected a gross final amount of 535.99 €. I then compared with the 15,000km inspection and with the 30,000km inspection. The 15,000er cost 331.77 €, working hours 1.7. The 30,000er cost 529.55 €, working hours 3, 4. The 45.000er costs now 535.99€, working hours 3.5. On my surprised demand at my workshop I got the information that in the 45.000km inspection the inspection plan provides “testing and setting of the valve play”, which is true, inspection plan is included. This would, together with the rest of the inspection, be estimated by Mitsubishi with the calculated 3.5 working hours, the invoice is correctly prepared. I have to say that I do not know about any of my cars, which I am not aware of, but I am aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a “small” inspection. I am not aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a “small” inspection, but I am not aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a “small” inspection. I have to say that I am not aware of any of my cars, which I am not aware of. before the ASX, this reduces the economy of this car to a minimum. I am otherwise very excited about the ASX, but considering the economy, the change to another brand is really worth a serious consideration. Too bad.
