Hello and good evening, I now drive a Kia and before that I drive a V… 2,0 / Diesel 136 HP. Now I belong to an older year with a lot of experience in driving a car. The Kia can be seen and let go. I like to skip a few hp and displacement. Saves money. Environmental awareness also plays a role. Mostly I drive alone to work or for two with a col. So what do you need a car, if it is used up 1 – 2 times a year, a lot of money costs And yet it’s not more reliable? Let’s take a look at the diesel prices. These slowly but surely slip towards super. (supply and demand) The taxes and maintenance consume the savings at the pump again. How do you see that? Are there cool computers among you? Electric cars are not a topic because of the prices. In anticipation of your answers With kind regards M.

Hyundai Santa Fe cruise control defective
Moin, we have been calling for a week a Hyundai Santa Fe from 2005 our own (V6 2.7 l, automatic, autogasanl.). During the test drive we noticed that the cruise control does not work. On the steering wheel there are 4 keys: “on/off”, “cancel”, “set” and “reset”. The cruise control cannot be activated by the “on/off” button; the “cuise” display in the amaturary board does not light up and there is also no speed “set”. “, so activate the cruise control while pedaling the brake at the same time, which does not work. The fuse is OK and all the buttons work (measured). Can you help me further what I should check next, or where I can find the control of the cruise control? Thanks for your help David

Transmission and coupling problems
Hello! I would like to know if some of you have already had experiences with Hyundai’s prowess and how you would assess the prospects in my case. Or has someone already had similar experiences? I could read a few lines about this….but still my story about it: On 16.02.2012 I made a used Hyundai ix35 (05.10.2010) with 120 KW as gasoline and thus acquired my first Hyundai. Coverable in price, with So I was convinced to buy a good car and I really enjoyed driving. With 5 years warranty (i.e. on purchase still 3), what should go wrong, especially since I also assumed that Hyundai also offers quality. However, I was taught a better one today, after the workshop manager handed me the Hiops message, that there is probably a damage to the gearbox and the clutch and next week with the cost advance Despite the fact that all inspection intervals have been observed and the inspections have been carried out according to the manufacturer’s specifications, a gearbox after not even 6 years and a mileage of just 114,000 km???? does not belong to my driving style, because with family and a now 7-year-old son you probably don’t get excited about the PS. And then, of course, just after the end of the 5 years! Sow ohl the workshop as well as I have now made contact with Hyundai and I am very excited to see how they will react. I would be happy to receive experiences, tips and answers.

Santa Fe high pressure pump
Hello together, my Santa Fe 2,2 CDI with 200000 km has stopped on the highway. After the diagnosis of a workshop the high pressure pump is defective, one has found in the pump chips. First thought : such a crap….. The demand for what now for possibilities came the statement: Throwing away If the pump is changed it may be that chips have placed themselves in the injection nozzles and these then also have to be replaced, moreover there is the possibility that the running bushings even when the car is running again, there is the possibility that after a few weeks it will again blablabla….and and and possibly and so on. Repair costs above ground not feasible. My plan: buy used pump (have already one) , install, flush and filter fuel systems, test. how high is the probability that this leads to the desired success, are the objections of the mechanics really so high in probability? Thanks if ever one answers my questions, doesn’t really know what to do… Desperado

Selling – but to whom?
Moin Leutz! Now it’s time… my old Escort doesn’t make the tuv anymore. As well, with almost a complete left and a half right threshold with holes. Likewise, a rusty something in 3/4 of the longitudinal beam at the left back. Besides, the tank cover is under rust (completely loose) and the transverse handlebar socket on the left, as well as the brakes at the front would not have been worth re-repeering. I drive it until it is officially no longer allowed. But then…?! I have several dealers (Po I’m not sure if they give me anything for the car (92 BJ, blue, 60 HP, women’s car, 124,500 km, cared for) – everyone chased me from the yard. Question: Where can I get something for such a “waste car” in times of the automobile crisis and the scrapping premium? The premium doesn’t meet me, by the way, because I can’t afford a new car. HELP! Thx Norman

Moisture/fungus in the trunk
I had my Ford Escort ’95; 3 doors; sliding roof; rear spoiler, almost half a year outside. Because I lacked the money for repair measures and the TüV, I then registered the car and left it on the yard. In the meantime I rented a garage and looked into the car after a long time and then had to find out that my suitcase was actually very wet. Already so wet that I can send the car to the hairdresser (kotz). I still noticed that I was the rubber of the rear window already has wild growth. But since always moisture comes in I exclude this as a watch thing. Can someone help me? The car was dry before when I was driving with it.

I get problems-entered 175 and now 185
Hi! Ford Escort Kombi 75 HP Year of manufacture 97 I have the question because I bought the car 3 months ago. 8 compartment tyres. And today I changed and saw that the summer tires 185 have instead of 175 (winter tires) as in the letter. Since I still have 3 months probation time I do not want to take any risk. I get problems there. Or I have to change and register again.
