Hello all, I switched from my old Mondeo tournament last autumn to a Mazda 6 station wagon from 2015. He drives very pleasantly, but there is one thing that makes me stumble: If I want to go to work at the currently reasonably relaxed cold temperatures (morning +- 3 degrees around the freezing point), then I hardly get the disc free. Maybe I’m a little spoiled by my old man, but then I have the climate automatic in cold condition. I commute daily from Krefeld to Dinslaken, which is almost 45km or 35 minutes. When I arrive, the corner areas of the windscreen are still not free. Is this normal with the model? Or is there something wrong? That’s really annoying, because you always have to give away plenty of time in the morning until you start driving safely at all. ann. I get in, turn the temperature to 27° (it’s also in the logbook), then I activate the “front disc free” button. AC is on, have also changed between fresh air and circulating air test times, but that doesn’t make any difference. It gets loud and you hear that the fan is working, but it doesn’t really do much. I usually also have the rear disc heating and possibly the popo heating on, however, so the engine should be warm at most faster we rden. I still have new car warranty, so I would be happy if you let me know what that looks like for you. I mean exactly the 2015 model, maybe that’s fixed with the newer ones. Thank you!

Consumption Small car, Picanto vs. Getz
Hyundai Getz 1.3 or Kia Picanto or ? Hello everyone, I am about to pick up a new car. After driving 50,000 km a year, the consumption is extremely important. After searching through the forum, I have always found totally contrary statements about this theme. From 5.1 to 10 liters everything was there. With statements like “…after x kilometers I have consumed half a tank ..” are useless. First, it is crucial that the car is well driven, w if “good” means NOT to heat with a new car with full throttle over the highway. Secondly, it is important WO was driven. City / highway / highway and how was driven. With air conditioning? Summer? Winter?. To calculate the consumption you proceed as follows: 1. Full fuelling, odometer to zero. 2. Consciously choose the driving method: economical, normal, sporty. 3. At the next tank fill up and calculate: tanked liters x 100 / driven kilometers = consumption. For me would be int This will be my most common driving condition. You can read it already: I live in the speed-limited Switzerland. I am grateful for hints! Many thanks to all who can give me reliable information. Greetings Michael

Air in the Diesel System
Please give me an explanation where this can come from and sorry for the somewhat longer text.. The transe arranges itself a wolf and does not start. I put a transparent hose from the diesel filter to the pump and found that a lot of air is pumped with it when the air is ventilated.. new diesel filter installed again still tries a lot of air in the hose forever. Two transparent hoses connected to the pump and nailed into a canister and see that Transe runs. Now I wanted it I’m going to tap the diesel filter housing but what’s going to break it? The diaphragm of the vent pump looks like tip top. Maybe someone has a tip for me what I can still look at before I order such a big case. Thanks for your help.

Refuelling problems
My colleague just has the problem that the pump gun jumps off after each litre of fuel? He drives the Transit Custom, 8/2016, 170 HP for his 2 years. He drove with the FFH to the gas station and the master has fueled himself and has also skipped off for a long time. On Friday the filling nozzle was changed, on Saturday my colleague wanted to fill up but the gun still jumps off. Has this problem also had who?

2024 Tourneo Custom vs Transit Custom [PKW]
Hello together, as the headline says, I am looking for the main differences between Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom (2024er). When I torture the configurator (170hp, four-wheel, 320-L1) and almost everything that goes on, the difference doesn’t quite come to me yet…. I have the Titanium-X, the sport ( www.ford.de/s/jngm ) then the trail ( www.ford.de/s/jnVL ) Ok, there is probably no B&O and panoramic roof, but otherwise? Clear other colors (but black is black) ), different seating design, but otherwise? Do I just overlook something serious? Or where do the 1000€ difference come from (and on transit there are also more %) Greetings

High fuel consumption
a nice good evening in the round, I know this topic “What consumes your custom” has already been addressed countless times. The values given here vary also between 7 and 10 L to 100/km. I drive a Torneo Custom Built 2018 / 170 Ps Automatic and my consumption is around 10 L/100km. Also on long distance / highway the consumption is the 10 liters… The friendly thinks it is a cabinet wall / heavy etc… no error deposited, normal. Now we have since few Where In the company, Ford Transit, with 170 Ps, however, switch. The consumption of the cars lies around the 9 liters/100km are fully charged and are certainly not driven sparingly. What I notice now is my car, in position N, without any electric consumer, warmly driven in the current consumption indicator indicates 0.9-1.1l/h. The value never goes lower. Our company cars show values between 0.5-0.6l/an. Is mine constantly in the cleaning phase?

Ford Ruckles at lower load range during acceleration
Hello we have been having problems with our Ford Transit 2012 2.2 Diesel 125hp FWD for months now. The engine is an AT engine from Ford with now almost 15,000KM. It’s only the engine new, not all attachments. For about 3 months we have been in the lower load range to give in to the gas. If then you don’t give any more gas it shrugs like this. You also hear a sucking noise from the engine compartment when it jerks… It’s like if you would tap on the accelerator quickly and only briefly. Ollgas it is completely gone. The AGR is new, but I still know if they have cleaned everything, but the engine is new. I drive almost only Premium Diesel. Another problem is that the car starts cold 1A and very clean, as soon as it is warm it is bumpy up to the point that it does not start at all and needs a new attempt. Twice the engine just went out in idle. We were already in some workshops but none has solved the problem, a master said it clearly But I don’t know what to do without a fault in the system. LMM is also new. Coupling and ZMS too, is not important but is new Diesel filter is also new. I am really a bit perplexed. We have no exhaust smoke and the injectors are perfect according to a Ford workshop. Does anyone have an idea or the same problem? I would be very grateful because I don’t want to run into the next workshop where the next part is exchanged.

8×16 ET35 on W126???
Hi, have on my 126er (Limo) currently rial rims in the dimension 8×16 ET11. But since they are no longer the most beautiful, I would like to buy others – my desired rims are only available in 8×16 ET35 (or just in 17, 18, 19 and 20 inches with the same ET – the diameter does not matter). Do these rims fit or will they grind in due to the ET? There are not many rims that have a low ET – must also say that the 8×16 ET11 has a bit too far “r Thank you very much, Marcel.

Dubiosis PN’s…
Friends of driving behind the star, a few weeks ago I had a PN of a “user” who wanted to have information about companies who know about the ABC chassis or where I had my work done. Sure, I answered that the user profile was opened years ago, but hardly any activities… No response to my answer, even on requests. Originally I had asked a special company (completely removed) for the work, but I did not respond. Is it possible that behind some supposed “users” there are reading dealers/workshops, reading along here (sometimes?) and occasionally snooping around? In principle, no problem, who will call this horse and rider, if there is, for example, trouble, but quite well to know…

Escort drains directly when starting.
Hello guys! I have a question: Since Saturday the escort from my girlfriend is drinking directly at the start, when I try to start it, he comes short, jerks and then goes out again, if I let him turn further and pull the fuse for the fuel pump, he also comes again for 1-2 seconds and then nothing again, so I assume that it simply injects too much gasoline. earlier on I switched to the advice of a friendly amac employee the temperature sensor, h Did someone from you have an idea about what this might be and especially how I can check and exclude components that might be in question. Tomorrow I wanted to check the Lambda probe next time, does someone have a guide? Still a few data about the vehicle Ford Escort 1.4 bj. 92, 52 KW Tool technology I am very well equipped, multimeters, a box Pils, a radio and a painful experience in screwing I also have. I thank you already in advance. MfG Helios
