And comes to the one from the hooves… Drive now nen golf 1.9 TDI with 116hp which runs well, have previously driven nen bmw. e46 with 118hp can you compare any variant? My second question. Was there any changes made to the convertible? I thought I would buy a top well-kept 93.. could I tell in the circle of friends 😉 would it be a 99 or 2000? 🙂 I thank you for your help… Hope I can enjoy a nice summer with the Audi Cabrio..!

  • High fuel consumption Santa Fe CM 2.2 CRDI

Hello, I drive a 2.2 CRDI (2WD) BJ07. Meanwhile 185000km. For more than a year it needs about 10l/100km. Before about 8l/100km. In addition (not exactly at the same time, a little later) a temporarily illuminating or flashing MIL. The visit of two Hyundai workshops led to the exchange of the AGR valve and the differential pressure sensor. The high consumption and the luminous MIL could not be impressed. The statement of the master/mounteur of the last plant. “When the MIL lights up again, the DPF has to be replaced.” (according to the previous owner, the DPF has already been cleaned once). Now I have changed the DPF myself, for a product from the accessory. The MIL no longer lights up; the consumption is still as high as before. In my opinion, the error did not occur from the “clogged” DPF, but from a tube clogged by Dieselruss to the differential pressure sensor. Now I read with the ScanMaster software at the OBDII-Ans Cluss the following values: under “not permanently monitored components”: AGR does not support completed below This vehicle is not ready for exhaust gas testing. Under “real-time data” Number of hot-run cycles since last fault erasure 28 Do I quite assume that with a certain number of hot-run cycles the message “This vehicle is not ready for exhaust gas testing” disappears? What can cause the high fuel consumption still? Gruss Frankie

  • Compounding ScorpioII

Hello, I’m building up a 98 Scorpio. I would like to install an additional control unit for the ZV, because it bothers me that the car does not blink when closing or opening. Apart from the felt 30 seconds that pass until it flashes after the double closing. Now I tried the composure with my other Scorpe. But only if I plug in the key and hold it on “close”. Can I use the original remote control so initialize that he also makes a composure about this? If yes …how? Greetings to Reiner

  • The Kia is here, but… wrong color

Hello Kia municipality, in March the order of a Kia Picanto was ordered in a blue metallic color. At the beginning of June the car should be there. In mid-June then came from the car dealer the call that the car was now delivered. Why ever pulled that and in the past week you got the data to transfer the purchase price and the dealer wanted of course the EvB number. Said, done. Today the seller called and said that he had a good and a bad Nachric The car is registered and then he called the bad…. The car is white instead of blue. But we would be all people, as he said. Now it should be chosen whether the white car is taken for a new price, but without the extra charge of the metallic color or it has to be waited another 6 weeks, because the car has to be ordered. What is not understandable is that the car was at the dealer’s two or three weeks, and he had not noticed that the car has a different color. What can you do? Best regards

  • Purchase advice first Mercedes is to become a SLK.

Hello together, first of all to me. So far I come from the Ford group. Have some models through. Fiesta, Puma and currently a focus step tail. But look now already long after a DB. have recently discovered the following SLK while browsing in the autoscout. Autoscout Link After some reading here in the forum are known the usual points. camshaft adjusters like oil, roof tightness, rust etc. Have already contacted the dealer. At first glance everything looks wonderful. The car already has 4 previous owners. I guess I’ll have a look at it this week and try it out. However, since I haven’t followed the SLK market in particular, I hope to get some information or opinions here. Thank you very much.

  • Decrease clothing under the motor

Hi people I want to make my oil change tomorrow and forgot my smart books. how do I get the motor protection plastic part down? and what tools do I need? because I am not at home and I have to take everything with me.

  • Rust on the bonnet…

… how do you manage that? since I’m looking for a new old audi I looked at nn b4, whose hood has several small and a few quite large rust pimples on the hood. how can that come? should actually not happen thanks to full galvanization, right? I’ve already seen some with stone blows, but this has not been so rusted yet.
