Hello everyone.. Would you like to hear your opinion about this car. http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=bjtrcxcnq3pj I also looked at the car on Saturday and tried it, the car is really very good and drives well. Unfortunately I don’t know so much about used car purchase. The dealer seemed quite serious to me. But the car is sold in the customer order. Used car guarantee I could get at that price. Can repairs come in the next time? How long do you drive such a car in NORMALFALL? If something was wrong with the car, would it show me in the board computer or? Tires and brakes were quite new. So if you ask me just write… thank you in advance….

E10 Refuelling
Hello, after having been reading the forum for a few weeks, I have now signed up. I would be interested to know if you are refueling your SLK with Super E10. So far I had not really thought about it and had already filled in E10 once. But after the report from BMW came today that if it is possible a higher engine wear is possible, I come already so slowly in the pondering.

Starter turns weak/heavy – battery has 11,8 V
Hello together. For a few days now I have the feeling that my battery is gone. Since the starter turns very lightly. Motor starts in itself nevertheless well. Have measured the battery today times – had 11,8V without engine. That’s okay, isn’t it!? Is it now due to the battery or something else? MfG

Cylinder head sealing change Audi 90 (front drive) 20V (7A) Built 1991
Hello I bought myself an Audi 90 20V (MKB: 7A) yesterday. First registration 04.1991. 5-speed, front drive. The engine has already over 260 000 km down. Now it only starts with a lot of gas and does not start properly (the engine fibrates easily). But in the stationary gas it actually runs at constant speed, it just fibrates a bit. An oil change has probably not been done for a long time, since it is totally black and the painting of the oil filter is also completely “road rusted”. The oil level with the oil measuring rod was not detectable anymore!!! So I first made an oil change (but without a filter). So get to work and see what it is that the engine has such a mute. At first I thought that maybe the engine has a light screw, but the oil pressure was there… . I looked at the engine, and I noticed that it sucks quite nicely behind the 5th cylinder. Besides, the engine could run a light air outlet solidest during If you have held your hand behind the 5th cylinder (over the flywheel) about the height of the cylinder head gasket, where it is powerfully sucking. Could that be the head gasket? So I guess it’s pretty strong (especially since the original owner suspected it too). The cooling water is OK, but the oil smells like gasoline. Oh yes, and when the engine is running it always makes the pfff pfff pfff. And if you give a sudden gas, then it’s so weird.. So I hope it’s the K opf gasket and not an eating flask or a mechanical defect (especially at mileage). So what do you think?? mfg steftn

W220: Preheating operation, car dripping then, normal?
Hi, I’m a bit perplexed at the moment. I only had mine for a few days. had parked yesterday in a parking garage and pre-planned the heater. When I came to the car 20 minutes after the switch-on time, I saw there a water pool about 1 meter large under the car. It dripped at the front apron to the right. After I had switched off the heater, the drop subsided and stopped completely. This morning it was dry under the car, after the heater ran a few minutes, the drip went I can rule out cooling water, this is green and the container is full. Have a temopotuch kept under it, the water is colourless. If only the container of the windscreen washing system, which is also sitting over it, or one of the hoses to the headlights/windshield, have not noticed any waste of the filling quantity, but would be possible. Or is the condensation water? Would also explain why the water was cold, whereas cooling water and windscreen washing water j I am familiar with the subject of condensation water only from the air conditioning system. I have often been mentioned that the car drips. But if I were new, that this is also the case with a preheating system, I have already noticed the fourth vehicle with preheating system, I have never noticed before. Of course, if I wanted to, then I could spare myself the leak search… Who knows advice? lg Rüdiger:-)

best price/power ratio w116 – w140
Hello, I have to sell my good w123 in about 2-3 years ago, in order to then switch to a class w116, w126 or w140, tax + insurance goes from old direction to new top, if I am not mistaken. tax are w140 and w126 similar?! what does it look like with the w140? especially insurance technology? since I will only look around in 2-3 years after such vehicles, would also a market forecast be interesting.. maybe someone knows each other? w126 rise already again since a few years, but because of the high number of pieces probably not so much…? w140 are still sinking at the moment, but probably not for long?! what does it look like technically with the w140, partial price, in relation to w116/26? since there are no more so many of the w116, this should not be moved even with rain.. I am currently going in the direction of w126, whereby the w140 would appeal more, however, I don’t know the costs with this vehicle so well. my opa was from 69 – 02 in the area s-class at mb, I could consider this a discount for myself, as I would not have to go to the workshop for every “problem”…? I would have about 5-600€ available, which is not much…

Coke slices ?
Hello to all W220 drivers (all others are of course also greeted) Who has already received a certificate offer over all four side panes for the replacement of the Cola-Bläßchen-Scheiben? (vehicle 8 years – 100,000km) With the MT search function I find hardly anything here The offer is >Own share just over 1000 Euronen, i.e. approx.50%. (Mat.+Arb. complete) (Please note: about very touching MB-Werkstatt requested) 1. Question: With which share or at all could you agree s a? (or at all, which address/complaint address (PN)) 2. Question: Are there also known damage to front and rear windows? Without polemics, that this can actually not be ! , I would like to thank you already about your numerous answers your affected

Activity – Petrol pump ?
Hello, a few questions for the technicians among us: I have heard that the petrol pump is not constantly in operation – question: is that correct ? What happens if the petrol pump is shut down and stays off while driving ? (e.g. if the ground line is interrupted to the ground connection point under the rear seat (in the W220) ). I am interested in this because such a relatively simple anti-theft protection would be possible – but would like to assume that then any steering gear would be used. Save the error messages… Could you also prevent the car from starting? Greetings
