  • Brake Drum – Question

Hello, need your help again. After our good old Essie (BJ 96, 1.3L Endura E, 60 HP, 3-door saloon) with engine damage has given up the spirit, we bought one again. The “new” is also BJ 96, but a 1.6L Zetec, 5-door combo. Yesterday we are now also stuck with this and had to be towed away. The drum brake at the rear left is stuck. Did really smoke out of the drum. I guess the wheel bearing is over. The old Essie is still at the bottom of the TG, I haven’t yet come to clean up the one at Ebay. He has almost new wheel bearings in it, which we had just done. Now my idea was to replace the complete brake drum, so the one from the old to the new one. Does that fit? Or is that another size? For answers I would be very grateful. cu tiggy

  • how stable is the drive shaft on the Nissan Primera Bj.98 P11

Hello guys, a friend of mine has broken the left drive shaft for the second time in 15 months after 20 tkm, the workshop claims the old man (68 years) had driven so brutally… but I know he’s driving like a grandpa…. Have you also had to make such experience with the left drive shaft in this vehicle.

  • Clagers with sound file…

I took the clacking once. I started the wagons and then the clacking already came. But only lasts until the engine is a bit warm. But still wants to know what that is. Is a 3GPP file and with Quicktime to open.

  • ISG Start Stop Automatic

Hello together. I’ve had the problem a few times now that with my ProCeed MY 24 the ISG at the traffic light has broken off on its own and the engine has started. I have now been browsing something in the operating instructions, all the conditions for a trouble-free work were given……had someone ever been ? Have mine since October 23, maybe someone can say something about it…. Thank you

  • How to buy a car as a woman????

Hello your car experts, I have to buy a car at short notice – and that alone! Neither my father nor my brothers can support me there, so that I have to bring the thing over with either a friend or my mother. Therefore, I now need a crash course in terms of car purchase. Conditions: I have looked out the Renault Twingo. Primarily because I like it and many in the area are offered to buy. It must be an automatic and at the most 4 What do I have to pay attention to now? – how crazy are the tires – speedometer stand – should be best under 100,000 – year of construction – should be built as far as possible after 2000 – Macken – Rost I have already considered whether I should simply drive to a workshop during the test drive and check the car there. May I at all? Probably not be so cheap. I am really desperate and very grateful for tips. Maybe there is a list that you can buy a car. It should be taken into account.

  • New Twingo *** brochures / discounts

Hello, again and again I read that (e.g. in Bavaria) there are already brochures about the new Twingo; when are these in the Ruhrpott at the dealer around the corner available? ———————— The new Twingo models can already be ordered on the net with a discount of CA. 17-18 %; will this discount also be offered on site? Or do you have to listen to any sayings “… is a new model, there are not so high discounts…” What is the business deal with Renault if a new one it model to be brought to the man ? Thanks and greeting ***no porsche***

  • Cylinder head gasket? 1200€? Twingo

Greetings, in advance I don’t know a car “knower” so I turn to you here… because I think that the price of the workshop is clearly too high, I hope some car friends can help me here. Of course I have already used the search function but without great success…. and we have the following problem, our Twingo Bj 2002 75PS 1.2 16V 117Tkm (but I’m not sure if the details in my profile about the car are correct, that was then to me Unfortunately he had to visit the workshop because he had “more or less” problems with the start in the last time. At first he did not jump at all, after several times pressing the ignition he jumped again however very hard and in the beautiful old tractor style (my first guess was the battery because this is still the first). When he was in the workshop, the employees could not fix any errors… neither battery nor anything else… Nice and good … nac h a week the same game started again from the front… First reason… No reaction, 2-4 Slowly coming engine noise, 4-6 engine jumps on under difficult circumstances and only with easier operation of the accelerator pedal.. Now it is all at once the cylinder head gasket that is defective… which should cost only “loose” 1200€? Can someone explain to me what is so expensive about a ZKD? Quote: Where is the coolant gone? Everything dense, or consumes the coolant….hope for you that there is no need for n Cylinder head damage follows! Would I keep an eye on the coolant level….best to completely renew….I would like to know if one could be related to the other… Thank you for any advice/tip/info!

  • Twingo 2, what are your experiences?

Hello together, we have a Twingo 2002, are satisfied. Now our friend here offers the new one, 4990,- extra charge if we give the old one (if he will bring 2500,-). Well, we will see. Keyword: Renault environmental premium… What can you say about – the 1.2er eco with 75hp, how does it work? Much better than the 58hp? – is the new more comfortable than the old one? – weak points – can we continue to use the current 155/65/14 winter tires? We will once a day Pro and can test extensively and then probably answer almost all the questions yourself. Nevertheless: what do you like / not good. Thanks for every info

  • Second car, hard decision…….what kind of car?

I am looking for a second car, I have already made many thoughts. The car is mainly used in urban traffic, but should come on the highway and highway reasonable, I overtake my safe or thread on the highway. 1. Thought , smart rejected because , sensitive technology, from purchase price / performance ratio too expensive and needs for such a small gasoline too much. 2. Thought , Corsa -proportioned , because 60 hp tricylinders to slip, 75 Ps hardly to beko 3rd thought Twingo – we once had, my ex after separation still runs today. Insurance cheap son doesn’t want to be so right. My idea: Built 2003- 04, 75 HP 3- 4000 € max 80 T KM ran. Many have a folding roof, how are there the experiences that are often leaking? How do the 75 HP engines run? Acceleration,End speed, realistic consumption, durability in general. I hope that now many answers come together. I would like to thank the Commissioner for his excellent report, and I would like to thank him very much for the work he has done on this subject.

  • S class with electric turbo

When I saw the first time kn Aliexpres electric turbo, I knew that it was scrapped, but I also understood that the future is. In China ware is the problem that you can copy well but not have your own development. Audi had it before, Mercedes now too. In lower rotation, an electric turbo with 48v helps the drive until the turbo itself has enough power. Soon, this should also exist for small engines. How do you see it, it was so swirly that something like that too What do you need to do to charge a branch hose, an electric motor that rotates quickly enough (from 70000 turns), a larger battery with 48 volts and accordingly a light engine with the power of this, And control unit (with frequency converter to speed up the electric turbo depending on the need).. Quite erlich the problem with turbo hole exists already so long, was it really so difficult to develop this? Dysen shows with its electric motors that even 200000 revolutionizes g easy to lie in, with battery power. What do you think? As soon as it is available for s212 I montier that.
