Hello Motor-Talker, last week I drove a three-year Audi A3 test, which has been standing at the Audi dealer’s for 3 months. Car made a good impression, only the noises during braking were terrible. A short look through the rims revealed then also the normal evil, namely completely rusty brake discs. He referred to the seller, the rear brake he makes completely new. He believes that the front brake would be free again (after 45 minutes test drive i Since the TÜV is being re-made anyway, we agreed that it will only make the front brake new if the TÜV criticizes it. Today, the news came that the TÜV (which probably comes into the house several times a week) found no defects on the front brake. Of course, I can’t accommodate anyone anything, but manus manum lavat already knew the Romans. How do I behave when the brake is still in trouble when I collect it? trouble in the form of a miserable frame or grinding noise during braking? That would have to be covered by the warranty, after all, nothing of a corroded brake is in the purchase contract. So can I claim a possible defect at collection immediately and poach on warranty? Probably the dealer will come to me with the TÜV report or the workshop master will explain his rust theory to me, but that also does not change anything about the corrosion. Is it wiser than normal? he workshop customer to drive to another Audi dealer and have the brake inspected, and then forward the repair offer to the first dealer? Thank you & Best regards woidcruiser

Basic solid, economical small car, best convertible or sunroof up to 5000 Euro wanted
Hi, for the daily drive to work, annual output 20,000 km, I am looking for a small car at the above mentioned maximum price. Can also be larger than a small car, very cool would be at least. Sliding roof or better convertible. Four seats would not be wrong, luggage size doesn’t matter. The car should be reasonably economical in consumption and maintenance costs (is more important to me than PS), best cross-country skiers with pronounced workshop allergy At least the next five years should not be bigger dr I don’t care about the brand, but I have reservations about Dacia – I’m probably biting myself with the workshop allergy anyway.

Long-range diesel from VW 2.0 tdi?
Hello forum, it’s time. I sell the gifted Ford Focus C-Max 1.8 petrol engine and want to drive for my studies in the week over 600km and I can refuel at home at the farm buy a long distance diesel. Since I live in Austria the diesel scandal is only a problem in the future and until then I am certainly finished with my studies. In the family we have made very good experiences with the 1.9 tdi Rumpeldüse engine. Both well over 300,000km and up to But I want at least one diesel with green badge. When was the common-rail diesel installed in the passat (I mean in mid 2008?) or did the 140ps 2.0 tdi rumpel nozzle already have the green badge? I have read out that you can only buy the 2l engine from 2007 onwards, since there are problems with the cylinder head before that and that the oil pump drive must be replaced? In addition, there are versions with DPF and without. Which is to be preferred? n Passat will, it will become a Seat Exeo combo, but there are only so few of them? At Ford I have also looked around but found nothing appealing. I am very satisfied with my up to the pass.. Mileage which is realistic with my budget is between 180,000 and 220,000km. At least with the VW group. Which 2.0 tdi would you recommend and are there any other good alternatives? LG Bravotwo

Use environmental premium, but which vehicle has the best chance of winning?
I bought an old diesel in the middle of last year (1000 euros), drove it over the winter 5000km and had already the goal to scrap the car now with the environmental premium (I speculated on an extension and kept right ). However, my then car planning did not stay that way, i.e. I would now only scrap the car for “profit” reasons and then sell the new vehicle again after the 6 months stop with as much profit as possible. Now i I’m thinking, which car has the biggest chance of winning? A 86 hp (110hp?) golf, which I can now order with just under 40%? A Ford Focus with just under 50%? (where the new model will be released soon) Or a new VW Tiguan, which will only bring just under 30%. Otherwise, I would perhaps consider a Passat 125 hp with just under 45% discount. And then you generally rather take a completely naked one in order to be able to lie behind the price at the very bottom or yet n a few more equipment options?

Economical combo up to 250€
Hi everybody, I’m driving a nice 320i E36 convertible, which is no longer suitable for my driving profile, both in terms of consumption and space. Therefore, something new should happen. As I’m tired of stacking the back bench, it should be a vehicle with a little more luggage volume this time. Since I’m traveling relatively much on motorways, the new one should not have less than 100 hp, yet be economical in terms of consumption. Requirements: At least golf size, but prefer golf variant size economical in the verbr also power from 100 hp and more diesel/petrols is relatively irrelevant (currently I drive about 1500 kilometers a month + smaller city trips; here would probably make more sense, wouldn’t it?) Route profile: 70% motorway, 30% city Price maximum 250€ Suchumkreis Braunschweig <100KM As favourites I have the Golf 4 Variant as 1.6 petrol in mind. However, I have heard that the consumption level(8-10L) is probably not much less than with my current vehicle (9-11L) In terms of motorway rides, I am also unsure whether the 105 hp is enough, or if you have to be afraid to be smoked on the left lane. Other competitors: -E46 Touring (optically the absolute favonrit, but cost-wise no alternative - as BMW fan must be listed here ;D ) -Ford Focus Tunier -Skoda Octavia Combi -Opel Astra Caravan Some of the alternatives are much cheaper in purchasing than in golf. d here advisable? Are there any other useful alternatives? What is there to consider? I am grateful about every advice and experience report.

Hyundai guarantee EU carriages
Hello together, we are currently looking for a Hyundai i10 and hear from many pages, various things regarding the 5-year guarantee. The dealers say they have never had problems, whether EU or German vehicle, guarantee there is definitely. However, I read on the Internet contradictory statements. Has anyone had experience with warranty cases of a Hyundai EU vehicle so far?

BMW Diesel Touring BJ 2007 / 2009
Hello everybody, I am currently looking for a new vehicle. I drive 35 km to work and 35 km back every day (almost only the motorway). In addition, there are the normal private rides. Since my father drives a BMW 320D E91 BJ 2007 and I have noticed that this vehicle is also a lot of fun for me and it is also suitable for my work path, I have looked up two vehicles and made dates for test drives. Now I am researching tips on driving on the following Article of the car picture pushed:http://www.autobild.de/…/…3er-e90-brauchtwagen-test-5593425.html Here it is already described, that with the models quite problems can occur. I look at the next days the following cars: BMW 320D Touring 120 KW BJ 07/2007 163 PS AUTOMATICS with 202000 km BMW 318D DPF Touring 105KW BJ 04/2009 143 PS AUTOMATICS180000 km. and as a cover: Audi A4 Avant 2.5 TDI S-Line 120KW BJ 04/2005 163 PS AUTOMATICS 195000 km. Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI Ambi Question: is it better to leave your fingers off the BMW (especially the 3 series). Are these cars more suitable for short distance or as company cars with maintenance contracts and less for private ones? Are the listed problems normal problems that occur also with a VW, AUDI or Mercedes or are they especially common for the 3 series? So that an AUDI would be more advisable? Even if the BMWs look class, it would be even more important to me an A uto buy, which can be driven without big problems. If further questions come up, I gladly answer these ncoh. Many greetings Caliber

Needed vehicle for commuters
Hello dear with motor-talker, in September there is a strong change in my career. my work path will increase from 1km to 38km per track. This is naturally associated with extra costs not to be despised. Currently I drive an A (W176) 180 CDI from the year 2013 which ran about 31,000km. I am looking for a car, which is suitable for this track (almost 100% highway) and very reliable. This should be as cheap as possible in consumption and maintenance and already I could of course also drive the A further, but I guess the costs are so much higher due to the insurance (I’m currently paying an incredible €2000 total!!) and loss of value etc. I’m 22 years old and will earn income of grade A9 (2000 € net after deduction of PKV) at the new job. My hopefully better half earns exactly the same after their studies, but without work. But we like to save untouched in order to build a house in the future. I am bound to the new place at least 5 or more 10 years. What would you recommend me? Continue driving the A180 or sell it and probably even buy a cheaper vehicle under the VKP of the A and if so which one? Thank you in advance!

Sporty, reliable alternative solution up to 5k searched!
Hello, I am planning to buy a new car soon (approx. within the next 2 months). First I have to say that I have actually already decided on a model (Honda Civic 1.6 VTi (EK4)), but since this one is rather rare and wanted, I am here looking for possible alternative solutions. Since I have often and very, very long broken my head about it but did not think of anything reasonable, I wanted to try it again here. Maybe j My criteria would be: – price max. 5000 Euro – suction motor – as sporty as possible – no thick ship (so no suggestions âla A6 or so) – consumption with moderate driving mode max. 9-10 L/100km, that it will be more with sporty driving mode is logical – Japanese (especially Honda), but does not necessarily have to provide – performance I’m not stuck – no convertible – BMW hate – 4 people should find space (but it doesn’t have to be a limousine!) – with specific offers radius of 200km around 49824 So, I think it would be for the first time. Thank you very much in advance for your help!
