Hello together, I recently acquired my driver’s license (automatics) – a little late, I am just over 30. Now I am looking for a vehicle and I have come across the following Mercedes (A180) here: I already looked at it on site and find it really good (I have to say that I don’t know about cars). I could pay the vehicle in one go, so I don’t have to finance it, but I have some concerns about the following points: I have already after possible age native looked (relatively young used cars – from 2105er first registration), like Mazda 2, Peugeot 2008, Dacia Sandero, BMW 1er, Audi A1, BMW Z3 (actually my dream car, but already very old) etc. A good safety equipment is already very important to me, as well as air conditioning, automatic transmission (should drive nothing else) and parking assistance. Thus one is with above mentioned models apparently fast at about 15,000€ (with exception of the Z3 of course – the there is for about 600€ but also not with all the extras I would like to have) – the Mercedes would be a bit more expensive, but maybe also qualitatively and from the equipment somewhat better. Old car: At the moment I drive a Opel Astra H (EZ: 05/2004 1.4 with 90hp) I bought this one at the end of 2011 (8500€) because he had 30k Km on the clock. Now he has almost 95k Km. Inspections and oil changes were made regularly. Unfortunately, the automatic air conditioning only warms up if you put it on high otherwise the car is in good condition and 8x matured (steel rims).
