  • Unique purchase advice – diesel for 4000€

Hello, was invited to my niece today. There her girlfriend approached me and said you know yourself a little bit about cars. She recently scrapped her car and is now looking for a new vehicle for 4000€ and it must be a diesel? Actually wanted to talk her out of the diesel. But she says her parents would pay the car tax, insurance and fuel (diesel) at a diesel truck. Should she buy a petroler you would have to pay for everything yourself. She only had to pay for the vehicle. Was then a bit perplexed. Which (diesel) car for 4000€ should be recommended to an 18-year-old girl? Km-driving performance she could not tell me either, because she only has the driver’s license for 7 months. We could then at least calculate the kilometers for the driving distance to work. There she comes to about 9000km. Which vehicle would you recommend?

  • German car up to max 12000

Hi guys, I’m looking for a car that should fit my needs. However, I don’t know which engine would be best suited or which model. I’ll start training soon, which means I’ll have about 10 km back and forth every day + fun rides, shopping etc. So you can easily count Saturday + Sunday. So we’re at 140 km in the week. I’d like to stay with the German car manufacturers. So VW, Audi, BMW and Opel (u) Mercedes won’t be able to offer anything sporty until 12000. The following would be important to me: – The engine should be robust – min. 150 hp, but no need. It should be fast. – Engine capacity not below 1.4. – Equipment: only what you consider to be a must-have with this model might be something that you could also retrofit it yourself. – Whether 2 seats or 4 seats does not matter. – BJ. min. 2009 I like the following models very much: – Golf 6 – Scirocco – Bmw 1er – Audi A3 I’m very much for your recommendation.

  • Small car or 316i(e36) as little consumption as possible!! Under 500€

Hello comrades! I’m thinking about buying a cheap car, which may also serve me as a delivery vehicle in the pizza service. I think of cars like Fiat Cinquecento/Seicto or a Japanese. (I would gladly take a 316i but I think that consumes already a little more and is also more expensive in the maintenance.) Important is the price range of less than 500€. I have heard that you move many small cars like Fiat 500/600 or the old Polos with 1.4er with about 6L. With these small cars know Unfortunately I’m not looking good. It is important that he is cheap in insurance and above all economical. Thanks already in advance!

  • Young family looking for car

Hello together, we (a young family three, from Düsseldorf) are looking for a car (combi). Unfortunately I have no idea at all about cars. We also need “just” a car that takes us from A to B. Of course it should also be sure but it doesn’t have to have big extras. Except a “radio” wouldn’t be bad I would like to keep the budget as small as possible. Makes it better to pick up an annual car, new car or a used one. I would like to get us an “old” because our budget is very low. But if that doesn’t make any sense, then I would also like to take up a loan up to 12,000 €. It is also important to me that the spare parts are not so expensive and the car has a cheap consumption. I have looked for them out. Maybe someone has a tip for me? • Small poison gnome for 40,000€

Moin, I’m looking for a golf class car with a powerful motorization. Should be driven by me 2-3 years and 100,000 km. I mostly drive a Ford Focus Diesel. But it should be replaced now. I had the S3 from a mate for just under a month. I like it very much. An alternative would be an RS3, a R32 or a 135i. A GTI falls away because it is too “present” and I would like to have something “more exclusive”. My dream would be an A45, but there are only “empty” cars for my budget. The criteria are the following: a maximum of 40.000€ should be spent, for that it must be the perfect car. Actually I wanted to stay in the price range of 28,000€-30.000€. max 50,000 km max 3-4 years old lots of equipment My driver profile: mainly highway, primarily on weekends, much of it at night Since I don’t know so well with this vehicle class, now I can stand some questions. Where do I get the most car for the money? Which one has an acceptable residual value at the end? Which car has the best overall package? Is this class fit for my driver profile or should I rather look a class higher with a few PS less? Dear greetings and many thanks in advance Edit: Before here comes again stupid sayings I would ask you to refrain completely from an answer.

  • Which old Volvo combo is recommended?

Hello together, … I fell in love with the old square Volvo combi, but always get a little confused with the model range. I’m definitely looking for a gasoline combi and wanted to spend a maximum of 5,000 EUR. Is the 740 series of the 960s preferable or which offers the most comfort for a bigger driver? I don’t want to drive the car for eternity, but would like to have a few years Volvo and therefore the car should also be in terms of distance. I’m looking forward to getting a Volvo from home, right? I see a lot of cars with a few kilometers and an LPG system — but I’m a little careful about that. Thank you in advance! Greetings Jan

  • My first car – probably not a dream car yet…?!

My name is Franz, I am 20 years old and still for the next ~3 years student. Nevertheless, I still get a monthly income of about 600€. I can also live for free in the best hotel in the world. Now I am at a point where I can almost no longer pass by a own car. Brother becomes 18, now also uses the cars of my parents and so on. I will not drive 100,000 km a year, but so about 10,000+ who I am looking for a car for around 8,000 €, which is not overly expensive in the maintenance. Of course it is supposed to be a used car. I see myself as a rather quiet driver, but also on the highway occasionally wants to pass by with swing left. Originally I always thought it had to be due to price some old Opel Corsa. Meanwhile I “unfortunately” got into the small Audi models A1 and A3, because the yes pure from the purchase price I’m very fond of Audi in general and the idea is now so in my head… Would I like to spend about 250 € per month on running costs with the two models? Now I wanted to ask you if this would be a sensible undertaking? I’m also open to alternative suggestions. I don’t need a show car, but I want to be happy to get into the car myself. MfG Franz

  • Which vehicle fits my requirements ?

Help, maybe someone here has ideas for me. My new vehicle should meet these requirements: Since I hold bees, I need a car with a low loading edge, preferably also inside in the trunk no edge (via which you have to balance things over), a flat trunk – if possible even when the back seat is flipped over. The trunk should be wide. Bees can make dirt, therefore I do not need a carpet in the trunk. The vehicle should at least 100 hp, since possibly a trailer coupling is attached. Petrol or diesel doesn’t matter, but definitely a cruise control. The price should not exceed the pain limit of 20,000 euros, can also be already 2 – 3 years old. Oh yes, and over 4,50m total length the mobile underlay should not come. Luggage compartment and length are such things with which sellers unfortunately can’t do anything…. I have already thought of a high roof combo, but are there still other alternatives ? G soot, Claudia

  • Accidental car bought as accident free– what to do?

Moin Moin, I have the following question: On 6.10.14 we purchased a Peugeot 308CC from a dealer for 15.89€. In the purchase contract it was stated that the vehicle is accident-free, but the driver’s door was painted. Today we learned that it is not so, the car had two accidents, various damages were repaired, the first without wages of 3,400€, the second 2,300€. Definitely not only the paint, but also the body was damaged, nic Question: If we change the car, how much can the dealer retain as a new time value? Does he have to replace us with the investments made? We have already bought winter tyres and aluminium wheels and so invested about 800€ in addition. If we do not change the car, how much can we get refunded from the purchase price? We drove in time about 5,000km by car. If I have forgotten something, ask calmly, am just a little excited and nervous. Thank you.
