Hello I am looking for a car like everyone else here. The car is mainly used for studying, so drive to university 8km, weekend then always home 150 km, then still leisure rides etc. So not the frequent driver, therefore also gasoline, which is more intelligent with the budget anyway. Requirements for the car: Mandatory: – at least 4 seats – no combo! – Golf size, coupe or limosine – max. 170 thousand km – car should stand in BW or Bavaria, live in Stuttgart. – no too high v use and cheap in maintenance Nice to have: but with the budget rather improbable – leather – rear parking aid – convertible, which is to be recommended there with 4 seats? My favorite is actually an Alfa Romeo, which always look good, but you often read bad… For any suggestions I’m still open. Thanks

Help, I can’t decide
Hello I’m short. VW Scirocco 1.4 TSI or Abarth Punto 1.4 16V? I can’t decide optics: quite clearly Scirocco Sound: quite clearly Abarth Power: despite the 10hp more, a Rocco will probably not arrive against an Abarth. What about maintenance? The VW will probably live longer and with less problems or? The Abarth is just an Italian.. However, built more sporty than a normal Fiat Punto. Does this make a difference in terms of problems, etc.? price as well as insurance are both quite identical. Consumption also. Ask for advice

Euro – Van: which one is best? At all good?
Hello! As a car-interested person I am always asked in relation and acquaintance, when it is about new cars. Much is of course only “only for interest”, therefore I ask for indulgence, if this purchase advice does not follow any actual purchase. Currently a family with 2 small children is looking for a new / used car with ideally 2 sliding doors. The high roof combis are all already through, these would be ok, but not great. Because they bribe by favorable price, In addition, a trailer load of at least 1.5 tons would be good, but not very important. In case of doubt, there is a 20 year old combination with over 2t ready. This trailer load also offers only the fewest HDKs. The possibilities in this field are quite thin sown, therefore to the actual question: What is to be kept of the so-called Eurovans Fiat Ulysse, Citroe C8, Peugeot 807 and Lancia Phedra? Which engine/gear combination is to be recommended missing, which brands are better than others, are there fault guarantors e.g. with electric sliding doors or sliding roofs? Or is this series generally not recommended? Sometimes completely detached from driving profile and budget. Thank you!

Cheap new car more worthwhile than used vehicle?
Hello all, I have to buy a car for the winter semester. I would drive that at least until the end of my studies (about 3 years still). But now the question arises whether it is worth buying a new car. In the eye I currently have the new SEAT Leon SC 3Türer 1.2 TSI. Is there an EU new car for just over 10k€, if I did not understand something wrong. If I look at older used models the prices for acceptable vehicles are 5k-6k€. I would get the new car, then I get the after 3 years with ~35000km on the Km-Stand still loosely for min. 6k€ away again if nothing bigger happens. The used for 5-6k would be already min. In 2nd hand, would have another 35km on KM-Stand and 3 years older. In addition, I probably have to go to the workshop more often when used. A new car loses a lot of value after the first kilometers, but at prices for 10k would have to get almost the same out of it. You’d rather pay 1000€ more after the 3 years and have a new car with warranty than a used one for 6k€ which is only worth 2-3k after your studies. Hope one can tell me if I have a big mistake in thinking or if I’m right. Thank you

Purchase advice
Hello I would buy a car but can’t decide. The a4 2.0tdi with 143ps would fit me best. Nevertheless I would be interested in the VW Passat2.0 tdi, BMW 3er 318d and the Mercedes E class 220 cdi. (The cars are all starting from 2012). I would like to know your opinion Thank you in advance

Cheap and sporty car for beginners
Hey there, I’m 19 years young, I’ve been driving my driver’s license for a year, driving regularly with the Opel Vivaro and the Opel Corsa of my parents and am now looking for a used car. Since I have to drive a lot, the consumption should be limited, and where we’re talking about, the car should be too. And that at about 1500km/mtl. Of course, the car should be a little more sporty, 100hp wouldn’t be bad. What do you think? Almost 3000€? Or am I taking over beyond measure? Thank you in advance for your help! Greetings

Fresh, sporty hatchback for beginners
Hello guys, I have created a thread here last time, in which I have been looking for a Japanese for me. Well, I will have my driver’s license around autumn, winter at the latest and still look for a vehicle for me. (Bin then 19) Don’t think I change my mind every 2 minutes, there’s a lot of thought behind it. In addition, current circumstances allow me to increase my budget. I would like to buy a car as current as possible, but that’s the big drop in value already behind It doesn’t have to be a new car. It’s supposed to be a sporty hatchback, whether with 5 or 3 doors I don’t know yet. Sporty it should feel like that, also look like that and there should be no high maintenance costs on me, instead it can be quite expensive when buying it. Sporty also doesn’t mean that I want to wrap the car directly around a tree. Much more he should simply be “spritzy” and “freak” so that he won’t get bored when I’m more experienced in driving. Of course I’ll be a beginner, but I don’t throw my money away for something that’s just satisfactory, it’s supposed to be a car that makes me proud and happy, but that’s what I want (almost) everyone. My budget is max. 15 thousand, yet I like to save every euro. You can certainly trade down the price or at least secure guarantees? Of course I could buy something more economical, but then I ask myself…what for? Is it not possible to I’m a reasonable person and I’m not going to do anything stupid, I don’t drink alcohol, etc., so it’s probably not possible to break a car directly, even as a beginner, isn’t it? Oh, and a seat heater and a good sound system (at least not a bad one) are a must for me, especially after this winter… I’m grateful for every piece of advice. (i.e.

Combi with AHK up to 1500,- – which brand/model is good despite high age?
Hello, after I was separated from my old man from the TÜV, a new one has to come… but since I only have 1500, – it will have a good bowl again. With them I was always lucky so far, she could drive so 4 years. To my present, Ford Mondeo from 98, who made from the beginning with the brakes, and every 6 weeks goes over some small stuff (back flap damper, heating, ZV and and and…) Jordan. In that I do not want to put any further money for the TÜV, is a For example, I heard at the rumrecherchiererei that these things were typical for the model/year of construction (“children’s diseases”: the problems with the brakes, ZV). I would have liked to know this before and hope to know this this time. I cared with a Benz E 220 – 240, which are from 97 upwards and mostly have about 270 000 on it, just in my budget. Because it means the engines run up to 400Tkm without problems if they ́s up to d Now a colleague said that you have to fill yourself with the engine age stupid and stupid, consumption would be far above the specified 8-9 l., rather at 11 – 12, that would definitely be too much. What else would be possible? Must be a combi with AHK and have a bit of balls to pull – so 120hp would be i.e. if they are not as heavy as my present – the weighs 2t, and with its 118hp it is a bit small motorized, from the driving behavior and especially when pulling mer kt mans. No diesel, be afraid of the turbo (rep.) and do not drive enough (so 12,000km a year). As young as possible for the money color, brand etc. must be of no concern to me (except if with a certain brand the spare parts in case of a reperture cost more than the whole car, was I told to Mercedes?). I know I am an imposition with these requirements. Hope nevertheless on input Thanks already in advance!

Towing vehicle for 12m long display car wanted
New here, if the topic should be better picked up where otherwise, it can be packed through the moderation gladly there Am to solve myself and to move as a traveler/nomad through the country from next autumn. I am at the same time a 12m car as self-sufficiently as possible, which will then be my traveling home. He still needs a suitable towing vehicle, with which I make the journeys and which is then also my working vehicle for the tree care. n no great experience, therefore I am happy about tips, which can be suitable for me here. * Strong train, let’s go, that the trailer after finished construction has so 10-12 to * box structure with 4m length (for ladders, saws, tree removal) * mobile with “old” driving licence (so max. 7,5to) * should also come clear with wet meadow or sand * ideally with pull winch possibility (move trees, pull out trunks) * next to the driver’s seat at least two more seats, would be better The four * top speed with the trailer load would also be interesting, as there are also distances of several hundred kilometers to be covered between inside * rather simple robust model (without much electronics) * Mouths for the trailer front and rear

The optimal car
Hello together, since all the car specialists have gathered here I hope for great suggestions. I am looking for a cheap everyday car. However, as it is usually the case that the loss of value of a vehicle exceeds the other maintenance costs I am especially looking for vehicles that have in principle little to no value loss but are nevertheless suitable for everyday use. The following things should be on board: Low-consumption engine with max. 2 L engine capacity Airbag(s) ABS/ESP air conditioning 4 seats and a bit of trunk Green badge/EURO4 At the moment I can only think of the Audi A2. Do you have any other ideas?? (Yes, the “buy the old lock for 500EUR, which also has no value loss…” I don’t mean now) Thank you Markus
